Carly Rae Jepsen in Concert
After multi-platinum Grammy, Juno and Polaris Prize nominated singer/songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen released her critically acclaimed album E·MO·TION in 2015, it became "a modern touchstone for a new crop of pop-leaning artists and legacy acts," as NPR noted. The album also inspired an abundance of memes — extending the cultural cachet that Jepsen earned from the ubiquity of her GRAMMY® -nominated blockbuster hit "Call Me Maybe" (from her U.S debut album Kiss), which not only climbed to No. 1 on the iTunes Singles charts in over 47 countries, sold over 20 million singles worldwide, and was certified Diamond in the U.S., but was referenced by everyone from former secretary-of-state Colin Powell to Cookie Monster.
Jepsen's most recent album, 2019's Dedicated, retains the joyful, hook-filled feeling of its predecessor. But where E*MO*TION was an '80s-influenced synth-pop classic that Rolling Stone called "a pop masterclass" and Stereogum called "indisputable, unfuckwithable pop genius," Dedicated has a more '70s-inspired feel at times, though the album defies categorization as a whole, with Vulture stating, "Dedicated is both stranger and freer than the last record, but it also feels more confident and considered." Working with a crew of trusted songwriters and producers, among them John Hill, Jack Antonoff, Captain Cuts, Patrik Berger, and her longtime collaborator Tavish Crowe, Jepsen indulged in more sonic experimentation than she had in the past. Dedicated features the fan favorites "Party For One," "Now That I Found You," "No Drug Like Me" and "Julien."
Jepsen landed the lead role in the 2014 Broadway production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella and later starred as the iconic Pink Lady, "Frenchy," in FOX's four-time EMMY award winning musical GREASE: LIVE. Jepsen voiced the character of Odette in the animated movie "LEAP!," which also featured Jepsen's song "Cut To The Feeling."

Following the release of Dedicated Jepsen embarked on a global tour playing to audiences at venues like the Arizona Federal Theatre in North America, as well as crowds in Japan, China, Australia, Canada and Europe. Jepsen will return to the U.S. later this year for performances at Coachella and Governor's Ball.
Phenomenal performance, loved everything from the opener to the light choreo to her crowd interactions. And her beautiful voice! I’ll definitely be seeing her again on the next tour.

Everything about this concert was amazing. I usually don't like going to Aztec for GA tickets because I don't think there is enough room for everyone, but since Carly Rae isn't as big, there was comfortable room. Carly Rae Jepsen herself was amazing and she put on a great show. It felt like a dance party and I haven't had that much fun in a long time! 10/10 would go see her again!
Carly rae is the pop star of our generation... a true icon in the industry. Her performance was subtle yet loud, a fun party that anyone could enjoy.
I have been wanting to see Carly in person for years, and I can say that she did not disappoint! Her performance was incredible. She really got everyone hyped and dancing to the beat! The music sounded better than ever, and the visuals were amazing too. I am so glad I went to this.

The vip room was a bit loud and I was expecting to pay a bit more for snacks but I got a water and skittles for 8 dollars!!!! That’s insane. The concert itself was amazing and on time. No complaints here
She really made the experience very worth while. Her songs sound so much better live & her little commentary for each one really kept it entertaining and worth the wait.

So much fun, I wish I could relive it! It was great to be at a smaller venue with general admission, because you were so close to the stage regardless of where you stood.
I had the vip and it was so perfect. Got to see her soundcheck and get a signed poster from her. Had the chsnce to meet her and get a picture with her! She is one of the sweetest people. The show was top notch. Visually musically and emotionally. To relive it would be amazing!
My wife and I went to go see Carly on Tuesday, and we had a blast! The crowd was singing to all the songs and we all were dancing to her music. I would highly recommend her live show to anyone!
This was not my first time seeing CRJ, as I saw her on the last tour in 2016, but what a difference three years makes. She was great the first time, but the production value on this tour was a significant improvement. I very rarely see artists I've seen before a second or third time, but this was well worth it and if you're on the fence, JUST DO IT!
I wasn't sure what to expect of a full Carly show. But it was pure fun from beginning to end. If you are thinking about going to see her, go.
I have always been a fan of hers but seeing her live sealed the deal. She put in a great, fun show and Phoebe Ryan was wonderful too! It was just an experience of joy!

This concert was honestly one of the best I’ve ever been to. It had the best atmosphere and was so much fun. Everyone was dancing and she was so cute. It was amazing. Drinks were expensive, but Carly can’t control that
This show was great!! Merch line was very effectively run, bars were not too crowded, and the crowd was amazing. Carly Rae Jepsen and her opener Phoebe Ryan brought great energy as well! The concert venue is in an old church, which gives off a cool vibe and is generally an interesting and fun venue. I plan to return soon!
Ms. Carley Slay Jepsen brought the goods and raised the roof on the tabernacle ! She had the crowd moving and shaking thier groove things all night and she and her band were on point all night. She sang alot of material from the new album Dedicated...and they were all great. Also added alot if material from the excellent Emotion album. I was impressed with her vocals and how good the band was. Also impressed with the diversity of the crowd that ranged from young children..mostly young girls to adults in there 40s to 60s..and everyone was singing bipoing and dancing to all of the songs. Great experience...i couldve stayed another couole hours to hear her while catalogue.
