Over the course of crafting a 29-album catalog and architecting 40 Billboard #1 singles as a keyboardist, songwriter and producer, Brian Culbertson has charted his own unique course in music. Label him jazz and he makes a funk record. Call him an R&B artist and he drops an acoustic jazz trio collection. And you'd be hard pressed to name another instrumentalist of his ilk who can mount an elaborately designed concert production that will keep him on the road for three consecutive months.

Culbertson burst onto the scene in 1994 with a chart-topping album that he recorded in his college apartment featuring keyboard-led contemporary jazz tracks. Flash forward to present day, Culbertson has been going back and listening more and more to music that inspired him as a young musician such as David Sanborn, The Brecker Bros, Chick Corea, Al Jarreau, Pat Metheny & others in the jazz fusion world.

Whether you're listening to music from "Day Trip" on record or live in concert, you're hearing an eclectic, entertaining and engaging set from an artist at the peak of his power.

    I was not expecting the Brian Culbertson concert to be as amazing as it was! From the very first note, it was clear we were in for something special. His set list flowed perfectly, blending fan favorites, smooth jazz grooves, and upbeat funk that had the entire crowd on their feet. Brian’s connection with the audience was incredible. He didn’t just perform to us, he performed with us. His energy was infectious, his humor and storytelling made you feel part of the experience, and every band member brought their own spark to the stage. The chemistry among them was undeniable and elevated every song. The lighting, sound, and stage production were top-notch, but it was the vibe that made the night unforgettable, vibrant, joyful, and full of life. By the end of the show, we didn't want it to end. It wasn’t just a concert; it was a full-on musical experience that reminded me why live music is so powerful. Brian Culbertson and his band delivered pure entertainment from start to finish, definitely one of the best live performances I’ve seen in a long time!

    Brian is crazy gifted. He makes love on that keyboard WOW!!! When he brings out that Trumpet Whoa Wow!!! The band was cooking. The ENTIRE concert held my attention and it was invigorating. Greater than I expected. It's a must experience!!!

    Brian Culbertson is a phenom in his own right, but he's put together a band that is literally the best I've seen/heard live or otherwise in my life! They put on a long show without an intermission that had all of the elements that a concert could & should have. I'm a fan and now trying to get all of my music students to plan on going to see him the next time he comes to Akron!

    As always, Brian Culbertson and band did not disappoint! The music was on point. However, it was total entertainment; with dance moves, talk spots, lights, etc. As my grandkids would say, it was FIRE!

    This is our second time seeing Brian in Akron, Ohio. This time we purchased the VIP Experience! Brian is very personable he engaged with us, took group photo & individual pictures with us. I highly recommend anyone to go see him perform. His stage presence is awesome! The band was awesome too! Come to Cleveland, Ohio Brian! Thank you for a phenomenal show!!!

    Outside of the construction all around the Civic Center the event was well worth the cost and the parking inconvenience. Itl was cold outside and hot on the inside from the HIGH ENERGY Brian Culbertson and company performance. A night to be remembered of EXPLOSIVE ENTERTAINMENT. I enjoyed it!! WOW WOW WOW...

    If you are a fan of Brian Culbertsons music, you will not be disappointed. All the musicians are super talented in their own right. Performing together they were even greater than the sum of their talents. A must-see show for any fan - amazing to see the live performance. These artists don’t need a studio.     Twelve piece band! Amazing brass section! Brian was greater than words can express. He never disappoints. My husband and I have traveled to 8 concerts this year. This was the best by far. Two hours of non stop music! I didn’t want it to end.
