Blackberry Smoke on Tour
Though they've had their biggest success in the country market, the guys in Blackberry Smoke are rock 'n' rollers at heart. When they hit the concert stage, that becomes immediately apparent, but of course, so does the twangy side of their sound. Ultimately, what comes across is a roots-rocking blend that incorporates the influences of classic Southern rock, '70s/'80s heartland rockers and yes, a dash of modern country. And whether they're delivering a chugging good-time tune like "Rock and Roll Again" or a reflective ballad like "Let Me Down Easy," what comes through the loudest is the band's authenticity. These ol' boys are the real deal, playing it their own way with no nonsense and no rock-star moves. And since they do exactly what they feel, don't be surprised if that extends to covers of songs by their favorite artists such as Little Feat, The Grateful Dead or Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
Blackberry Smoke in Concert
Blackberry Smoke has always done things their own way, rising to stardom by building an audience from the ground up, remaining resolutely independent and staying true to their roots. The band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2000, with singer/guitarist Charlie Starr, guitarist Paul Jackson, and brothers Richard and Brit Turner on bass and drums, respectively, and that lineup remained intact into their breakthrough and beyond, adding keyboardist Brandon Still in 2009. They released their debut album, Bad Luck Ain't No Crime, in 2003, but it wasn't until their third album, 2012's The Whippoorwill, that Blackberry Smoke started achieving major commercial traction. Their next record, 2015's Holding All the Roses, reached No. 1 on the country charts as well as No. 29 on the pop tally, underscoring the band's pan-genre appeal. Their homegrown blend of Southern rock and country has remained authentic and untainted through it all.

Most excellent show. First time in person looking forward to the next time. They did all the favorites.
Both Blackberry Smoke and Sonia Leigh put on a great show. The venue was perfect for this show and the crowd was very energetic.
worth the 5 hour drive . will see them again& again !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Band was fantastic ..... Would see them anywhere .. BBS all the way
Great show....great guys...amazing as always. We have seen them almost ten times and they are always great
Great concert!!! Was so excited to see them at the Paramount NY. Great energy, grat music, so much fun!!! Been mentioning they should have the band there to anyone who will listen that worked there. Knew they would pack them. Need a little more exopsure up here, Now to get Here Come the Mummies.
5TH TIME SEEING BBS AND THIS WAS THE BEST !!!! The Paramount is a great venue for a concert and got to see BBS up close. Charley and the boys really interact with the crowd and it's a shame the place was half empty. Looking forward to the next recording.
Do not miss BlackBerry smoke. They are a great live band. Can't wait to see them again.
Simply the best archetype band to come along in years. They played great, enthusiasm displayed on everything they did. The new Allmans or Black Crowes. The venue was perfect and they sounded great. Best show I have been to since the Black Crowes in Vegas!
From beginning to end,an amazing show experience! The numerous staff were polite and helpful and made for a comfortable time all around.the sound and lights were a++++!we were seated just off to the side of the tech panel and the crew was professional and on point all night.opening act Sonia Leigh was a revelation and we grabbed both cd's and downloaded her iTunes tune before we left.as an opener for blackberry smoke she and her top notch band were excellent.as for blackberry smoke, well they tear the roof off any place they play.so while I'd go see blackberry smoke play in an alley on the lower east side, getting to enjoy an evening like this in beautiful Huntington village at a place like the paramount was truly memorable.to everyone from the musicians right down to the guys and ladies who gave us paper towels in the incredibly hip and clean restrooms, thanks for an a+ event!
Blackberry Smoke were awesome! So glad they came to the Paramount. This is truly a great venue for concerts. Love this place!
great southern rock and sexy looking guitar players! Just sayin Fun night at the paramount Crowd really enjoyed them and they played up to it! Thanks gys! come back
Great show. The fans were half the fun. Good people in a good venue. Been following BBS over 2years they keep getting bigger and better and still having fun. Southern Rock lives!
Awesome band...!sound great live... Great venue.. would definitely go see them again..
Great concert! Blackberry Smoke is a great band and put on a great show!! Very under rated band! If you like southern rock I highly suggest you see this band live if they are in your area!!!
If you're the type of person that thinks there isn't any good rock bands around anymore, go check out Blackberry Smoke. They deliver. Hard, bluesy songs that get you on your feet. I've seen them twice now, and they were great both times. Looking forward to a 3rd. The Jacobs Pavilion was a nice venue to see them, I'd go back again.
We attended this concert on Memorial Day thinking it would be a great way to end the weekend, it was a complete disappointment! The band played for and hour and a half, the tickets were overpriced,we could have paid $8 and instead paid $27 due to bad advertising. Blackberry Smoke is one of my favorite bands but this was a huge waste of time and money.
This is my second time seeing Blackberry Smoke and as before they did not disappoint. I own all their albums and they played a good variety to keep everyone interested. The warm up band was The Delta Saints who were excellent but came across a little harder with there music. I did buy there CD and after listening to it I would compare their sound to Marc Broussard. Overall it was a great show and I'll go back and see them again if and when they come back around.
Blackberry Smoke was as good as I have seen them. This is a very good place for a concert. Only complaint was with management on drink prices. They didn't seem to have a set price for drinks. This really is a standing only venue. You can reserve tables or stadium seating but it cost extra.
