For producer, writer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Jackson Stell, the Big Wild project was born out of an ethos of curiosity. Inspired by the vast and wild nature of Big Sur after a revelatory trip to the coast, beauty and spirit has been the heartbeat of the project ever since. Stell's music career started in the electronic space where he gained global traction topping global viral charts along with his music appearing in major brand campaigns for the likes of Apple, The Olympics, American Eagle, etc. after his first releases and his debut album Superdream. As an artist, his main endeavor is one of evolution as his music crosses over genres; he is not confined by preconceived notions of modern sound. He delves deeper into his emotional capacity and encourages those around him to open their eyes and do the same.

The Fillmore venue is amazing! Big Wild's performance was brilliant!
Big Wild is a fully immersive experience. His Efferusphere exceeded my expectations. The vibe and energy transported the crowd and took us on a journey together and within. If you have the opportunity, go see him live!
The crowd was excessively chatty and the performance was a low energy
Big Wild should be a show that takes you into the morning. Always an amazing performance so I assume it’s a Boise, ID thing that the show ended at 11pm!? Really,2 hours? Lame.
So good. So fun. Great experience. I’d love to see again!
I left half way through the show, the main performance seems artificial and awkward. It lacked natural flow, lots of statements like you are going to have a great time, or this is going to be amazing. At the start of the show it sounded like he was singing over his own sound track. It never clicked for me. I left early it felt like a waste of time.
Less than ethnically diverse crowd(predominantly white). Alot of great people-watching, especially the disjointed, uncoordinated dancing. 🤣 Felt like a christian gathering with alchohol, except the drinks, as per usual at WAMU, were awful. Keep in mind this' an observation more than an opinion.
Expected more of a production show instead of big wild being a vocalist the majority of the show. Probably would have skipped this event had I known it was to be a live band with big wild singing..
Boring, slow. Was ready to be dancing, but a lot of slow songs, they weren't playing their popular songs until the end. The closing song that was being played once they got off stage, and having people get out of the venue was actually one of the few times when I saw people actually dance and enjoy themselves. Won't be seeing them again sadly.
Was one of the most boring concerts I have ever seen, played music from his new alternative rock album which was cheesy, not fun to listen to or the reason any went to see him perform. The crowd was full of people in rave outfits and people ready to listen to his electronic/EDM music which he never played. So boring and not worth the money. Would not recommend seeing him live to anyone I know.
Big Wild was great and so fun! I would give 5/5 stars if it weren’t for the venue. I’ve been to Aragon many times and have seen it much more packed than it was for this concert. Just in our section we saw 3 people be carried out by medics from passing out. It was way hotter than usual in there.
To preface, we love Big Wild and were SO excited for this show. The performance ended up being a massive disappointment. They started strong, and then it became mostly an Indie band performance, occasionally punctuated by some of the EDM that got them so popular. They kept losing the crowd's interest during these songs so much that people were starting to have can-crushing competitions (??), walk away, and just stand/talk with one another. But when they would *finally* stop playing like an Indie band, the crowd went wild again. If they had mixed up their performance, it would have been a much better show. Also, the Aragon was so incredibly hot and needed to turn up their AC like crazy. We saw multiple people have to leave because they were about to faint from heat. Overall, I would never go to see Big Wild again unless we knew they would stop trying to be an Indie band and maybe mix some of that into a mostly EDM show. So. Disappointed. And Bored.
This show was so bad. I wanted feel good music. It was a guy on an acoustic guitar.
Great atmosphere created by the band. BIG sound and fun times
Probably one of the best shows I’ve been to in a long time. Big Wild brought BIG energy!
Had never even heard of Big Wild, was in town for a business event and was invited out to this. An amazing time and great tunes, excellent vibe.
It was just so awesome, he is Uber talented. Played so many different instruments, had the crowd involved the whole time.
What an incredible show. Big Wild took us on a journey and created a truly beautiful experience. Great music, great venue. Good times had by all!
Big wild put on an incredible show- the costume changes, the lights, the effects and the genuine energy was incredible. Only removed 1 start due to lack of mask requirement in house of blues. No one was wearing a mask outside me and my 2 friends around us.
Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!
