The female performer was an unpleasant surprise.

It’s tough seeing Bucket playing backup for this current partnership. I’m not going to hate on new things, but this was not a great show for someone that’s accustomed to seeing an instrumental only act. Grateful that he came out and that we can still see him live..
I've seen Buckethead many times and always enjoy the show he puts on. For the last several tours, it's been just Bucket and some recorded backing tracks that shreds on top of. Recently, I made a comment to a friend how I'd wish he would come around with a "real"band. Well, he brought a band with him on this tour. The bass player and drummer were fine, nothing spectacular, they just did their thing. As the show went on, though, it became quite clear that Bucket was trying showcase the singer. That's fine, I think it's great when artists do that. I just wasn't super impressed with her voice and how her vibe worked with Buckethead. Bucket seemed to be holding back a lot of the show. And the last thing - Buckethead covering Rick Springfield ("Jessie's Girl") is not something I really needed to see. No offense to Rick, of course, that just didnt work for me personally. And "Rhiannon"by Fleetwood Mac. Love that tune but by Buckethead?! No thanks.
Thought the performances in both Boston and Portland Maine were absolutely amazing. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to see again!
I love Buckethead, but it would have been really great to hear some of his beautiful, mellower stuff. His catalog is huge, he could have included something moodier.....
Was so excited to see Buckethead, but the show felt like bait and switch, what we got was Buckethead playing guitar for some young girls lame band playing mostly cover songs and a few of his popular tracks. Felt very much like he was her "cool uncle that played guiter"being obligated to play her high school prom.
One of the greatest and most prolific artists of all time.
Amazing show ! Amazing guitar player That was a blast
The legend of Buckethead must not only be told, but heard firsthand. There is no other way around it.
Nothing ever comes close to Buckethead’s level of talent, energy and skills. He’s a guitar God🔥
There are no words for how amazing Buckethead is live. Bigger than life, better than anyone.
1st time I've seen Buckethead live & it was awesome! The Fillmore, as usual, had epic sound & I managed to snag a spot up at one of the few tables in the balcony section - which does not happen often. Aside from the very long delay waiting for the show to start (he didn't have an opening act, so it was almost 9p by the time he hit the stage) it was a great night overall, but that's the reason for 4 stars, instead of 5. I also had the roasted beet & arugula salad they had on the menu & have to say that was a pleasant & very tasty surprise to have as a food option.
I came all the way from the Netherlands for this concert. It was amazing! Hot! But blown away. Love the venue. Thanks for the apple 🍎 Thank you Bucket. ❤️🤍!!
Best live show I’ve ever seen. Please bring Buckethead back again to SF!
This was a great show. Everyone at the venue was very helpful.
Bucketheads sounds take me off world. This was my 55th Buckethead show, that's how much I am thoroughly impressed by his live performance. He is the best musician ever in my opinion.
I have been waiting for years to see Buckethead and finally had the chance to go see him. I traveled all the way from Texas and let me twll you, it was worth the trip. It was the loudest and most amazing concert I have ever been too. If you ever get a chance to see him live, GO!
He stood on stage with a KFC buctet and a mask, wearing a black robe. The first 2 songs were so redundant I was begging for them to end. Then it picked up a bit and he was shredding on the guitar. Then some really cool sound peddling. Then intermission and we left. Didn't stay for the second half 😕
Great performance. Incredibly different than any other show I have ever seen in my life. Buckethead played his set and the opening act as well. 3 hours of pure mastery without any words. How?? Only this man can pull it off with the strange and talent that kept the audience fired up and exploding with cheers and praise at the end of every number. Great show!
Such a dream come true to see Buckethead! Especially for the first show he’s played in years! Love you so much bucket! ⚡️💙👤
