    Another great show

by Rikki on 1/20/20Pensacola Saenger Theatre - Pensacola

I have seen this group several times now and I'm never disappointed. I'm sure it doesn't hurt that the current political climate currently gives them an abundance of material.

Hilarious show, but the parking you sold me NOT HONORED!

by Cathleen on 12/30/19Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center - Washington

I paid your company $15 for event parking, following the instructions to the letter, including address, following all the signs your company told me to follow, i.e. "3201 Parking", red & white "Visitor parking sign," etc., but when approaching the gate, there was no place to scan the pass barcode I had printed out beforehand, had to take a ticket to enter the parking and there was no person at the parking garage to help so we had to pay an additional $17 for parking. Big bummer!

Good satirical balance between political parties and people. The actors & actresses were fantastic. Clever! Whitty! Fun.

    Always an excellent show

by L. on 12/17/19Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center - Washington

I had family in town, and they always listen to Capitol Steps on NYE, so of course we had to go while they were here. It just so happened, we went on the night they were doing the recording for NPR. Talk about perfect. Everybody laughed and had a blast. Can’t recommend enough.

    Logistical nightmare

by L. S. on 10/22/19Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center - Washington

The show itself was incredibly funny and the performers are superb. However, finding the theatre wasn't fun. I parked in one of the three parking lots that were suggested at booking and prepaid. When we were late and I said to the woman at will-call that it was a "fiasco" to find the place, she said, "that's because you parked on 14th street". I didn't appreciate that since I parked in the pre-paid suggested lot. I thought by doing that things would be EASIER. Once we got to the building it seems it was another 2/10 or so of a mile to the theatre and signage sucked at best. Upon leaving, even though we knew we had to get to other side of building, it was not intuitive. Several other people were in the same boat. It seems that if you've done something for 40 years, this small issue should be ironed out by now. So, we were "those people" entering as the show was starting. The show was wonderful. But finding it was such a nightmare that I took off two stars.

    A BIG Thumbs Up!

by MerryV on 10/14/19Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center - Washington

We attended the show on Oct 11th and the four of us laughed so hard, we soon realized why there was an intermission! Yes, the Capitol Steps poke fun at all political stripes - with a mixture of silliness, vaudeville, song, and sharp dialogue that’s delivered by true professionals. I would say it would be most enjoyable for adults with a grasp of what’s happening in the leadership of the U.S. government. Well worth the price of admission!

    Laughed All Night Long

by Iggy on 10/10/19Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center - Washington

This show was one of the funniest performances I have ever seen in my life! Anyone who is a political junky with a sense of humor will absolutely love this show! No political side is spared from skewering. The songs were really creative and the skits had me laughing so hard that my sides hurt and I couldn't breathe! I will definitely go see this again!

    Half an Audience

by Pete on 9/24/19Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center - Washington

The show was fast and funny. Really enjoyed it. For some reason 50% of the seats were not for sale. Had intended to go the previous night but no seats were available. because they were not sold.

    I needed this show!

by Dave on 9/24/19Carolina Theatre - Durham

I'm a political junkie. I listen to politics podcasts incessantly. I seek out political comedy as a stress reliever. This past weekend we attended a show by the Capitol Steps and I needed a fix--bad! They delivered by skewering everyone in a bipartisan spew of humor and songs that hit all available targets. It was hilarious, literate, and well-informed. There were no dead spots, no duds in their show. I recommend them as an ongoing treatment for our political age. By the way, Durham's Carolina Theatre is a gem. The staff are always helpful and very friendly.

    Sound quality

by Carrie on 9/24/19Carolina Theatre - Durham

Songs with funny lyrics aren't funny unless the words are clearly enunciated. My group missed some of the funnies due to singers or sound equipment not being as clear as necessary.
