About
Boys Like Girls are a pop-rock band that formed in 2005. The quartet skyrocketed up the charts with anthemic singles like “The Great Escape” and “Love Drunk,” with the latter’s accompanying music video featuring High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale. Their two breakthrough singles were followed by a sweeping emo-tinged ballad featuring Taylor Swift, “Two Is Better Than One,” which helped the band’s second album (2009’s Love Drunk) land in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200. In 2012, the band’s frontman Martin Johnson began writing/producing music for everyone from blink-182 to Avril Lavigne, leading to Boys Like Girls going on hiatus (reforming sporadically to tour between 2016 and 2020). In May 2023, the band released “Blood and Sugar,” the first single from their upcoming fourth album and their first new song in over a decade.

by mini0mohawk on 7/2/09House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimI had never heard The Ready Set, but now I'm going to check them out. I thought Never Shout Never didn't fit with the other bands playing. That part wasn't very enjoyable, but after they played alot of people left and we got up close to see Boys Like Girls. They were fantastic. They put on a very entertaining show, and holy snap that drummer was amazing. I would most definitely go to this show again.

by kassiec on 7/2/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheimi took my little sis and her friend to see this show. it was just amazing. all the bands put on a really great show. i havent been that entertained in a long time. boys like girls came out for and encore. i have never been to a show like this. i was very impressed!!!!!!

I loved his bra collecting scheme though :) that was hilarious. Panties? who would think of those? It was a stunning performance. i have to say that the boys like girls did the best out of all of them. And the blond guy (sorry i dont know your name!!) was so hottt! i would love to relive that day. It was just amazingg. To those who threw their bras, you made my day :)
