Blackberry Smoke on Tour

Though they've had their biggest success in the country market, the guys in Blackberry Smoke are rock 'n' rollers at heart. When they hit the concert stage, that becomes immediately apparent, but of course, so does the twangy side of their sound. Ultimately, what comes across is a roots-rocking blend that incorporates the influences of classic Southern rock, '70s/'80s heartland rockers and yes, a dash of modern country. And whether they're delivering a chugging good-time tune like "Rock and Roll Again" or a reflective ballad like "Let Me Down Easy," what comes through the loudest is the band's authenticity. These ol' boys are the real deal, playing it their own way with no nonsense and no rock-star moves. And since they do exactly what they feel, don't be surprised if that extends to covers of songs by their favorite artists such as Little Feat, The Grateful Dead or Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.

Blackberry Smoke in Concert

Blackberry Smoke has always done things their own way, rising to stardom by building an audience from the ground up, remaining resolutely independent and staying true to their roots. The band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2000, with singer/guitarist Charlie Starr, guitarist Paul Jackson, and brothers Richard and Brit Turner on bass and drums, respectively, and that lineup remained intact into their breakthrough and beyond, adding keyboardist Brandon Still in 2009. They released their debut album, Bad Luck Ain't No Crime, in 2003, but it wasn't until their third album, 2012's The Whippoorwill, that Blackberry Smoke started achieving major commercial traction. Their next record, 2015's Holding All the Roses, reached No. 1 on the country charts as well as No. 29 on the pop tally, underscoring the band's pan-genre appeal. Their homegrown blend of Southern rock and country has remained authentic and untainted through it all.

Was our first time seeing Rev. Peyton and Blackberry Smoke, but it didn't take long to understand why the show was sold out. Loved both bands and bought too much merch!

Two thumbs up! The energy level is so high. Every time we see them they seem to get better. Love how they integrate other performers songs like Tom Petty and Little Feat. Reverent Peyton's Big Damn Band was a great selection for an opening act. Grennfield Lake Amphitheater is one of the best venues around.

The concert was great but I ended up having to buy a ticket for a friend at the gate. Had bought one on the ticket master site that was a resale, it did not work. Highly upsetting

  • Stellar Show!!

by Johnny MO on 10/8/25Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 5 out of 5

Great show! I had seen some videos and listened to several songs but did not know a lot about the band - just know I needed to see them! I was NOT disappointed! They were great! Had seats about five rows from the stage right in the center! The show was so good I was looking to see where I could see them next! Do yourself a favor and go see BlackBerry Smoke in a town near you! You will become an instant fan! We were able to snag a pick and a set list too! Great memory!

Blackberry Smoke always brings a musically packed performance with the coolest mix of Southern rock and roll fused with country and whole lot of cool! Love seeing these guys jam out every time!

  • The most amazing night

by Desalex on 10/7/25Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium - ChattanoogaRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was large and accommodating. I an legally blind and nothing was to difficult for me to find or enjoy. We found our seats with ease. The music was loud and wonderful. The company was amazing. This was my husband's first concert and he hasn't stopped talking about it! The drinks are pretty crazy expensive, but I guess that's to be expected given the environment. Over all we had an absolutely amazing night.

  • Southern Rock at its finest!

by BBS fan BSM on 10/6/25Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium - ChattanoogaRating: 5 out of 5

So excited to see Blackberry Smoke at Soldiers & Sailors Auditorium in Chattanooga. I’m proud that these guys put on a great show whether the crowd is large or small! We salute Charlie for reminding us all to agree to disagree as we are all sisters and brothers on this trip around the sun! It is so fun to see the band members interacting with the crowd. Richard was winking at friends and Paul’s family was in the crowd (no pressure dude). 😜 I don’t know why your music isn’t being played on radio stations when they are heavily sought after when included in contests. Wake up America… these guys rock! I turn people on to BBS every chance I get. 😘

Loved Blackberry Smoke but they deserved and we deserved a better warm up act. Nat was painful. Seemed like same song throughout the entire act.

We had the most amazing time from the meet and greet all the way to the end of the night. The meet and greet handler, AJ, was great as well as all of the band members. Everyone we encountered was exceptionally polite and professional. The concert was superb and the sound was fantastic. The venue staff was very friendly, polite and courteous.
