Not only was the music awesome, the band was funny too. They are the BOMB!!!
It was an awesome concert, crowd was great, seats were great and band was very entertaining to the crowd. Would go again if they come back
The concert was awesome. They rocked. Loved the new album. BNL is one of the only bands left out there where all members are great singers.
Even without Steven Page BNL totally rocked! The band's live stage presence was amazing with their quick wit and incredible musical talent. Funny and spontaneous, they played old and new songs with traditional BNL style. The Tropicana was a great venue and I would totally see them again!
I had such a good time. Parking was easy. Crowd was not too big. The show just ROCKED! Loved how the band went from one song right to the next. Loved the lineup they played.
This concert was amazing!! Ingrid Michaelson opened with a great performance. Her voice is beautiful. She is very talented. Her backup singers have incredible voices that added to the great experience. BNL rocked! Their music and singing exceeded every expectation you could possible have had.
Amazing performance by the Ladies on Saturday night in Atlantic City. I had some tears in my eyes during You Run Away thinking about the absence of Steve, but the foursome put on an incredible show. The set-list was an eclectic mix of old and new, with some truly powerful acoustic numbers. Although I do miss Steve, BnL is still the same BnL I know, just grown up a bit. They're still as entertaining as ever with their ad-libs and anecdotes. They will always be my #1s!
The concert was fabulous, and funny which makes it personable. My only complaint was I could not see I am just under 5 feet tall and when everyone stood (which I did not expect) I was forced to go to tippy toe mode, which after 30 minutes is very difficult to do. Wish someone would have at least asked people to remove hats or something so that all could enjoy the music and show on stage.
This was one of the best nights of my life... The whole band is a blast and you can tell how much they love what they do and that makes for a great show! Was also very happy that they played the 2 songs that I wanted to hear most!
What a great concert. From the opening act of Ingrid Michaelson to the main event, I was laughing-singing-dancing. Barenaked Ladies are as fresh as they were ten years ago. Fun and lively and far from boring. The sound was excellent. I enjoyed both the old songs and the new.
Another great show by BNL. They came out with a few of the BNL favorites, did some stuff of the new album and then whipped it back up with the well known hits. Like always they are funny and do some great ad libs throughout the show. I have never seen a bad BNL show and I have seen many. I was lucky enough to meet them before the show and they were all great guys. Very friendly and warm hosts. Ingrid Michealson was the opener and if you are lucky enough to ever get to see her DO IT!. She was funny and incredibly talented. Flawless singer with incredibly hooky tunes.
Opening act, Ingrid Michaelson was great! Excellent music and very funny! BNL was on top of their game. Great music, great stage presents and very entertaining. Love their new CD, glad to see them moving forward with the band and music.
Never heard of Ingred Michaelson before she opened for BNL, she is a great performer with a very talented voice. Very enjoyable to listen to. BNL put on a great show, played a lot from their new album as well as from "Barenaked Ladies are men". Played some of their more popular songs that most know, but I was glad they played in large, songs you really have to be a true BNL fan to recognize. High point for me was "Pollywog In a Bog" from Snacktime. Could not believe it when I heard it. My daughter and I sing this all the time.
Great venue for this awesome band! Playing a mix of their older music with their new songs, they never disappoint! Changes in the band have not diminished their quality and sound. Love them!
I have been a huge BNL fan for over 15 years. I had mixed emotions on how the show would go after Steven Page's departure. As always the band never disappoints. They played old songs and new songs. They played songs that Steven usually sang, and I was presently surprised with their rendition of those songs. Same BNL with awesome chemistry! Keep up the great work guys.
Once again...BNL knocks it out of the park here in Grand Rapids. The always inventive group never lets me down whenever I see them in concert!
Barenaked Ladies have always perfomed wonderfully live! Ingrid Michaelson as an opener matched perfectly with the wit and humor BNL fans have become so accustomed to! The band still shines even without Stephen Page. Was a little worried what they'd be with out him, but they're as great as they've always been or better! Bravo
...I would have bought all of my friends tickets to last night's amazing show. Ingrid Michaelson opened and was fantastic and hilarious, followed by BNL in all their glory. It was a great show, and Devos is an excellent venue - intimate but can accomidate a decent sized crowd. It was my first time seeing BNL in the flesh, and it didn't disappoint. Great night!
While we all miss Steve's amazing vocals, fabulous duets with Ed and goofy antics we still love the Barenaked Ladies and enjoyed the show. They did a good job.
Waht a great concert. The venue was smaller than the Van Andel and made crowd interaction with the band really cool. COuld have listened for even longer.!
