    Brian Posehn was hilarious!

by B. L. on 6/20/21Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

His openers were very funny and a diverse group, I enjoyed everyone and had a nice laugh. Brian got up and had a great stage presence, got the crowd on his side quickly and started killing it! Would go again

by Merc with a Mouth on 9/23/19Neptune Theatre - Seattle

Posehn's show was AWESOME! Nostalgic, retro and full of real life nerdy fun. Best part was the meet & greet, after the show. Don't Stop Being NERDY!!!

    Brian was outstanding !

by comedyfan1000001 on 3/20/18Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Brian Posehn provided an all-around excellent performance on 3/16/2018 at Cobbs. His sometimes self-effacing humor was engaging and believable. Stand-up is one of the hardest jobs and he does it well. Particularly liked his run on the 2 words that cannot be used on college campuses.

Great show at a classic venue!

by JeffS83 on 3/20/18Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Brian Posehn was hilarious, as was his opening act. The venue is a classic SF institution and I actually got good service (which usually doesn't happen).

    Brian Posehn delivered the goods

by Yabu on 3/20/18Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

This was our 3rd time attending a comedy show at Cobb's since we made a New Year resolution to laugh more in 2018. Brian had us rolling in our seats and the staff at Cobb's was spot on as usual in making the evening comfortable. We will be back soon!

    Funny big man

by Joel707 on 3/19/18Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

This was my first time witnessing his standup. He did not disappoint. He had two openers. The first was okay. A few jokes landed, a few didn't. He was decent enough MC. The second act was fantastic. He really got the crowd going. Brian himself was an absolute joy. His material was witty, and dirty at the same time. Loved it. We had good seats, right up front. We did get there an hour early. That's how you do it. My main issue was that the two acts were really long, and Brian's set seemed really short. Otherwise, good show.

Brian Posehn never disappoints and all the openers were hysterical. My face and stomach actually hurt from laughing so hard. It is as amazing!

    Brian and Crew

by Kendude on 4/8/14Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Although the venue was a little small, Brian and his posse did a good job of overshadowing any shortcomings of this well known establishment and had a laughing from the word "Hey!"

Brian Posehn: as good live as on video

by CdL123 on 4/15/13Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Self-deprecating humor is right up my alley, and Brian Posehn's views and personal experiences of getting old are original and memorable, colored with ridiculous made up words and gritty language. He's easy to appreciate and want to see again.

    Excellent show!

by ksuz on 4/15/13Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Posehn is silly, gross and hilarious. I'm very glad I had this opportunity to see him in person. I'll definitely see him again the next time he's in the Bay Area.

Brian Posehn is a true fartist.

by Misslenlen on 4/13/13Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

This guy talked about farts for about half an hour. For some odd reason, I actually thought he was amazing! All the acts before were pretty funny as well. The entire show was self deprecation at its funniest.

brian posehn was the best standup show i've ever been too. i haven't been to a ton but i saw dave chapelle a few days before thinking that would be amazing and while pretty funny, it was no where near as hilarious as Posehn. go see him!

Kyle Kinane was awesome - get there early for him

by Metalhead1981 on 9/23/12Club Nokia - Los Angeles

The show we saw had 8 comedians. Brian Posehn and Pete Holmes were pretty entertaining, but Kyle Kinane completely stole the show. Highly recommended for him alone, while the other comedians made it a nice night.

I've been spoiled by good comedy venues

by JBWeeji on 12/12/11Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

I regularly visit the Improv to see stand-up comedy, so it took me by surprise that Brian Posehn was going to do it at the Culture Room. I don't think I'm ever going to see stand-up comedy at the Culture Room again. I saw Mitch Hedberg a few years ago at Revolution, and it was fine. For that show, they put out chairs, and I don't remember inhaling smoke the whole night, so I think that was fairly under control as well. At the Culture Room, there were no chairs, so we were all uncomfortably standing watching stand-up comedy, and cigarette smoke was billowing over the entire room. Brian put on a good show, but I wish he had chosen a venue better suited for what he does. Or maybe the Culture Room should have called Todd Glass for advice.
