Bluesy singer/songwriter Bonnie Raitt has worked long and hard for her multiple Grammy Awards, hit singles and chart-topping records. Since her 1971 eponymous debut, the California-born performer and long-time activist has steadily maintained a music career, albeit with definite peaks and valleys. The red-headed songstress, one of the only women of her time to play guitar using the bottleneck technique, unleashed seven albums in just nine years, though her big commercial break came with her 10th studio set, 1989’s “Nick of Time.” That 11-track collection, produced by Don Was, earned three Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.
Not only has the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer tackled multiple U.S. tours and international runs, but she’s also a frequent participant in events of social activism, such as Farm Aid and Amnesty International concerts.
Raitt’s 16th full-length album and most recent studio release, “Slipstream,” hit retailers in 2012. Not only did ticket sales for the support tour soar, but Raitt also landed the best-selling blues album of the year and took home the Grammy for Best Americana Album.

Had a good time. Ms. Raitt is still amazing. Her voice is strong.
Parking was pleasantly close to the venue. Good was reasonable priced. Merchandise was affordable. Roy Rogers was a wonderful opening act. Bonnie was awesome!
Bonnie Raitt is a national treasure, still plays and sounds amazing! She shows no sign of slowing down and it's to all of our benefit that she won't! Her beauty and crystal clear voice are timeless, thanks for an absolutely unforgettable evening!
The parking issue was a nightmare. I do hope that when I attend my next concert in October at this venue, that is resolved. The venue needs a big screen to see the performers up close. That was disappointing.
What a great concert! She’s simply an Outstanding musician, both vocally and instrumentally. The band was great as well. I’ve always loved her music, but I love her more as a person now that I’ve experienced her show. She’s one in a million. I would definitely see her again.
Bonnie always brings a good show. It never gets old. Roy Rodgers opening was an unexpected treat and we’ve been listening to his music at home now that we’ve been introduced. But the venue is set up so getting in and out of seats is awkward, and people get so caught in the difficulty of parking downtown that many are inevitably late and interrupt the show and everyone there to get to their seats. We had the misfortune to sit near some particularly rude people, a situation not helped by sales of popcorn and alcohol. It was a lot like an arena sport experience with a better band. I will see Bonnie wherever she performs, but I don’t like this venue. Friends we invited who love Bonnie Raitt declined to attend because of the venue.
Bonnie can out play and out sing just about anyone
I've been enjoying Bonnie Raitt's music since the 1970s. Her vocals are still incredible and her guitar playing is slick. This concert was an eclectic blend of her tunes, and she honored many others. Rock on Bonnie Raitt! I love her, but hate the ticketmaster app!!
I have seen Bonnie perform several times over the years and every time she puts on a fabulous show! This time did not disappoint. Loved the show, loved Bonnie's honesty and candor. Keep playing and sharing your love!
Set was Perfect. Bonnie is as always absolutely Perfect! Her band was spot on! My only thought was that the long pause for set after her opening act seemed unnecessary. I could have had her band just play for an hour before or during her performance. My ears are getting old, but the house speakers seemed lacking in the highs and mid range. I could have heard her play slide guitar for 12 hours. She is a Master!
Great show! She is on top of her game. The band was tight & the set list superb. Keep up the phenomenal performance.
It was great to see Bonnie still alive and kicking strong! She has remained timeless and it was a real pleasure hearing all her old songs and some new ones, as well. The venue at the Financial Theatre was perfect. We had tickets just off the floor and it was like getting your own personal concert. Bonnie had a great warm up with Roy Rogers. His duo later with Bonnie on slide guitars was awesome! We would highly recommend that everyone should make plans to see one of Bonnie's concerts. Her voice is as strong as it ever was and she looks great! Her stories are amazing and it feels just like she's just having a friendly conversation with you. Thank you, Miss Bonnie, you are a legend!
As usual, and not at all surprising this was a great night of music. She connects with her audiences in a very personal way. Glad that I went to this show and the three others I’ve been to in the past! She never disappoints.
Bonnie is so fabulously dynamic performer we so enjoyed the show! I saw her at Red Rocks in Colorado 2013 I think! Thank you so much for your music!
We've been fans of Bonnie Raitt sinde the 70's. She was engaging, often funny, sang a lot of great oldies we know, and some that we didn't. The band was fantastic as well, and the sound mix was excellent. She packed the place, and everyone showed their appreciation for her and the band. Great concert experience - as opposed to some HUGE venues where the lead act is often a pin dot, and the music unbearably loud. Not the case here. Perfect size venue with no really bad (nose bleed) seats. Really enjoyed it.
I believe she was even better than when I saw her 40+ years ago:)!
It’s not a surprise that Bonnie Raitt sold out the 5,000 seats at the Arizona Financial. I saw her at college when she was just starting out. Now a music icon with 13 Grammys, she still has her voice with its amazing range. Loved the concert!
We are senior citizens which is not your problem. We paid 55+ for parking which was handled by ticketmaster. Parking was near Chase field in a poorly lit sketchy area. It was 1.7 miles to the venue. If those are the only accom.odations, it would be considerate to advise customers of the distance and area where car is parked. Old people should not be wandering in that area at 11 30 at night.
At 75, Bonnie is still a powerhouse. Her voice is as strong as ever, and the guitar playing is always phenomenal. I’ve been going to her concerts for many decades, and she never disappoints.
First time seeing Bonnie Raitt and I was blown away by how good she and her band were. What an amazing group of musicians and the sound was excellent. Loved it.
