Great DJ. Great dancers. Great venue but I left early. Because: Needs better /impenetrable security. There was a fight that broke out on the dance floor. Everyone dressed only in jockstraps is sexy but also more vulnerable physically. Really killed the vibe for me. I felt unsafe.
I was very excited to go to the event and the atmosphere was beautiful with very friendly people and very nice music and very helpful staff. It was a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to go to the next one!!
Atmosphere was great, but the music got repetitive and lacked variety. The EDM dance vibes are great, but throw in some songs with lyrics and get the people singing along or interacting a bit. Some variety would go a long way to helping keep the event from getting stale year to year.
I usually love this event because the djs play music with actual words or just a variety of music in general. This year it was 4 hours of circuit music with the same beat. Absolutely awful and will not make this event a priority next time.
I am sure the VIP section had chairs and maybe tables but it would have help to have somewhere to put Drinks while you were standing around. Just standing in the middle of the floor was hard when you had dancing bears trying to enjoy the music also. We are use to the dancers being on stage but putting a barricade in front of it made it hard for tippers to enjoy the dancers and the dancers to work for their extra moneys. The Personal Touch in the bigger venue was lost but I am sure more tickets where bought.
Quick process to get into the event, efficient bar staff, fun atmosphere, and most importantly, felt safe the whole event!
Had a good time! But was an extremely small venue for the amount of guys in there. Might just be my personal taste, but being that packed/loud made it a little stressful for me (speaking as a single guy who went alone).
This was the first time me and my husband attended Bearracuda and it was amazing, so great to be around others of the same size. Can’t wait to go again next year.
The DJ was boring and derivative, I’m confident he was using the same playlist as last year. At one point the DJ was missing for 15 minutes but the music was still going. There aren’t even visuals… why prerecord?
Bearracuda was an awesome experience! The specialty drinks were so gay and delicious, I loved them all! The music was lit and with all the different guys of shapes and sizes, I didn’t feel self-conscious at all! I’m fact I danced my heart out without a shirt, got a guys number, and made out with multiple men! Truly an experience I shan’t forget! I look forward to the next Bearracuda event!!!
