Over the course of crafting a 29-album catalog and architecting 40 Billboard #1 singles as a keyboardist, songwriter and producer, Brian Culbertson has charted his own unique course in music. Label him jazz and he makes a funk record. Call him an R&B artist and he drops an acoustic jazz trio collection. And you'd be hard pressed to name another instrumentalist of his ilk who can mount an elaborately designed concert production that will keep him on the road for three consecutive months.
Culbertson burst onto the scene in 1994 with a chart-topping album that he recorded in his college apartment featuring keyboard-led contemporary jazz tracks. Flash forward to present day, Culbertson has been going back and listening more and more to music that inspired him as a young musician such as David Sanborn, The Brecker Bros, Chick Corea, Al Jarreau, Pat Metheny & others in the jazz fusion world.
Whether you're listening to music from "Day Trip" on record or live in concert, you're hearing an eclectic, entertaining and engaging set from an artist at the peak of his power.
Parking was easy. Show started on time. Majestic theater staff were very helpful and the place was clean. Brian and his band are excellent musicians and very entertaining. We were totally satisfied. Hopefully Brian Culbertson will return because we’ll be the 1st to purchase tickets.

This was the 3th time I saw Brian Culbertson and every time he put on a outstanding show. He is one of the best that every done it trust me.
Fantastic show! - From the sound, lighting, outfits, music selections etc. if you are able please attend. Packed house! Almost a two hour show that went by fast. Thoroughly enjoyed. Ticket prices were reasonable.
Fantastic! Brians dad was my wife’s music teacher in Decatur Illinois. His talent is off the charts and he will put a smile on your face that lasts the whole show

Absolutely fantastic show delivered by Brian Culbertson and band at the Majestic Theater!?! I absolutely love that venue! There is truly no bad seat in the house. BC is a showman extraordinaire and last Friday's performance did not disappoint! The show was electric and not only the exceptional talent of BC, but also that of several of his band members was on full display! I love that every band member has their moment to shine and share their God given talents! Congrats to BC and Nicholas Cole on the Day Trip project which as I understand was produced in days....the supernatural culmination of genius, talent of years of hard work and dedication to their craft. Well done gentlemen!
The Seats are hard and to close together, But The concert was Okay.
Brian Culbertson does not disappoint, he and his amazingly talented band are wonderful entertainers. Very enjoyable and great music! Brian’s piano playing is second to none!
Brian never disappoints!!! My husband and I buy our tickets fast when he comes to Dallas, Texas. He brings the fire to every show. If you enjoy smooth jazz, you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to see him again, and again, and again!!!

I love me some Brian, so we seen that he was going to be in my city I purchased my ticket asap. And he didn't disappoint, from the music selection to his all the way live Band . I couldn't stop dancing and rocking. The energy was on 10... If you can have an opportunity to see Brian and his Band run and purchase the tickets.. The best live concert ever!!!!
Once again, Brian slayed. I've seen him perform at least 15 times and every time he's better than the last time. Great music, high energy talented band members... he brings it all and leaves no crumbs. You never want the show to end. It's that fantastic! If you've never seen Brian perform, run the next time he's in your town. He is worth every penny you pay to see him.
