Belinda Carlisle returns to Australia with Special Guests
Pseudo Echo
Australian Tour 2016

Belinda Carlisle returns to Australia in February 2016 for a national run of concerts with Australian 80s iconic band Pseudo Echo. Belinda Carlisle has never stopped performing and has toured Australia numerous times to sold out shows. Playing her big solo hits alongside the much loved hits from The Go-Go’s, Belinda Carlisle one of the biggest solo female artists in the world.

Belinda rise to fame started when The Go-Go’s formed in 1978, and recorded a number of hits including “We Got The Beat” and “Our Lips are Sealed” before breaking up in 1985. At this time Belinda embarked on her hugely successful solo career and released her first solo album in 1986. Her second album “Heaven on Earth” produced the world wide hit “Heaven Is A Place on Earth” which became a number one in both
the US and UK charts and number two on the Australian charts. Another top 10 hit followed with “I Get Weak”.

Belinda continued to dominate the International charts with the 1989 release of  “Runaway Horses” a top 10 album and featured the hit songs “Leave a Light On” and “Summer Rain”. More hits were to come, including the 1996 classic “In Too Deep” showcasing her longevity in the pop music scene. The concert will feature a collection of her biggest and best hits and songs from the past and present.

Joining Belinda Carlisle on tour is Australia’s own Pseudo Echo.  Forming in Melbourne in the early 1980s, Pseudo Echo dominated the charts in the 80s with such big hits like ‘Don’t Go’, “Listening” and “Funky Town”.  Their infectious electronic beats coupled with catchy pop tunes cemented their place in Australia pop music history and their songs continued to be heard on Australian radio to this day.

    Old memories brought back.

    by Pav on 8/29/23

Great concert but am not a big fan of Ska. I won't mind if they're not booked for next year and that way we can end earlier. The concert lasted 4+ hours ending past 11 pm. Please start earlier next year especially if it's on a Sat or Sun.

    Disappointed

    by Rad Max on 8/29/23

Was looking forward to this show, but couldnt believe how bad the vocalists sounded. Did no one do a sound check? How can you do that to your artists?

    80’s Live

    by Love 80’s on 8/29/23

I thought the bands/singers were great. The music seemed much louder causing the singers to sing over. No time for proper sound check. A revolving stage would have made things move along a lot quicker so next band could set up behind band performing (Microsoft Theater did this).. this would also allow for more than 2 songs per band, for those that had another one. Thanks! Always a good time listening to 80’s with good friends!

    Lost 80’s Concert

    by Robin on 8/29/23

Sadly I fell getting to my seats on the floor at the show. So the night had a rough start. Richard Blade did an amazing job and so did the DJ playing between sets. The acts did a great job, especially Wang Chung.

    Lost 80's

    by Andy on 8/29/23

Too many artists with gaps to re set up in the middle Concert was way too long Poor sound quality. 2/3 artists were not very good. Belinda Carlisle excellent but did not start until 11 pm - 4 hours after concert started - much too late!

    A trip back in time!

    by augydog1 on 8/29/23

Loved every minute! I loved every act's signature songs! 4.5 hours of dancing and feeling like a twenty year old when you are in your sixties....priceless!

    A Shining Light!

    by Marky-Mark on 8/29/23

Belinda Carlisle really seems to be coming into her own. Her live performances are so fun and joyous, and she really looks like she is enjoying herself on stage these days. Highly underrated in the US, I'm glad that she has a devoted following that follow her around the country.

Belinda great, Wang Chung OK, others so so

    by JCP on 8/29/23

Belinda performance pro, a cut above her sub-knee acts. Voice still great, she’s still beautiful. Richard Blade was funny and it was great to see him again after all these years. I didn’t understand the bright flood lights in the audience’s eyes between acts…it was extremely annoying and a clue that the promoters couldn’t read us well. The other acts were tired and old and very out of tune

    Belinda Is Heaven On Earth

    by Dwight Fry on 8/28/23

Her show at the House Of Blues/Las Vegas was great. She delivered 18 songs from her catalog, primarily solo material with a few Go Go's tunes. Her energy and voice were spot on. The band played every note perfectly. I am a huge fan of the song, "Leave A Light On"in part because of the George Harrison guitar solo in the recorded version. Her guitarist nailed it. She was all class and elegance dressed in a black sweater and shimmering gown. If you are a Belinda fan, especially her solo work, this is a must see show!

    Belinda Carlisle still shines!

    by Marky-Mark on 8/25/23

Belinda was amazing. She ran through much of her solo catalog of songs, along with 2 new singles from her album "Kismet". Still as beautiful as ever, she looks like she is really enjoying doing live performances more than ever.

    Too Loud

    by Dan on 8/25/23

Belinda did a terrific performance. However, whomever your sound person was left much to be desired. The sound was so loud that I could barely understand her words when she was talking. It was a great show. With a little fine tuning on the sound, and you will be just fine.

    Excellent show!

    by Mixter on 8/25/23

Belinda still sounds excellent. The show was a nice mixture of both old and new songs. She seems to be having fun on this tour and appeared to be much more appreciative of her band this time around.
