Blippi The Musical on Stage
Blippi The Musical is a two-act comedy about a boy named Blippi who loves to play in the world while taking his viewers along for the ride. He inspires kids to explore their environment with curiosity and creativity, teaching them about responsibility through song and play. Stevin John is the original creative force behind Blippi, whose energetic, childlike persona is portrayed in thickly framed glasses, a blue button-down shirt, bright orange suspenders, bow tie, and cap to match. John wrote, acted, filmed, edited, produced and shared Blippi's first episodes on YouTube in 2014. The videos quickly became an obsession among kids between the ages of 2 and 6 years old, and the parents who discover Blippi in search of wholesome kids' content on the internet also appreciate John's safe material. The show's popularity amassed billions of view counts as Blippi catapulted into the limelight. John would eventually sign a master toy deal with Jazwares LLC and sell his edu-tainment program to Moonbug Entertainment, who partnered with Virgin Media to distribute the show in the United Kingdom. It's now dubbed in Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, German, Arabic, and Hebrew, and the spin-off show, "Blippi's Treehouse," began airing on Amazon Kids+ in 2021. This all-ages extravaganza produced by Round Room Live will feature a dynamic stage actor cast to perform Blippi The Musical on tour, thrilling live audiences nationwide.
Loved it and my granddaughter loved it great show it was very entertaining
Great view and songs! My kid loved it! I enjoyed it myself as well.
It was a fun show. As an adult I thought the show was short, but it was perfect given the age of the intended audience. The smell of sugar was palpable in the theatre. As an aside, I thought ticket pricing were quite favorable; offered from the perspective of a retiree who attends a lot of concerts.
My kids had a blast, but I think it would have been much better (especially for the cost) had it been Stevin John or the old live show guy who is the new YouTube Blippi. My kids didn’t notice the difference though and the actor did a great job. I docked one star simply because it wasn’t the real Blippi on YT and it was pretty expensive.
Not the real blippi or meekah, only an hour long… too pricy
Myself and my 2 year old enjoyed the show. Blippi sang his popular songs,
Such a great performance!! All the little kids were totally enthralled!!
Kids loved it, but it wasn't the real Blippi......
My family and I drove 2 hours to attend the show. I paid over $400 for great seats. And spent $160 on popcorn and some souvenirs. My kids were beyond excited. We arrived @5:50pm by the time the ushers checked all 3 baby bags and pocket books and bottom of carriage the show was running for 25 mins after the show started, there was a long intermission another half an hour . Once we returned to our seats, it went on for another 25 mins. The show wasn’t even fun. None of the good popular songs were sung like choo choo here comes the train the first half had a Caucasian male in meekahs track suit, also their was an Asian playing blippi first half and the second half had a girl playing meekah not even close to the online personality and they switch the blippi to a clearly middle age Caucasian male with a deep voice no where near blippi voice . They closed the ticket booth after intermission so we were unable to buy vip tickets for photo opp. This was the worst and most expensive experience I have ever had attending any tilt or of show. The theater and the show was a as sham. With the amount we spent in travel including tickets food etc. i could’ve thrown a blow out bday party for my son with a q impersonator that would’ve definitely did a better job then the actors. Honestly I would let everyone know highly reconsider because what you see online isnt what we received I will never purchase tickets to this show ever and to make it worse it was my sons 3rd birthday he love’s blippi and he wasn’t thrilled not one moment he was actually I think a lil culture shocked it wasn’t what any of us expected. Don’t waste your money people!!!!
Saw Blippi with my Five Years old daughter she had a blast, dressed up like Blippi made it so much more fun singing and dancing non stop to all the songs she knew we had snacks and drinks our seats were in great view,we had tons of fun
Venue and staff were exceptional. Parking was great and convenient. The show in itself was very short which I guess is okay because the audience is kids . The break in between was unnecessary and long . My son was antsy he’s 2 . He’s a huge Blippi fan he was dressed as Blippi from head to toe the fact it wasn’t a bit longer was disappointing . Overall it was okay . Would I do it again ? No . But I’m happy we did experience it once . And they did not start on time . Very hard to keep a toddler quiet and calm just waiting around .
The show was cute but not worth the price. The kids enjoyed the trucks but that’s it. There was no real story line, the were no real props throughout. Not many wow factors for the kids other than when the trucks came out. The entertainment was simply singing and dancing the entire time. The dancers looked tired and out of breath. The tickets should have been 25 dollars at best.
Watching my grandson enjoying himself was priceless! HOWEVER, The price if the tickets were pretty steep for the quality of the show. They literally sang and danced through a few songs and then had a 20 minute intermission. They danced another few songs and it was over.
My 22month old had the time of his life. He was in awe the entire show and totally engaged.
My 4 year old had a great time at the Blippi show. My son thought it was the real Blippi and Meekah.
Blippi live is not even the real blippi. The show started 10 minutes late and very soon after it began they took a 20 minute intermission. Most of the songs sang my son didn't even know and he didn't do any of the popular songs until the very end. It is not worth the money and the quality of the actors, and show affects are terrible. Felt more like a school play. "Blippi"left the stage often and out of the 1 hour show he probably was only on stage for 45 minutes of it. There is only 1 table you can buy light up wands or any blippi merch at which made for an extremely long line. The light up wands were a piece of styrofoam with plastic wrap around it that says blippi... for $15.....
Show is way way way too short. Otherwise I loved everything else.
I get attention span is short with toddlers, so why have an intermission. Do the hour and have it end. Lots of people left at intermission and we were close too. Show started at 6:10. Went to 6:45. Had a 20 min intermission and came back out for another 15-20 mins. It was a nice show, put too pricey for time!
Venue was beautiful, military parking lot was super convenient. $28 for day. My 4 year old grand daughter loved the show, but was disappointed it was so short. Right when it started , it felt like the break time came quickly. Then back from break, then it was over. Was not worth my hour drive to attend such a time limited show.
The show was very good and the kids were thoroughly entertained. But, the show was very short the first half was about 1/2 hour and then there is a 20 minute intermission and it felt like the show was maybe another 1/2 hour. The cost was expensive and felt a longer performance or no intermission would have been better.
