About

Cardi B is a multiplatinum-selling, Grammy-winning rapper from the Bronx, New York. Born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, Cardi originally made a name for herself on Vine and Instagram before joining Love & Hip-Hop: New York for two seasons from 2015 to 2017. Quickly becoming an audience favorite for her unfiltered style and sense of humor, she released two mixtapes during her time on the VH1 reality show before exiting ahead of its eighth season. Cardi released her major label debut single, “Bodak Yellow,” in the summer of 2017 and it soon topped the Billboard Hot 100 for three consecutive weeks, making her the second female rapper to earn a solo No. 1 hit in the 21st century. Subsequently, Cardi’s debut album, Invasion of Privacy, became its own No. 1 when it was released in April 2018. The studio set has since been certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and also earned the superstar her first Grammy for Best Rap Album. Other major singles in Cardi’s discography include “I Like It” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin, “Please Me” and “Finesse (Remix)” with Bruno Mars, “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion, “Up” and “Rumors” with Lizzo. Cardi’s long-awaited sophomore album Am I The Drama? was preceded by singles “Outside” and “Imaginary Playerz,” and will be released on September 19, 2025.

  • Greatest experience ever!!!

    Cardi was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The performers were great..

    by A. on 7/26/19BOK Center - TulsaRating: 3 out of 5

The performers were great!! Cardi B did amazing and so was Kevin Gates. I give it 3 stars due to the audio quality sounding extremely muffled, it was sometimes hard to hear what the performers were saying. Also, for anybody that did not purchase tickets directly in front of the stage, you could barely see the performer because they didn’t have the screens down to the left and right of the stage. Putting the screens down would have allowed people sitting on either side of the stage or all the way in the back to be able to actually see and fully enjoy the performances on the bigger screen.

  • Cardi

  • Just OK

by Jen on 6/8/19Colonial Life Arena - ColumbiaRating: 1 out of 5

Show was supposed to start at 7. Cardi didn’t even come on stage until 10:20. It was a Sunday night and we had planned to leave a little early anyway be she it was a two hour drive home and we had to work in the morning. Only got to see about 20 minutes. She chopped all her songs, and I mean chopped. Her actual performance was great but it was really inconsiderate to make fans wait so long.

  • Cardi B Concert

    by K. M. on 5/18/19Colonial Life Arena - ColumbiaRating: 2 out of 5

Cardi b did not come on stage until 10:20 and the concert was over before 11pm. I paid good money to see her. I felt disappointed, disrespected, unappreciated and crazy. It was Sunday night Mother’s Day and I had traveled 2 hours to see her. she performed 1/4 of each of her songs...just don’t feel she gave all she could’ve. Needless to say I’ll never spend my coins on her again.

  • Ok experience

    by D. E. on 5/17/19Colonial Life Arena - ColumbiaRating: 2 out of 5

Cardi B took to long to take Stage. Show started at 7 she took stage about 10:18. Had a lot of small performances before her which was ok, but not great. It was like a big club party with DJ playing music all the way until she came on. She only performed about 40 minutes, it was a pretty good show, could have been longer for the ticket prices. Would not go again.

  • Not as Expected

    by J.A. on 5/17/19Colonial Life Arena - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

