The concert, the sound , the venue were great! Couldn’t believe I was seeing Billy Idol after 30+ years. He was great. A little confused about proof of vaccination, but still had to wear mask, but not if I drank a beer. Didn’t ruin the night though!
Seen Steve and Billy five times!! Playlist, Steve Stevens guitar solos have been different everytime and crowd favorites. All shows should be like Billy Idol and Steven Stevens. Venue Barrymore Theater in Madison WI was unique; although the venue staff needs improvement. Venue required proof of negative COVID-19 within 72 hours (Dane County) and were rude about reinforced mask requirements during the show after the fact that precautions were put in place. Understand the circumstances yes should be taken seriously; but staff could of been done in a different manner. .
Billy Idol was absolutely fantastic!! Such a wonderful performance from a great artist! And Steve is still an incredible guitar player!
3 rows from the front! Amazing view of Billy and Steve, so close. Like the little song facts that Billy shared. Fans were great to watch as well! My 10 year old son was given a copy of the song list-how cool for him, he will be a fan for life! Already planning heading to Milwaukee to see them again. So much fun!!! Barrymore was pretty cool for the first time visit. Too bad it doesn't look more like the olden golden days-more vintage. Good prices on food and drinks. Had a great time!!!
Great show. Billy still has the pipes and his joy was evident to all. Mr Stevens is incredible, probably the most underrated guitarist out there. I hope they bring this acoustic show back to Madison in the near future.
Billy and Steve were awesome!! They sound great together. Billy was very personable especially when someone wanted a picture, autograph or video. It was interesting to hear the meaning behind the songs he wrote, and to get to know him.
Very intimate setting. This was my favorite billy idol experience so far. I even traveled to get here and it was 150% worth it!
I was front row in this smaller venue and it was so intimate and wonderful. Billy has so much stage presence and sounds great! I will not top this concert experience!
Worthwhile to see Billy & Steve in this intimate acoustic setting. Billy told some great stories, and Steve shredded like he always does. The two of them have undeniable chemistry, and it shows big-time on this stage. Steve can really play and is completely entertaining- he needs no one to back him up.
The show was entertaining. Billy told some stories about the songs that gave some insight. Steve is an amazing guitarist. One drawback. Very short show about an hour and 15 minutes
