Comedians weren’t that funny. Seating could be better. Felt sandwiched. Drinks sucked and overpriced. You guys should focus on the experience of your guests and the money will follow.
Once the show started I never stopped laughing. The staff were pros and never missed a beat. Can’t single out any comedian for special praise as they were all hilarious. I’m still laughing writing this three days later. Highly recommend attending the show case.
Sunday night comedy showcase at the Punchline always delivers the goods. Not only are you getting to enjoy some of the bay area's best up and coming comics, but you get to do so at a great price. Punchline has a great bar and wait staff, great food and cocktails. The show is earlier due to it being on a Sunday, having you out by 10pm. I can't say enough about how fun the Sunday showcase is, you never know who you'll see but it's guaranteed to be a great time. I can't wait to go back.
I felt the comedy was mediocre. The lady that I went with felt the same.
Punchline Comedy Showcase was a really enjoyable and entertaining experience. The lineup of comedians was excellent, and the venue was great. We will definitely do this again - thank you!
They saved the funny and more experienced comedians for the end which meant we paid $40 for tickets and another $50 for the two drink minimum to see about 20 minutes of funny comedy. I support up an coming, practicing comedians but I can see them for free any night of the week in the east bay. The comedy show case was over priced and a disappointment.
Some of the funniest comedy I've seen in several years. The show was a perfect intro to the Bay Area/SF comedy scene. Many acts of genius.
The showcase was awesome. We saw a wide range of comedians, 17 in total. The service was fantastic too.