This concert did not go as expected at all to me or probably anyone. Cardi B was awesome, BUT (read to the end).... We traveled from Charleston to Columbia which is an hour and a half drive. We arrived early as Ticketmaster sent an email to plan to arrive early due to heavy traffic in the area and parking, the lots were not on the property. Doors opened at 6pm, we were parked before 6:30pm and were inside and found our seats by 6:30pm. The local radio station was hosting and playing music, the "show" started promptly at 7pm. But it turned out to be local opening acts and then how it was named "Cardi B and Friends" well then her "friends" were performing and in between their sets was more DJ music. Lets talk about the music. It was TOO LOUD, the music was loud but when anyone would talk in the Mic or perform it sounded HORRIBLE. Like there was no sound check, to make sure the music was loud enough but not louder than the people on the mic or to make sure the people on the mic sounded good and not just like people were yelling in the mic, sometimes you couldn't understand what was being said because of this. Another part of "the music" was out of all the years of music we have to choose from, the DJ's kept playing some of the songs multiple times, why?! It was music the crowd liked but playing something more than twice is enough, my reason for saying this is WE WAITED OVER FOUR HOURS FOR CARDI B TO COME OUT! As I stated we were there at 6:30pm the show was supposed to start at 7pm and it did, but Cardi B did not come out until after 10:10pm (I kept checking my phone). She did probably and hour and a half set, which was amazing, the performance was great, she looked great, put on a great show and somehow sounded better on the mic than every single person who was on it before here... That was odd, but she was the main reason everyone was there WAITING to see her. The show was over around 11:30pm. Everyone rushed to the parking lots which was its own disaster, stuck in our spot blocked in for over 30minutes, it was a little after midnight when I was able to barely move out of my parking spot. Then we had to drive an hour and a half back to Charleston, so we did not get home until after 1am !! I had to work the next day, expecting the concert to start at 7pm even if it lasted 3 hours total, leave at 10pm and be home by 11:30pm, not arriving after 1am when I get up at 5am for work! Nobody updated us on why it was taking so long for Cardi to come out. It really seemed like they were BS'n and dragging things on for all of us to wait and not be impatient. I paid $300 for 2 tickets. Some people had kids and were expecting to be gone for only a few hours, not to actually be there waiting for 4 hours and be there a total of 5 and half hours.. Is that normal!!?? The DJ's could've played more popular music instead of the same songs more than once and also could've done a sound check to make sure the music and people on the mics sounded good. The sound quality was poor. Took a few videos to show my mom and she even said it all sounded like garbage and makes Cardi look bad. So I don't know how much is whos fault, but everything made alot of people including the place look bad. Overall it was alot fun, just a tad bit disappointing that everything wasn't perfect, when they had plenty of time before Cardi actually came out. Some people were like is she even here, why is she keeping us waiting this long??!! Maybe updates even if its weather or late arrival, let us know something, it was frustrating. Alot of people had bad signals so we couldn't check any social media to waste time or check for updates. It was a long night. Her performance was great, but like I said alot of things made the people and the place look bad, otherwise everything would've been 5 stars, but I don't think things were set up correctly and should've updated people waiting on the main act. That is the main reason everyone was there, not to waste hours of peoples time, waiting on her.

  • Sound System Horrible

by Dee on 5/16/19Colonial Life Arena - ColumbiaRating: 2 out of 5

Cardi B was AWESOME. The sound quality in the arena was HORRIBLE. I couldn't understand anything the performers or the host were saying. Cardi did her thing. If you didn't know the song, then you wouldn't know what they were talking about. The sound QUALITY was just HORRIBLE!!!!!

  • Good but not great

by Shallah on 5/16/19Colonial Life Arena - ColumbiaRating: 3 out of 5

I really enjoyed Cardi’s show. I do think it ran very long though. The opening acts weren’t good at all. They lacked stage presence and charisma. While Cardi was good her set felt rushed.

  • Solid Effort

by Happy Mother's Day on 5/16/19Colonial Life Arena - ColumbiaRating: 3 out of 5

For this being Cardi B's first tour since becoming a mother (let alone headlining) I think it was a solid effort. It has to be remembered that she has but one album (and "dropped two mixtapes in six months") and a slew of features. So, she isn't working with a massive catalog (yet). At this point in her career, she is known to perform on award shows, festivals or small stages but this was different. With that being said, I went with an understanding that the "And Friends" was a mixed bag of various artists that will pop up during tour stops. I'd really hoped that Teyanna Taylor decided to make an appearance during this stop but alas, she didn't. So sitting and waiting for the headliner through the three opening acts and fillers was something I prepared for. Not to mention one action (Drezzy) let the crowd know that she experienced logistical issues and I think those issues affected the timing and flow of the show. I have to give it to her- Cardi gave a high energy performance and even brought a special guest. She was on stage for 45 mins but it really flew by- I was shocked. Which lets me know (IMO) that I was having a good time. I think as she continues to tour, releases more content- and works on her cardio for stamina- her stage performances will continue to get better and better. Pros High energy Engaging Dancers were on super cute Crowd vibe She attempted to give us damn near every feature she has done in the last two years Cons (and all these aren't just on her) The concert promoter/director should have better transition between acts aka too many DJ showcases but s/o to B Lord. Cardi has to work on transitions/flow between her songs and her DJ can be a hype man...behind his turn table. Cardi has to work on her stamina- poor thing I would go see her again

  • Colonial Life Arena

by Ty on 5/16/19Colonial Life Arena - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

Cardi was great but the audio in the arena was horrible.

  • Had a great time

by Ash on 5/16/19Colonial Life Arena - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

I really enjoyed her performance she was awesome . Just wished she performed the entire songs, she cut some short, and I didn’t enjoy the opening acts, wish there were more people who we knew, somebody like blueface, or dababy, even Kash doll, or Megan the stallion as openers.

  • Worst concert

by Natasha on 5/16/19Colonial Life Arena - ColumbiaRating: 1 out of 5

It was a complete waste of money! She came out after 3 hours and it was all a mash up. Then end the concert in 45 mins after she finally showed. She even made a comment saying she had plans and didnt know that she was preforming in columbia. Wow real prefessional!!!
