BMW does an outstanding job at customer and fan appreciation- great job on concession and merchandising stands, food and VIP events - well done
I COULD NOT ATTEND DUE TO THE VERY EARLY START TIMES. LOUSY WEATHER PLANNING. IT NEVER RAINED AT ALL IN THE AFTERNOON. ALSO, YOUR PARKING PLANS WERE EQUALLY SHODDY. OAKS, REALLY. IT APPEARS THAT YOU MADE ADDITIONAL PARKING PLANS (GREAT VALLEY COMPLEX OFF OF RT 202), BUT NEVER COMMUNICATED IT. AWFUL JOB BY ALL INVOLVED. A REFUND WOULD BE APPROPRIATE.
Great time, recommend to all for an exciting day. Please take the time to enjoy life to the fullest
We have been to a lot of tournaments all over the world. This tour was good but there are two areas that needed improvement. First, the food. The selection of food was poor both in the trophy club area and BMW area. The second area was the merchandise tent. There were not enough checkout areas. People in very long lines. Poor planning here. On the positive side, BMW handled their parking lot and bus to course very efficiently.
Tournament was great. Transportation from parking lot was not. Getting on a school bus with no A/C with heat index of 100+ was not what I was expecting.
We got tickets for Friday - after the broiling heat and before the torrential rains! Ticketmaster kept us updated on start times and everything we needed to know to make this an unforgettable experience. The event was really incredible -I’ve been to other golf events but BMW rises way above the norm. Facilities were incredible and I cant imagine how the setup took place. We were all very impressed. Got to see all the players up close! Better than TV!
Beautiful event. Weather was only downer. The event staff did a great job with the setup. Plenty of concessions and facilities. The shuttle to and from parking was well staffed, but parking was too far, Should have a nearby option. Overall great experience!
Constant change of tee times, paid $600 for two days of tickets saw one hour of golf. They will never get another dime nor will I watch the fedex cup again. Total disaster and poor management.
Don't count on receiving a text message on your phone when tee times change! I had 2 Trophy Club tickets for Friday. I signed up for text messages but was not informed when Friday tee times were moved up by 4+ hours to 7 am due to the weather forecast. (I did get an email notice, but I didn't check my email because I had signed up for text messages.) So I I walked on the course at 11:30 and saw roughly 2 hours of golf. My Trophy Club tickets were worthless because I sat in the GA seats in order to see the final groups. My son and I went to the Trophy Club after play ended to have lunch, but the food was mediocre. Anyway, the venue was good, but it was difficult to get to the driving range. The shuttle buses from the Greater Philly Expo Center were old school buses and were very uncomfortable. The BMW Championship web site was slow and didn't work well on Google Chrome. Overall, my son and I were very disappointed. I understand that changes in the weather can affect scheduling, but I counted on being informed.
Great venue and amazing exposure to the top players in the world.
The event was very unorganized and the food/drink selection was horrible. I was there for the second day of the tournament and already they were sold out of staple items like beer. Multiple locations were also sold out of almost half the food on the menu to the point we had a hard time finding lunch. Ive been to PGA Championships, US Opens and Masters a few times. The difference in quality here was clear.
I was very impressed with the course condition and layout. The volunteers were very helpful and courteous. We enjoyed great close up views of the golfers and felt like part of the tournament. Too bad Mother Nature didn't hold off the rain. Overall, the BMW event at Aronimink was a great venue. Us Pennsylvanians, and particularly those of us in the greater Philadelphia area are starving for mor PGA tournament venues to come to our area. We have a great golfing fan base here in Philly and would continue to support both the PGA and the Champions tour whenever they plan to hold venues here in the future. I believe I speak for all my fellow local fans. Thanks again for a great tournament. Mike
We enjoyed the tournament. The buses ran smoothly, just took so long to get there, 45 minutes from parking to event, with morning traffic. I would recommend more signs to show the hole numbers,,,,, plenty of crossing signs, but not holes. This would help navigating your way quicker.
The tournament along with all of its amenities was an excellent experience,,well done given all the weather issues
Unless you knew about the lack of parking, you were destined to a 3/4 mile walk from an off site homeowner. We drove in from out of town for the day with a free parking pass, however, the location of the parking was unclear until the local police officer told us it was a significant bus (or Uber) ride away. We would have gladly paid for VIP parking if it were available, or if we were informed about preferred parking on line. Enough complaining. Once inside, the course, the venue, the volunteers were all fantastic. An excellent experience.
The golf course and facilities were excellent! All the Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only issue was the transportation to and from the course.
Venue was great. Reasonably easy to walk around. Weather made schedule difficult to follow.
Friday changed tee times? I"m unnotified. Glanced Tiger at 18
Great golf event presentation. Shuttle delivery to the course and all that were assisting at the course were gracious hosts. What an impressive event.
