    Bunny Still has it!

by Garafuna7 on 5/4/16Paradise Rock Club - Boston

It was a great show! His band was very tight. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is that some of the crowd was inconsiderate while maneuvering through the crowd.

    A living legend!

by FJME on 5/3/16Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Bunny Wailer is a living legend and we are so glad that we had the chance to see him live. His show took us through the history of modern Jamaican music, from ska through traditional reggae to more updated forms like dub. Bunny was instrumental in creating all of it, so he performs it all with authority and heart. He did some classic old Wailer tunes, plus some Peter Tosh, but I enjoyed most hearing some tunes that had been unfamiliar to me. Bunny is a phenomenon and his band us phenomenal!

    Bunny = "Feeling Irie"

by JohnRockFan on 5/3/16Paradise Rock Club - Boston

The night started slow as we (Deirdre, Russ and myself) all met in the Paradise Lounge before the show for a few beers. A minute before heading into the venue Bunny and his entourage got off their tour bus and passed through the lounge and into the rock club. The excitement spiked and we followed shortly after and got situated in the middle of the crowd. The DJ got everyone pump by playing Reggae hit after hit, and the crowd sang along "Murder". Then Bunny's band got on stage and started playing. 3 piece horn section, 2 back up singers and a bunch of others. If they played all night without Bunny I would have gotten my moneys worth. Then Bunny came on stage and sang and spoke his heart out. For the next 1.5hrs together we all sang, danced and enjoyed life. Somewhere in the night Bunny played "Fighting Against Conviction" and since then I've listened to it over and over. At another point Bunny Introduced Peter Tosh's son who came out and sang Legalize it, meanwhile Bunny was unselfishly front stage signing autographs (he must have written books because he kept scribbling or he was running out of ink).. The place was full of so many wonderful brother and sisters. Just watching the band was fun, they danced, smiled and had a ball. I explained to my co-worker JoAn ( who is from Jamaica) about how awesome the show was and about the great vibe. She said "you were feeling "Irie".

    Bunny is King

by Blackheartman on 5/3/16Paradise Rock Club - Boston

There are not many musical artists that deserve the title as legend. Bunny Wailer truly does. The current patriarch of reggae music did not disappoint. His spirit is as strong as ever and his voice is not far behind. I was impressed with his performance being that he is pushing 70! I will never forget the night I got to see the black heart man in person. Never. I would have paid hundreds to see this man! What a experience. What a joy. What an honor to be in his presence. Thank you Bunny for all that you have done.

    Played all the classics

by Chigis on 5/1/16Howard Theatre - Washington

This was awesome and very up close. The only regret is he is touring at a late age. He should have done this much earlier. Solid sound. Would see him again and again. It's like seeing Bob and Peter again.

    richie spice should have headlined

    by rasta1kat on 2/28/11Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

the stand out performer was Richie Spice he was on fyre and electrified the audience,Gentleman was entertaining but the Vibes were the same old tired act,.however the Radics were on the spot and the highlight of their preformance.Bunny was Bunny , he didn't seen to sync with his band and continually had to restart his songs.Maybe just an off night, maybe he needs to spend more time with the backup band. All in all it was a good show. I've seen better I've seen worse.

    VERY ORGANISED EVENT

by skeelo on 2/28/11Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

I have been to several reggae shows and this was well organised. All shows were on time. What i would request is that the artists sing more of their old popular songs. But all in all, this wa a good job

    Ragga Muffin Off the Chain!!!

by Tozie on 2/28/11Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

The concert was wonderful! Each performer did their best to perform and we got our money worth. Many were up on their feet, dancin' to the rhythms and feelin' the beats. The atmosphere was filled with the vibes of "One Love". Had a fantastic time. The only concern I had was with the Fox Theater and how they did not allow you to wonder in other (seating) sections of the theater. For example, we had balcony seats, but we could not go to the floor area during the concert. If I had a known, I would of ordered tickets from the floor section. Last year, at the same place, we were able to go to different sections and it wasn't a problem. More strict this year. I know it is for safety reasons, but it sucked not being able to have more freedom to roam. I enjoyed the vendors and bought some really neat Rasta stuff! Had a wonderful time, besides the minor set back.

Ragga Muffins Festival the best concert ever!!!!!

by iatspoe on 2/28/11Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

This concert was the greatest concert ever. Normally whey you go to a concert, for the first hour or so you hear the hype man coming out talking bout you ready for whoever you going to see to perform. And then after all that time waiting they bring out the opening act and you have another hour. Well not this one. They said 5:30 they started at 5:30. And it was awesome from beginning to end. You haven't experienced good music a great time and a real concert until you go to a reggae concert. But the Ragga Muffins topped them all. Shalom!!
