Bootsy Collins Tickets

The show began with a great interview of Bootsy, starting from his childhood to playing with James Brown, George Clinton and on to his solo career. When a cut was played from his new album "JB-Still The Man" people were dancing on their chairs. Bootsy later performed some of his signature bass lines and then Thee Ram Jam and two of his students from The Funk University joined in. I recently joined The Funk University and have found it to be a wealth of knowlege.

The event started a few minutes late but it was unforgetable. I spoke with Steve Goldman after the event told him how nice this is in addition to the museum which I have been to 3 times before.
