  • Not Enough Blues

    by hjr646 on 7/17/23Rating: 2 out of 5

Big Head Todd and The Monsters was amazing; however, Blues Traveler was not. It was more like a jam session than them singing. They played six or seven songs, and two of them were covers. They only played for about 45 minutes, announced they played until curfew and walked off the stage 14 minutes before curfew. If it wasn’t for the friends we were with, the venue and Big Head Todd and the Monsters, the night would have been a complete waste of time.

  • Not the best

by No name on 7/17/23Rating: 2 out of 5

Blues Traveler was disappointing. They barely played for an hour and 1/ 2 of that time was spent playing music from other artists. I wanted to hear their music, not songs from another band. Big waste of $60

  • Big Head Todd was great, Blues Traveler were not

by jody on 7/17/23Rating: 1 out of 5

Big Head Todd played for 90+ minutes in the brutal heat and was really great. Blues Traveler took an hour to come on stage (it had cooled off by then). The venue must stop playing at 10pm, they took the stage at 9:35. They played one song and John Popper left the stage. The band jammed pretty badly for 15 minutes, he came back, played one song and left again. He came back 5 minutes later and played one song, left again. By this time the crowd was leaving. He came back for the last song before the venue had to close. Not worth seeing, even the jamming was disjointed. Disappointed

  • Not happy

by Grateful on 7/17/23Rating: 2 out of 5

The warm up band was amazing and played for around 1 hour 45 minutes. Then there was a big break, and finally BT got on the stage around 9:15. The venue has a curfew at 10:15, so they only had 1 hour to play. Then with such a short amount of time, they did not play many of their hits, the set was more about featuring the bassist and drummer. This was a very disappointing show.

  • Blues Traveler

by BG on 7/17/23Rating: 1 out of 5

They waited to long to come out and play. It was very hot and the fans were left sitting in the heat. They played for a short time. They didn’t play many of the hits. They didn’t engage with a crowd and left with no encore. Big Head Todd was great!!!

  • Big Head Todd was Awesome, Blues Travelers was not

    by Anna B on 7/17/23Rating: 2 out of 5

Big head Todd and the monsters were great. Played all their great songs, sounded really good, and performed for a long time. Waited 45 minutes for blues traveler to come on stage. They only played their own songs Hook and But Anyways, and then covers of Tom Petty and Charlie Daniels band. Other than that, they just jammed the whole time. They came late and played for only 45 minutes. Super disappointing!

  • Blues Traveler Sucked!!

by AJ on 7/17/23Rating: 1 out of 5

Big Head Todd was great. Blues Traveler sucked. Came on at 9:20 & played till 10:30 - not even an hour. John Popper left the stage like 6 times and the band just had a jam session while he was off for about 10 minutes each time. They were extremely loud and annoying. We left early and felt like we got ripped off. They also played 2 cover tunes while we were there - Cover tunes! I would ask for my money back if I knew it would do any good. Would never go see them again. Sucked sucked sucked. They should be called the Blew Traveler because they blew.

  • Boring, Uninspired

by DAL on 7/17/23Rating: 1 out of 5

Time enough for a drum solo and a bass solo, but no time to play “Runaround”?!?!? Weak effort by BT.

  • Disappointed

by Sage on 7/17/23Rating: 3 out of 5

Didn’t play any of the songs we all know except “Hook” at the very end when everyone was leaving.

  • Pretty good.

by Ss on 7/17/23Rating: 4 out of 5

It was great until… took forever to change over to blue traveler set, then at 10:20, he abruptly ended his set saying that they hit curfew. His opener played for nearly 2 hours, he played 45 minutes. It was somewhat disappointing.

  • Not Impressed

    by Ger219 on 7/17/23Rating: 1 out of 5

The show was disappointing. Change over from Big Head Todd and the Monsters took forever and the band started later then we would have expected. At one point it appeared the band forgot what they were playing and huddled for a while before playing the next song. Popper kept leaving the stage throughout the performance and left the band to play. Then at the end of the night they just walked off the stage with a "we hit curfew"comment. Opening act Big Head Todd jammed way more then Blues Traveler and carried the night.

  • Sad!

by SassyD on 7/17/23Rating: 3 out of 5

So disappointed with Blues Traveler! 6 songs? I realize there is a curfew at the botanical garden, but what took them so long to come out on the stage? Paid $65 for a concert and all I saw was big head Todd and the monsters? Very disappointed…

  • Very disappointed in Blues Traveler's Boise Show

by JFey on 7/17/23Rating: 1 out of 5

BT only played 5 songs, we were covers. Way to much on the harmonica solo's. The only entertaining part of their show was the energy of the bass player, and when Big Head Todd came back on stage. In my nearly 50 years of concert-going, this was the worst performance ever.

  • I'm still not sure how to feel about this show

by Nat on 7/17/23Rating: 3 out of 5

Show was supposed to start at 7. BHT&tM came on about 7:30 and played till 9. They were great. BT came on at 9:30. The music was good, they played 2 covers and several extended "jams"and were of the stage at 10:20. It felt incomplete. I want to see BT play BT, not a cover of Devil Went Down to Georgia.

  • Disappointed

    by Musiclove1232 on 7/17/23Rating: 1 out of 5

Big Head Todd and the Monsters played for 90 minutes. They played well and put in a good show. There was about a 45 min wait before Blues Traveler came on stage. They played for about 40 minutes total. The lead singer kept leaving the stage (maybe he was ill?). They’re great musicians, but didn’t play very many songs. I expected the headlining band to play for at least an hour.

  • Disappointing

by RB on 7/17/23Rating: 1 out of 5

The opening act was close to two hours long, which left Blues Traveler an hour to perform. Being the lead performer, it was disappointing. The crowd sensed the same, since after BT’s first few songs, there was a steady stream of people out of the venue.

  • They phoned it in

by Kara on 7/17/23Rating: 3 out of 5

The band started late and ended early due to city curfew. They played 4 or 5 songs, two of them were covers, and two of their hits. Disappointing to pay for the show and wait around for them to play for only 35 minutes of music. They sounded great though.

  • Blues Traveler jams on.....

by Rickg on 5/24/23Harrah's Resort Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

The boys did not disappoint! Great set. Prompt start. No warm up band. Kicked arse!!!

  • Fun night of good music!

by jjo322 on 5/24/23Harrah's Resort Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I are a casual fans of Blues Traveler and decided to give the Harrah's show a shot as a kickoff to our summer of live events. We know the radio hits and were set to sit through songs die-hard fans know to get to the ones we know. What a treat. Great energy, fun covers and amazing musicianship. Blues Traveler is a fun "jam band" that blew us away. Thanks for a great night,

by KG on 5/23/23Harrah's Resort Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 2 out of 5

It was less than an hour and a half, they barely sang, and what they did sing was minimal in terms of their popular songs. We saw them 5 years ago and it was awesome. This concert was very disappointing.
