The entire show was great beginning with Mel Waiter's outstanding performance to the Bobby Womack closing.
All In all the show was pretty good. The only real beef was the volume level of the music. It was too loud...so much so that you had difficulity hearing the main character. It started on time, which is quite commendable, and you surely got enough hours for your money. As I stated, pretty good, just too much volume.
The concert was great. The blues sure puts you in different moods. I love the blues. Bobby Womack is my favorite. The Manhattans looked great. I enjoyed the other two acts as well. I would definitely go to another Blues concert.
This show was worth every penny. And, I thought Bobby Womack was going to sing all night--:). They were all outstanding--Bobby, the Manhattans, Mel Waiters, Clarence Carter--I would pay to see them all again.
I had not seen the Manhattans in years and from seeing this performance, they still got it. They were excellent!! Mel Waiters put on an outstanding show as well as did Clarence Carter and Bobby Womack.
This concert was one of the best concerts I ever attended. I will pay to see this same concert again, that's how great it was. The atmosphere was great and the stars was so nice and pleasant. They put on a GREAT show...love it, love it, love it.
This was by far one of the greatest concerts I have ever attended. The Manhattens, Bobby Womack, Mel Waiters, and Clarence Carter, all did an excellent job. The performances for exciting, heart warming, and entertaining.
The show was great, especially Bobby Womack. I have seen Bobby Womack numerous times before, but, this was the first time I have ever seen him so engaged with his audience. I guess aging brings about a change for the better. The Manhattans were more than what I had expected. They are still the ultimate professionals with their sound, dress, and moves. Love Them! First time I had seen Clarence Carter live, can't believe that this man still has this abundance of energy. He never allowed you to sit down and relax, he just kept you on your feet. Mel whatever, or whoever he is I felt was out of his element. We had true legends from R&B and the Blues genre performing with what appeared to be a local-yocal. He just was not on their level. Everyone appeared to enjoy him, I just couldn't get with him and his style. Too honky tonky for me.
The concert was incredible and awesome much love..
Clarence Carter opened the show and it was hard to believe that he is in his eighties and sounds and looks good... everyone was on their game that night... Love Bobby Womack... the night was truly a classical event.
