About

For producer, writer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Jackson Stell, the Big Wild project was born out of an ethos of curiosity. Inspired by the vast and wild nature of Big Sur after a revelatory trip to the coast, beauty and spirit has been the heartbeat of the project ever since. Stell's music career started in the electronic space where he gained global traction topping global viral charts along with his music appearing in major brand campaigns for the likes of Apple, The Olympics, American Eagle, etc. after his first releases and his debut album Superdream. As an artist, his main endeavor is one of evolution as his music  crosses over genres; he is not confined by preconceived notions of modern sound. He delves deeper into his emotional capacity and encourages those around him to open their eyes and do the same.

  • Dynamic, colorful, spiritually uplifting Dance party

by Will Owl on 11/17/19The Sylvee - MadisonRating: 5 out of 5

A brilliant entrance, dazzling light show, with soulful voices and phat beats!! Saw Big Wild last year and this time he transformed himself from your standard Dj hiding behind his electronics. Into a dynamic singer, drummer and fantastic Dj. With state of the art light show and three new musicians added to his act. I was awestruck and pleasantly able to dance simultaneously!! Great work Big Wild and Sylvee is always a great venue for Madison!! Thanks and keep the love flow going ❤️❤️🙏🙏

  • Just ok

by Anna on 11/16/1920 Monroe Live - Grand RapidsRating: 3 out of 5

I was really looking forward to this show. I guess I should have known being that it was on a Tuesday and all ages but it only went until 10pm and was a very mediocre nothing great show. Wasn’t much different than just listening to the music at home. Probably won’t see him live again unless it happens to be at a festival I’m already attending.

  • Stunning.

  • Definitely hit my top 3

by Tam on 11/12/19The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This tour is absolutely spectacular. I saw him last year and the set was amazing but his Superdream tour is next level magical! Amazing talent, great visuals, I hadn't felt so much happiness at a show in so long (and I see a lot of shows). If you miss this one you made the wrong choice!!

  • Good light display

by Nev on 11/10/19State Theatre - PortlandRating: 3 out of 5

It was an ok show. Bit to pop driven. I went because I love one of his songs. Unfortunately that seems to be his best song. Everything else was just ok. High energy and great light display. Sound at the state theater was awful

  • Amazing!!

    by Madz16 on 11/4/19The Ritz - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

This show was simply amazing. I wish I could replay this night over and over! Thansks Ark Patrol, Evan Giia, and Big Wild for such a rad show!

  • Crowded and Overpriced

by Meh. on 11/4/19The Ritz - RaleighRating: 3 out of 5

Big Wild was great but the venue was way too packed. The drinks (including non-alcoholic beverages) were way overpriced. This was my first time at The Ritz and I will probably never be back. There was also an alarming amount of high school students there, yikes.

  • too much frat

by electric charisma on 10/28/19House of Blues Dallas presented by Cricket Wireless - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

I wasn't expecting the crowd to be as big as it was for Big Wild! Great visuals and artist performance. I wish the concert was at a larger venue. It was PACKED. Great energy from the crowd, but there were tons of people just standing around talking to each other instead of enjoying Big Wild on stage. Lots of fraternity and sorority college people just chatting with each other. Aside from that, great performance by Big Wild!

  • Unreal

by M. M. on 10/27/19House of Blues Dallas presented by Cricket Wireless - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

I’m a common concert goer and this show is definitely one of the top 3 shows I’ve been too. The energy was amazing and the music was even better. If you’re debating whether or not to go, definitely send it!!

  • Awesome Time!

by Brizzledrawnout on 10/20/19Delmar Hall - Saint LouisRating: 4 out of 5

We showed up right as Evan Giia was starting (as we intended). The security at the front screening people were nice and efficient. We then got to the ID checkers. It was two ladies that scrutinized me and my friend's ID for a longer than expected time. The one ID checker could not verify on her own whether or not my IL Driver's License was legit. She handed it over to her coworker to get a second opinion. If you work as an ID checker at a concert hall, you should be able to identify all local and federal IDs without needing someone else. I would have laughed if both of them said that it was a fake. They would have got my military ID then and felt very stupid. All I'm trying to say is that they should make individual decisions and not rely on crutches to verify IDs. We immediately got drinks and enjoyed Evan Giia's set. The drink prices were right around where we thought they would be. After she got off stage, we went back to the bar to grab a couple of beers. The line took forever! It took about 20 minutes to get to the bar to get two beers. Many people would cut us off in line. Two ladies felt pretty bad after the fact and they apologized. We were pretty chill and was like "No worries". Once we got back into the crowd, we could only stand towards the back of the front pit when beforehand we were able to be right in the center. My recommendation is to have line barriers set up so its not one big cluster of people cutting other people. This concert was one of my favorite concerts to date. This was my first concert at Delmar Hall and it did not disappoint. I love going to The Pageant and Delmar Hall especially when I see good acts such as Big Wild, Jai Wolf, ODESZA etc. playing. We will be back!

  • Amazing!
