    Billy and Steve kicked butt!!

by KB on 12/2/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Ryman is a great venue for Acoustic concerts and Billy and Steve did not disappoint. If you get a chance, check them out!!

    Read fine print..acoustic show

by Kerry on 12/2/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Once again I purchased tickets for a show at the Ryman expecting a loud rock show, only to be disappointed that it was an acoustic show. I know, I know I should have read the small print I guess on tickets. I’ve heard Billy Idol belt it out at I Heart Radio shows. He still has his voice. That’s how I remember his music so I wasn’t thrilled with the acoustic show. I did like the story behind the songs. Ryman is always a great venue!

    Awesome

by Matt on 12/2/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

I've been a Billy Idol fan for as long as I can remember, I cant even remember all the shows I've been to, starting in 1984. This was simply amazing! Such a rare experience and really connected with his fans. Would do this show again and again.

    Billy Idol at the Ryman

by PJ on 12/2/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

This was fantastic. The Ryman doesn't have a bad seat in the house, and the event felt very personal and informal. Billy Idol spent time talking to the crowd about his life and the inspiration of each song he shared. The power of his voice has been unchanged, and Steve Stevens is a remarkably talented accompaniment.

    Billy Idol Unplugged

    Truly enjoyable!

by Square Deal Sam on 12/2/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

I personally loved the storyteller format! Just Billy and Steve playing the songs like they wrote them. I think some of the audience were a bit surprised about the unpluggged style of songs presented but if they were they should have paid closer attention when buying their tickets because it said it in the ad. Steve Stevens may be one of the most underrated guitar players ever. He really showed how gifted he is and his solo was amazing! Favorite songs: Kiss Me Deadly, Eyes Without A Face, Bitter Taste and Rebel Yell of course. Overall great show and well worth the money.

    Phenomenal performance

by Billy fan on 12/2/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Billy and Steve are consummate professionals: on stage on time, completely seamless playing, and Billy’s vocals are untouched by time. Their connection is clear. I especially appreciated all the perspective on how songs emerged. Billy comes across as a human being and I love him even more after the concert than before, if that’s possible. The crowd was subdued and like me, over 50. I wished there had been more hips swinging. My only complaint is about the Ryman: waited in line for a Hatch print only to be told they were all gone in a few minutes. Boo

    Just an ok show

by BethCPA on 12/2/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Love Billy Idol, but it was so hard to understand him when he was telling his stories. Did not like the acoustic show, but then again he does not have much of a voice anymore.

by LT on 12/2/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

I have been a fan for quite some time. However, this is the first opportunity I had to see Billy Idol & Steve Stevens in concert. They did not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert.

    Great, but….

by Kathi on 12/2/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Billy idol was amazing, my only problem was that the people in the first ten rows stood the whole time so the rest of us had to stand

    Great night !

by Bo on 12/2/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

The Ryman was acoustically supreme and its staff was very helpful and cordial. Billy Idol & Steve Stevens were excellent and put on a great show with added liner notes.

Probably the best concert that I have ever attended

    by yogamom123 on 12/2/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

This was a perfect concert. Excellent venue and acoustics. Two men and a guitar. Concert started around 8 and ended a little after 9. Billy still has a fantastic voice, and Steve Stevens is highly underrated. I loved it!

    Low energy - blah

    by Jeff on 11/29/21

Went to see the acoustic show at Old National Center in Indianapolis on 11-27. When I bought the tickets much earlier, I thought it was Billy, Steve and the entire band. I realized after the fact it was just the two of them. Most of Billy's songs don't translate well to being performed acoustically, though Steve did a tremendous job. The show was mostly low energy other than when the crowd was engaged during White Wedding and Rebel Yell. Billy told stories along the way, but honestly he's not very good at it. The show only lasted 90 minutes. Major disappointment and not at all worth the money.

    Billy and Steve still rock!

by Barbie on 6/23/19Town Hall - New York

The only thing I wish was different about the concert is that I would have liked more verbal interaction between Billy and Steve with the audience. Steve only spoke once (about his background), but the rest of the insights and stories were BIlly's. I would have liked to hear more of a conversation between the two of them, talking about the music i.e., how they came up with a certain song, what they liked about it, concert experiences, etc., tying the songs together in the concert,

    bleh

by chuckie on 4/15/19Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

Saw Billy 15 times over the years. While I give him koodos for trying something different, he needs to stick to his high energy rocker roots. He has too much energy to do a laid-back, slow song show.

An intimate acoustic set with great stories and songs from close to a forty year career.
