Blackberry Smoke on Tour
Though they've had their biggest success in the country market, the guys in Blackberry Smoke are rock 'n' rollers at heart. When they hit the concert stage, that becomes immediately apparent, but of course, so does the twangy side of their sound. Ultimately, what comes across is a roots-rocking blend that incorporates the influences of classic Southern rock, '70s/'80s heartland rockers and yes, a dash of modern country. And whether they're delivering a chugging good-time tune like "Rock and Roll Again" or a reflective ballad like "Let Me Down Easy," what comes through the loudest is the band's authenticity. These ol' boys are the real deal, playing it their own way with no nonsense and no rock-star moves. And since they do exactly what they feel, don't be surprised if that extends to covers of songs by their favorite artists such as Little Feat, The Grateful Dead or Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
Blackberry Smoke in Concert
Blackberry Smoke has always done things their own way, rising to stardom by building an audience from the ground up, remaining resolutely independent and staying true to their roots. The band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2000, with singer/guitarist Charlie Starr, guitarist Paul Jackson, and brothers Richard and Brit Turner on bass and drums, respectively, and that lineup remained intact into their breakthrough and beyond, adding keyboardist Brandon Still in 2009. They released their debut album, Bad Luck Ain't No Crime, in 2003, but it wasn't until their third album, 2012's The Whippoorwill, that Blackberry Smoke started achieving major commercial traction. Their next record, 2015's Holding All the Roses, reached No. 1 on the country charts as well as No. 29 on the pop tally, underscoring the band's pan-genre appeal. Their homegrown blend of Southern rock and country has remained authentic and untainted through it all.

Took my film crew out for a night of fun at the Wilma theater in Missoula MT. The venue was great and E/tickets worked flawlessly. Had a Great evening with Blackberry Smoke..
Best concert I’ve witnessed for several years. Would not waste a minute to see them again. Fantastic artists - Charlie Starr was all in to having a great night for just 1000 folks.
The concert was at the Knitting Factory in Boise. It was awesome. However, just a note for the sounds guys, Instruments were a tad too loud as it was distorting the band vocals. But again, it was an awesome concert and awesome venue. We will go wherever they area... We have been to Tucson (Rialto Theater), Spokane (Fox Theatre) and now Boise (Knitting Factory). Love the smaller venues.
Will go see again.Really nice of Charlie and broken arrow to meet people.
Drove a long way to see these guys, a wonderful show
Blackberry Smoke was on stage for over two hours and provided a phenomenal energy-filled concert. Charlie Starr enjoys what he does and it shows. His engagement with the crowd is amazing and fun to watch. This concert was one of the best we've seen in a long time. Blackberry Smoke should winning awards and getting radio airplay. their music is better that a lot of corporate radio is pushing on the airways.
I drove over 300 miles for this show and I'll travel twice the distance to see the next one. Good job BBS.

First time seeing them, beymy expectations, especially in this size of venue! My personal favorite band that's out there! Charlie has inspired me to get my own Gibson Junior and learn to play at 60🤘 AWESOME musicians with an incredible catalog of original music. Will always be a FAN!
This was our 7th time seeing Blackberry smoke and they never disappoint. They are such a great talented band and all of the guys are so nice and down to earth!! We love going to see these guys put on a hell of a show.
These guys deliver every single time! Their audiences are like family. The concert is more like a family reunion. There’s hope yet for our country! The world needs more of this…and yes, I’m a Southern child to the end!
