Widely acknowledged as one of the best live acts on the planet, BNL has hosted a cruise, had their own Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor, and participated in the first-ever “space-to-earth musical collaboration” with astronaut  Chris  Hadfield. To date, BNL has amassed eight JUNO  Awards, garnered two GRAMMY nominations and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. BNL’s 18th studio album, In Flight, was released in 2023 and features 14 brand new studio recordings. It’s available everywhere you stream music.

  • Great show!

by BNLFanboy on 5/24/10Keller Auditorium - PortlandRating: 4 out of 5

BNL minus SP is still very much BNL! It was great seeing them tackle SP songs, and between Ed and Kevin, the songs were still top notch. The banter, as always, was great, and funny. The lineup of songs was good, but sadly, because they have so much music, it was inevitable that some of my favs weren't sung (call and answer, the bank job), but having said that, they sure were generous with their back catalog!

  • Don't cha just love em???!!!!

    by Scooterbug1111 on 5/24/10Keller Auditorium - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

So great to see the Barenaked Ladies back in Portland. They are such a talented, fun group that I could watch for hours. Ed, of course, is still gorgeous and has an amazing voice and talent with rhymns and stories. The band's banter and "silly" songs show off their good natured fun and abliities. Love the new album. Loved they played many of their oldies but goodies. Saw them several years ago- missed Steven Page and the talent and variety he brought. My teenage boys loved them as well. BNL are one of the more talented bands out there- and are NORMAL! The opening act was Serena Ryder. What a fun new singer to add to my list of favorites. She is talented and funny. Fantastic voice and guitarist. Would love to see her again... maybe the Edgefield??? She would be a great fit with the BNL.

  • Barenaked Ladies...Could you ask for more!

by grabbydave on 5/22/10Toledo Zoo Amphitheater - ToledoRating: 5 out of 5

WOW!!! I took my mid 20ish year old oldest daughter to the show with me because this group is from her generation. I didn't realize it but I had bought her tickets to the "ladies" several years ago when they were in town. She said they put on a really fabulous show and she wasn't wrong. From the start of their set the place just rocked. As part of the older generation I was amazed that I had heard many of their songs before. They just moved from one song to the next...threw in some stories and made up some songs...We aboth really enjoyed the show and didn't want them to stop playing. A truely great evening!!!!

  • Barenaked Ladies still bring it!

    by 3Dipper2Stripper on 5/21/10Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

We've seen many BNL concerts since the mid-nineties -- including on all three cruises -- so we are really familiar with their live shows. We were really sad to see Steve leave the band and we'll always love that big rich voice of his and wish him well on his new projects. That said, we were thrilled with Monday night's concert in Minneapolis. The energy, humor and great performance we've come to know were all there -- perhaps even more than in the latter stages of their original carnation. The almost 2-hour set was well paced, nice mix of old and new, and we loved the way that Kevin, Jim and Tyler stepped up to the front to fill the front row. As a long-time fan, we were so happy to see the guys come out with fresh energy and focus and allow us to keep the faith that BNL is here to stay.

  • BNL rocks!!

by ksdoli on 5/21/10DeVos Performance Hall - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was the best! I have never seen BNL so close. Really had an awesome time.

  • So much fun!

by DBod on 5/21/10Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The energy and the fun packed into this show is off the charts. I have been a fan of BNL for a long time. However, having their CDs does not show the musical depth of this band. Their ability to harmonize and to improvise is unparralled. I will be going again to see if I just happened to catch a really fun show or if this is their concert standard. Great music. Fantastic fun.

  • Barenaked Ladies was Excellent

This is the first time I have ever seen BNL. I will definately go to see them again. Very entertaining and comical.

First time I got to see the Ladies in concert. What an enjoyable evening. Thanks for a great show!

The lead singer was missed. The band's chemistry is not the same and it made a difference in my experience. Loved the venue!

2nd Barenaked Ladies concert. Love the improvised songs!

  • Barenaked Ladies Rocked out!!

The concert was great!! Band was better than ever!

  • Barenaked Ladies Rocks On

by Waja on 5/19/10Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

Great Show. Levity, spontaneity, personality, personalization and engagement with the audience. And, as always, incredible harmonies and sound.

  • I love this band!

by Anonymous on 5/19/10Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I may be bias, because this is my favorite band of all time, but I really loved this show! Stephen Page might not be with the band any longer, but these guys can still rock and put on one hell of a show! I came in and found Serina Ryder... a young artist alone onstage with an accustic guitar. She was OWNING the theater! I was surprised and fell in love with her music on spot. So much power. A GREAT opening act! Then, came the main event, BNL! They played a great set well balanced with plenty of new stuff as well as fan favorites. This band knows how to have a great time, and make this contagious for the audience. They were in great spirits and couldn't have been more kind, approachable, or humble at the stage door. I look forward to seeing them again!

  • Barenaked Ladies provided a very entertaining show

    by verydisappointed3 on 5/19/10Adler Theatre - DavenportRating: 4 out of 5

The band was very energetic, funny and entertaining. They played a nice variety of their songs, old and new, and were also pretty in coming up with impromptu moments.

  • Didn't want it to end!

    by bnlfan2 on 5/19/10Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The beginning started a little slow, but towards the end, they were rockin' it. They really put on a good show. Non-stop music. The new mixed in with the old. They also take the time to know where they are playing and had a good 5-10 minutes of custom singing. I think the santa skit was totally ad lib. Couldn't have been better.

  • Barenaked Ladies are AWESOME!

by BeccaebK on 5/19/10Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was fantastic. Barenaked Ladies really know how to put on a show. They played all their popular old favorites along with a ton of new stuff sprinkled in. They area also so funny to watch. This was my 3rd or 4th time seeing them, and I would go back in a heart beat!. The opening act was also fantastic!

  • by chillymama on 5/19/10Toledo Zoo Amphitheater - ToledoRating: 4 out of 5

I've loved these guys forever and totally loved seeing them live. I didn't know the opener, so I wasn't really interested in her. Though, she did have a good sense of humor. But, we had to wait almost a half hour for BNL to come on stage. Between the wait and the really uncomfortable seats, we were getting restless. Overall, the band put on a stellar show and they sound just as awesome live as they do on their cd's. Would totally watch them again!

  • Barenaked Ladies Still Rock!

    by ECMD94 on 5/18/10Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

We were slightly worried after the loss of Steven Page that BNL would really sound a lot different. They compensated well, though the depth of voices was not as robust as it was when there were 5. Nevertheless, they are EVER the entertainers and really introduced their new material well. The ad lib moments, as usual, stole the show, interspersed with familiar, well loved tunes and new ones.

  • Missed Steve - But Still Good

by JSTMN on 5/18/10Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

We last saw BNL a few years ago when they insisted on playing every song from their new album but not many of the classics. (No "Pinch Me" nor "Million Dollars.") At the time, they also appeared to not be having much fun. Last night's show was much better. The fun was back. Joking improv. Most of the classics. All the reasons to see BNL. Sure, you definitely miss the sound of Steven Page - but they do a decent job filling in.

  • BARENAKED LADIES TWIN CITIES

by Doppplebock on 5/18/10Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 3 out of 5

i am a great fan of the Barenaked Ladies. The band and audience were much more receptive of the older songs than the new album with the exception of "You Run Away". The fans were very support of the band. The band lacked the energy they have typically shown with the exception of Jim. Ed had some great moments and good comments during the show. This show was the fourth in a row and the band looked like they needed the upcoming two day break.
