Much better than I expected and brought back the total experience of high school and life in the 90’s when I first heard these two bands
Paid too much for the tickets for the not pleasurable experience had to have the warm-up band sing because the lead singer had no voice very disappointed
Big Head Todd was great. But then, almost and hour went by and no Blue's Travelers. When they did come on, lead had lost his voice. They did the best they could to play a set, but it was pretty disappointing 😞
Not your fault. Wife had to have unexpected surgery. Tried to sell tickets to no avail. Really wanted to go ..
I really liked both Bands - Blues Traveler (BT) and Big Head Todd and the Monsters (BHTM)! Unfortunately my wife had a blazing headache and we had to leave early - during BT! What a bummer! I had to take my wife home, I would not expect her to sit their so uncomfortable. Anyway BHTM was great and was impressed in the guitar virtuoso of Todd, wow! The Band is very good overall as well. Quite the musicians and took pride in what they presented! Well done! Poor John Popper of BT, he had quite a slow start because of some type of throat thing going on that made his voice at first sound like Mickey Mouse or something close to that. It was definitely not his fault! This dud e can sing! I heard from a trusted source that the shot kicked in about an hour into the Show and he and the band played for another 30 minutes or so and it was outstanding! I am now more bummed than before, not really! It was still a great show for the 30 to 40 minutes I got to see BT! Love my wife and I loved BTHM and BT!! Thank you to both bands for giving it their all, especially Todd and John! Rock on!
Really good show. HUGE BT fan and even though John Poppers voice was shot Todd came out and played with them. It was awesome. Never new Big Head Todd could play the blues like that! We had a great time even though it was 100 degrees outside. Would see them again for sure!
Big Head Todd was awesome! Blues Travelers should have not even taken the stage.
Blues traveler played a couple of songs but the lead singer lost his voice and so they didn't play all of their songs. It was quite a disappointment
Before Blues Traveler came on, everyone waited longer than should have but eventually the band came out on stage, you could barely hear his voice. At first we thought, cancellation, then you could hear we're going to give it a shot! It was amazing, never another set like that night as Big Head Todd and the Monsters joined them and created a musical evening to enjoy. Great thanks to all for finishing the entire show and playing outstanding music through the night!
We were really looking forward to this concert. Big Head Todd did not disappoint. They sounded great and we enjoyed that part of the show. However, Blues Travelers lead singer had lost his voice. Felt sorry for him and the band but it was disappointing. They played several covers and very few actual Blues Travelers songs. The lead did try to sing a few songs but those too were covers. Again, i feel bad he had this issue (and he did too) but it was not a great experience for the audiance.
I was really excited to see Blues Traveler, but I was ready to leave after the second song. I'm not sure if the sound was off or his voice, but it didn't sound like them at all. I watched A LOT of people leaving within a few songs with the Blues Traveler as well. However, Big Head Todd and The Monsters we so much better than I anticipated! I love the venue. It was a great night to sit outside and listen to music, good or bad.
Really enjoyed Big Head Todd and the Monsters. Blues Travelers was excellent, but would have liked them to play longer than 1:15.
Big Head Todd and the Monsters were incredible. They were energetic, engaged the crowd and we really enjoyed their music. We primarily came to see Blues Traveler and they were such a disappointment. They barely performed and really only played 2 songs. The rest of the time was just instrumental fill ins.
It seems the Blues Travelers may have had a couple too many before taking the stage. Their rendition of Tom Perry’s “Last Dance” was embarrassing. We thoroughly enjoyed Big Head Todd but left after 5 Blues Traveler songs.
Blues Traveler sounded great. The two separate long jam sessions were odd as Popper left the stage for 5-10 minutes while the rest of the band jammed free form. More songs would have been better, they certainly have a deep enough catalogue. If there was a reason for the long jam sessions, sharing that with the audience would have helped.
Great show. Great Venue. Great nite to be out, in MN.
Blues traveler was my first cassette tape as a girl and I saw them when I was 12. Getting to see them live again at 35 was a dream and they sounded even better than I could have hoped. Thank you!!
Too many solos, didn’t play long, barely played their own songs. I was rather disappointed.
Big Head Todd was awesome. Blues traveler was very disappointing. I wasn’t there to listen to bass solo’s, drum solo’s or to listen to the guitar player try to cover Tom Petty. I’m not sure if they even played 6 Blues Traveler songs. So disappointing. Great venue…wish Blues Traveler (John Popper) was up to the task. I wouldn’t go see them again. I wish I only had the memories of them from 25 years ago.
Went to see Big Head Todd, et al and Blues Traveler. Really enjoyed Big Head Tood.
