About

Boys Like Girls are a pop-rock band that formed in 2005. The quartet skyrocketed up the charts with anthemic singles like “The Great Escape” and “Love Drunk,” with the latter’s accompanying music video featuring High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale. Their two breakthrough singles were followed by a sweeping emo-tinged ballad featuring Taylor Swift, “Two Is Better Than One,” which helped the band’s second album (2009’s Love Drunk) land in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200. In 2012, the band’s frontman Martin Johnson began writing/producing music for everyone from blink-182 to Avril Lavigne, leading to Boys Like Girls going on hiatus (reforming sporadically to tour between 2016 and 2020). In May 2023, the band released “Blood and Sugar,” the first single from their upcoming fourth album and their first new song in over a decade.

  • Amazing, like usual

by Macy on 10/1/23The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - IrvingRating: 5 out of 5

Such an amazing concert and line up. Boys like girls have always known how to work a crowd and they really got us all going! I felt like I was teleported back to 2008 with all the the amazing throwbacks. Venue was clean, comfortable, and cool (not hot, which is huge for this area! ) lovely staff and very helpful

  • What an amazing concert!

I always try to see Boys Like Girls when they're in town and every time I see them it's like I'm seeing them again for the first time! I love the energy, the raw vocals, and lastly the connection they make with us when they git the stage and they always nail it for me every single time.

  • An A+ show

by Raineycloud on 9/30/23Bayou Music Center - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

All of the bands hit. I’d never even heard of the opener before and now I’m subscribed and playing her stuff on repeat. It was a great time from start to finish.

  • Amazing Venue! Awesome Band!!

by Vanessa on 9/30/23Bayou Music Center - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

Omg the Bayou Music Center is such an amazing venue! The Acoustics are insane!! Whether your General Admission or up above in the seating area, you got a great spot to enjoy the band(s)!! Boys Like Girls was awesome! I have been listening to them since '06 and cannot believe I have had the chance to see them live!!!

  • Back to high school

by Derrick on 9/30/23Bayou Music Center - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

What a show. They sound amazing live. Hope they continue to tour in the future

  • Great Show waiting 12 Years!

by SRS on 9/29/23Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

BLG were awesome. Great venue and the energy of the band was fed off and into the crowd. They played all the hits, interacted with the crowd, and killed it. Go see them!

  • Better than memories!

by Adri on 9/28/23House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Happy to see Boys Like Girls for a second time, this time in; The Speaking our Language tour! First time in the When We Were Young Festival, last year and now back home in Orlando. Amazing set list and live presentation. With three great openers, BLG killed like they do! Also House of Blues always amazing to host events, had a great one.

  • A bit squashed

by Nickki on 9/28/23House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Obvi this was a lit concert. But tbh they deserved a bigger venue. When BLG went on they BLEW out the sound system multiple times. House of Blues couldn’t contain their loud music.

  • Great show

by Ally on 9/28/23House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Always a great performance. Well organized event. 10/10

  • Makes up for not being able to see them when I was younger

by Rin on 9/27/23Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Finally getting to see boys like girls live after all these years was amazing. They sang a good mix of there old songs with a few of there new ones mixed in. Their stage presents, commentary and the crowd participation was all amazing. They sang great escape twice once for everyone to record and the scond time with all phones put away and just them and the crowd sing our hearts out and just being in the moment it is something i will never forget. After the show they meet with fans by their tour bus to sign some autographed take pictures and talk with fans. They were all so nice and i will 100% see them again when given the chance!

  • Great music, iffy venue

by CB on 9/26/23Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 4 out of 5

BLG and openers were great. Most bad was for the venue, Revolution in Ft. Lauderdale. Was able to be in the center pit area. I’m not sure if this was everyone’s first concert in a while but people severely lacked awareness. (Example: people tossing crowd surfers onto attendees who weren’t aware and fists flying when moshing). Security at the venue didn’t have enough presence to squash it and other attendees ended up breaking things up or explaining etiquette. Music was great, played all the favorites and some new stuff. Only bad I can say about BLG was them telling people in the pit to pack in tighter. It was about 90 degrees in the venue and I saw a bunch of people go down from the heat- not exactly the best time to have people pack in tighter. Overall great night, I’d see them again but I’d opt for a different venue next time.

  • Amazing concert

by Estrella on 9/26/23Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

They were amazing the best concert ever I waiting so long to see Boys like Girls Live.

  • Too hot

by Kmg on 9/26/23Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 1 out of 5

I’ve been going to Revolution Live for years. I have never needed to leave a show because of how hot it was in there until this show. I was not in the pit and I was fully drenched in sweat. It was cooler outside in Fort Lauderdale, than it was in the venue. I was very disappointed

  • Best night ever

by Bubbles on 9/23/23Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

This is the first time I’ve been to the tabernacle for a concert. I enjoyed how small the venue was; the acoustic’s were really nice in this building. I have seen boys like girls back in 2009 or 2010 at the old masquerade. So to finally see them live again made me feel like I was 18 again!

  • NOSTALGIC!

by Ivy on 9/22/23Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

It was such a great show! I never thought I’d get to see Boys Like Girls again, but they’re back and better than ever ❤️.

  • THE BEST SHOW OF MY ENTIRE LIFE

by catori on 9/22/23Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

It could be the nostalgia, but quite honestly, this band has the pep and also the angst you need at any age or stage in your life. The energy at Atlanta's show was superior (like TSwiftlevel - i also went to that show). They made it clear they were happy to be back, acknowledged their fans, and just had a great time getting back on stage! Sincerely, I cannot believe I got to see them live but knowing every song lyric without question. You danced, you cried and you glistened....that could also be the GA heat 😅. Love you BOYS LIKE GIRL: teenage angst forever!!!

  • Awesome Concert!!!

    by Steve10 on 9/22/23Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Great time at Boys Like Girls in Atlanta. My favorite Band. Always make it a blast. ❤️

  • Incredible show, Lølø as the opener made it so!

by Silver on 9/21/23Brooklyn Bowl Nashville - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Incredible energy that I personally feel was kicked off by their incredible choice of opener. Her stage presence was so electric the crowd had no choice but to get hype!

  • Loved it

by Kait on 9/21/23Brooklyn Bowl Nashville - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Such an amazing concert. I felt like I was back seeing them like when I was in middle school.

  • Best show ever

by Nancy on 9/21/23Brooklyn Bowl Nashville - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5
