Blue October are an alternative rock band originally from Houston, Texas. Led by brothers Justin Furstenfeld and Jeremy Furstenfeld and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Delahoussaye since their formation in 1995, Blue October has released 11 studio albums, with their latest, Spinning the Truth Around, split into three volumes unveiled between 2022 and 2024. Following initial chart success from their 2003 single “Calling You,” Blue October’s fourth album Foiled (2006) broke the band into the mainstream with back-to-back platinum-certified singles “Hate Me” and “Into the Ocean.” Foiled became the group’s first effort to chart on the Billboard 200 and kicked off a series of six consecutive Top 10 full-length releases on the Top Rock Albums chart, including No. 1 debuts for Any Man in America (2011) and Home (2016). The band has logged 13 Top 40 singles on the Alternative Airplay chart such as 2008’s “Dirt Room,” 2018’s “I Hope You’re Happy” and 2024’s “Everything We Lost In the Fire."

Amazing show, they played entire new album track1 to the end!!! Would definetely go again!!!!!!
The show at Sunset Station on June 12 with Blue October was absolutely amazing. The energy of the band was contagious, the setlist great, and the accoustics were great for an outside show. I have seen Blue many times, and the intimacy of this venue made the show even more enjoyable. I of course chose to be front and center in the stagefront action, but for those who wanted a great view without the claustrophobia The Station offered nice alternatives. The misters and fans under the covered area offered relief, even if it was only slight (The temperature outside combined with all the body heat was something...wow). I traveled many hours for this show, and this was my first experience with Sunset Station and I would recommend with two thumbs up to anyone. As far as Blue is concerned, they could be playing anywhere, and I do mean anywhere and I would be there to see and support the band.
Show was great and very entertaining! Did not know that the venue was outside and it was pretty hot! Did not read this on the ticketmaster website when i purchased the tix.
The Blue October concert at the Lone Star Pavillion was great. The venue was really nice. Small enough that anywhere you stood was a good location. They had misting fans which kept the heat down to a minimum. The sound system was good. There were plenty of vendors so you never had to wait long in line for food or drink. But, most importantly, Blue October rocked. They are so good. My favorite band hands-down. They never dissapoint. And I like seeing them at smaller venues. Fits with their style.
I LOVE BLUE OCTOBER!! My family and I have seen them several times live. We Traveled many, many miles and days for this concert. They bring the magic of their cd's to the most amazing live shows. It is so difficult to go to impersonal rock concerts after seeing Blue October live. I highly recommend falling in love with this group and their music. Seeing them live is icing on the cake. I LOVE BLUE OCTOBER!
The show was great, the guys are better than ever.
Went to the event thinking that it was going to be awesome and was sadly disappointed...I've told all my friends that it was so NOT worth it.
Blue October is awsom... my woman and I went to see them and I still dont think I can get it out of my head. Lead singer i s great and spread it around to the crowd like a pro. I am looking forward to seeing them again as soon as I get the chance. I only wis they had also played calling you one of my favorites. Thanks guys for a really great night!
I love Blue Octobers music! The lyrics, Justins voice, It is all so awesome!! I have seen them perform 4 times in San Antonio and it seems they get better and better!!!
you never want a blue october show to end. the sound is loud. their musical ability is as clean live as in the studio.
The concert was worth standing in 100 degree heat. I would do it all over again. They rocked the house.
This was the third time I have seen Blue October and they seem to get better and better each time! They put on a tireless show and obviously give it everything that they have. They seem to enjoy San Antonio and I hope they continue to come back over and over again.
Always put on amazing shows. This tour is the best one in years. Justin is back in true form.
Blue October was good as always, but at the end of the night I left with not a single thought of Blue October. My head was filled with the inspiring music of Deadbeat Darling who opened for BO. I bought some Deadbeat Darling CD's and after wearing out the CD in my car have come to the conclusion that they are better than Blue October. And it is not that Blue Oct. lacks showmanship. No Justin did a great job connecting with the crowd as he always does. Unfortunately their music has become forgetable and rather uninteresting.
Opening band was bad-so bad that I can't even remember their name. It was horribly hot. The crowd was horrible. A lot of inconsiderate people. But Blue October was AWESOME!!!! This is one of the best shows that I have seen. The venue was a good location because no matter where you were you still had a good view. But their advertising skills could use some serious fixing. I would recommend both this venue and this concert to anyone.. As a matter of fact-we liked it so much we will be seeing them again next month.
I feel a little bad that I enjoy listening to Justin's heartache. His music is so deep and I need that sometimes. Overall the entire band is excellent. They seem to work well together and the violin is breathtaking.
Sunset Station is a nice venue. Blue October is always on and sound best outdoors!
The entire concert was amazing! We loved every minute, every song. If it wasn't for the sweltering heat, the evening would have been perfect! I'd see them again -- hopefully real soon!
Love this venue.. but of course Blue October is the real reason for this raving review. BO has been a favorite of mine since 2004 and I cant get enough of them.. especially their live shows! Most amazing song line-up every time and great openers too!
