About

For producer, writer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Jackson Stell, the Big Wild project was born out of an ethos of curiosity. Inspired by the vast and wild nature of Big Sur after a revelatory trip to the coast, beauty and spirit has been the heartbeat of the project ever since. Stell's music career started in the electronic space where he gained global traction topping global viral charts along with his music appearing in major brand campaigns for the likes of Apple, The Olympics, American Eagle, etc. after his first releases and his debut album Superdream. As an artist, his main endeavor is one of evolution as his music  crosses over genres; he is not confined by preconceived notions of modern sound. He delves deeper into his emotional capacity and encourages those around him to open their eyes and do the same.

    Frickin' Amazing!

by Rachael on 4/8/23The Union - Salt Lake City

This was one of the best shows I've been to. I couldn't stop dancing and why would I want to?! The vibes at Big Wild we're so awesome, everyone was having a great time they really put on a great show!! Seeing Big Wild live was one of my bucket list items and they did not disappoint!! Now I absolutely MUST see them at Red Rocks!

    Most boring show

by Disappointed first timer on 3/31/23Music Farm - Charleston

The new songs/album are terribly boring and were just as so live. This was a big disappointment and wish older songs were played because they are FAR better. Will not get tickets again.

    Big Wild at The Ritz

by Kimie on 3/29/23The Ritz - Raleigh

Big wild absolutely crushed it! We loved the live band playing. The only downside is that The ritz closes very early at 11am so I suggest getting to this venue as early as possible so you don’t miss out on anything.

    Incredible show

by djwerth on 3/27/23The Ritz - Raleigh

A truly amazing show - the singer was so connected to the audience, regularly inviting people to be present and ride the experience he was creating. The curation of songs was perfect - we were swaying, dancing, jumping, feeling - at one point I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest I was riding such a high of euphoria (and yes, I was sober). Big Wild is an incredibly talented group of musicians and this is a show you can't miss!

    Wonderful

by Staccatto on 3/27/23The Ritz - Raleigh

Big Wild never disappoints! I was a little frustrated with some fellow concertgoers talking instead of being immersed in the music, but still had a great time. Can't wait to see Big Wild again!

    Great show

by J on 3/26/23The Fillmore Charlotte - Charlotte

The show itself was awesome, Big Wild killed it! The crowd was annoying and rude talking extremely loudly the whole time and throwing drink cans on the floor instead of in trash cans. I still had a great experience, just wasn't my type of crowd. 🤷🏼‍♀️

    Dope!

by Donnie B on 3/26/23Knitting Factory - Spokane - Spokane

I really enjoyed the show in Spokane WA. The knitting factory is an intimate venue and it was a full house-everyone was enjoying themselves including kids since it was all ages show. Big wild is our road music play list. I love the fact he has his own innovative sound, the music is positive and deeply thoughtful with great energy! We appreciate the all girl band and his ability to connect to the audience! When he comes back to Spokane trust me we will be the first to get tickets. We ended up buying poster and two shirts! Hopefully I can get his autograph for my kiddos next time😎! Awesome show! Thank you for coming to Spokane!👍😎😊

Love Big Wild but Slightly Disappointed

by Allie on 3/26/23The Fillmore Charlotte - Charlotte

I’ve seen Big Wild 3-4 times, and while I will always love him, I feel like his flair just isn’t the same with this show as years past. There were a lot of dull moments but I think it was due to his new album not being the best…

Didn’t play all their hits - mostly new songs. Eh

by Showman on 3/26/23The Fillmore Charlotte - Charlotte

It was so so. Didn’t play all their hits and their new music isn’t great. Wouldn’t do it if it were the same experience, looking back.

    The Efferusphere Experience

by Camtastic on 3/24/23The Union - Salt Lake City

Big Wild is a fully immersive experience. His Efferusphere exceeded my expectations. The vibe and energy transported the crowd and took us on a journey together and within. If you have the opportunity, go see him live!

    Wasn't expecting Karaoke

    Boise Drags

by Phil on 3/20/23Knitting Factory - Boise - Boise

Big Wild should be a show that takes you into the morning. Always an amazing performance so I assume it’s a Boise, ID thing that the show ended at 11pm!? Really,2 hours? Lame.

    The main act seemed forced

by taylor on 10/24/22WAMU Theater - Seattle

I left half way through the show, the main performance seems artificial and awkward. It lacked natural flow, lots of statements like you are going to have a great time, or this is going to be amazing. At the start of the show it sounded like he was singing over his own sound track. It never clicked for me. I left early it felt like a waste of time.

    Culty Snoozefest

by Kip on 10/24/22WAMU Theater - Seattle

Less than ethnically diverse crowd(predominantly white). Alot of great people-watching, especially the disjointed, uncoordinated dancing. 🤣 Felt like a christian gathering with alchohol, except the drinks, as per usual at WAMU, were awful. Keep in mind this' an observation more than an opinion.

    Not as expected

by Ravet on 10/24/22WAMU Theater - Seattle

Expected more of a production show instead of big wild being a vocalist the majority of the show. Probably would have skipped this event had I known it was to be a live band with big wild singing..

    Disappointing

by Hawk on 10/24/22WAMU Theater - Seattle

Boring, slow. Was ready to be dancing, but a lot of slow songs, they weren't playing their popular songs until the end. The closing song that was being played once they got off stage, and having people get out of the venue was actually one of the few times when I saw people actually dance and enjoy themselves. Won't be seeing them again sadly.

Big Wild? More like Big Letdown!

by Jack T. on 10/24/22WAMU Theater - Seattle

Was one of the most boring concerts I have ever seen, played music from his new alternative rock album which was cheesy, not fun to listen to or the reason any went to see him perform. The crowd was full of people in rave outfits and people ready to listen to his electronic/EDM music which he never played. So boring and not worth the money. Would not recommend seeing him live to anyone I know.

    Turn on the AC

by CN on 10/3/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

Big Wild was great and so fun! I would give 5/5 stars if it weren’t for the venue. I’ve been to Aragon many times and have seen it much more packed than it was for this concert. Just in our section we saw 3 people be carried out by medics from passing out. It was way hotter than usual in there.
