About

B2K In Concert

For a whirlwind two years in the early 2000s, boy band B2K held the world in their sensitive but rugged palms, creating bouncy, hip-hop–enhanced R&B with P. Diddy ("Bump, Bump, Bump") and even starring in a blockbuster dance drama (You Got Served) that showcased their lithe bodies and voices equally. Though the group split up in 2004, late 2018 brought the welcome news that Omarion, Fizz, Boog, and Raz-B are back together and ready to inspire screams and swoons around the U.S. with The Millennium Tour, a bill stacked with names who also call up the flash and flirtation of the aughts: Pretty Ricky, Chingy, Mario, Lloyd, and more.

Boys of the New Millennium, as they're officially known, began as four ambitious kids mostly from southern Los Angeles (Inglewood, Compton, Watts) brought together by industry veteran Chris Stokes, the guru behind predecessors Immature/IMx. But after B2K dropped a self-titled debut in 2002 — filled with slinky bump-n-grinders like "Gots Ta Be" and jiggy dance grooves like "Uh Huh" — it was clear they had a seductive magic all their own. Their recurring spots on the legendary, aptly named Scream tours were thrilling combinations of synchronized dance, perfect harmonies, and intimate interactions with an audience that never stopped squealing.

As their faces plastered the walls of more and more teens' bedrooms around the world, B2K worked tirelessly to please, releasing a splashy holiday collection called Santa Hooked Me Up (don't sleep on the swagged-up "Sexy Boy Christmas") and a second album, Pandemonium!, both before the dawn of 2003. The new songs expertly paired percussive production evoking Timbaland and the Neptunes with grade A songwriting by the likes of R. Kelly ("Girlfriend"). All of the boys' lyrical boasting and heartbreaking was backed up by their starring roles in and guest-studded soundtrack for 2004 flick You Got Served, which remains a cult favorite.

While B2K called it quits that same year, their talent, success, and youth ensured more to come. Lead man Omarion became a Grammy-nominated master of bedroom-oriented R&B and also joined rapper Fizz on VH1's Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. Boog and Raz-B have also pursued careers across music and film/TV, occasionally crossing paths with their bandmates, but few outside endeavors have stirred up as much fervor as the B2K reunion announcement.

  • I felt like a teenager again!

by Mimi on 4/24/19UNO Lakefront Arena - New OrleansRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was everything and more! Every last artist that hit that stage was amazing! It all reminded me of the last Scream Tour that I went to when I was around 16-17. B2K looked and sounded amazing! I wish I could catch another show but this night in New Orleans will forever be one of the best moments of my life :)

  • AMAZING!

by Foxx on 4/24/19UNO Lakefront Arena - New OrleansRating: 5 out of 5

All of the performers were amazing!!! Seeing B2K sent an amazing feeling through my body! Tons of emotions developed. This was truly needed after 15 years! The concert was pretty long so by the time it was over we were truly exhausted. Mario was a great performer but all of the slow songs started putting us to sleep a little. He was great & still has an amazing voice but killed the vibe a little. Overall, this concert was exactly what was needed! We can definitely say we felt like we were reliving our teenage years all over again!!! Thank you to the initiators of this event!

The show was wonderful. I enjoyed ALL of the performances. B2K showed up & put as if they were still teens. I would go to another show. Can’t wait for the next tour.

  • Show was great.. VIP, not so much

by CJ on 4/24/19UNO Lakefront Arena - New OrleansRating: 4 out of 5

I shouldn’t have wasted my money on the VIP experience. It was a waste in my opinion. No order at all for the pictures. The show was amazing though.

  • Bomb Ass Show

by Ivory on 4/24/19UNO Lakefront Arena - New OrleansRating: 5 out of 5

It’s Not Really Much To Say Other Than They Gave A Good Ass Show, I’m Thinking About Catching It Again In Another State TBH.

  • Amazing

  • Millennium Tour is a True Nostalgia Tour

    by M. L. on 4/24/19UNO Lakefront Arena - New OrleansRating: 4 out of 5

The entire show was amazing. Every artist sounded amazing. It was truly nostalgic. I felt 16 all over again. If you grew up in the artist prime, this concert is for you. Only change I would make is the set order and duration of the sets. It definitely could have gone longer. Overall, worth every penny.

  • Exciting

The concert was so much fun and energetic. I just wish they would have gave us the same experience Atlanta received.

  • Millennium Tour 2019

by RahMack on 4/24/19UNO Lakefront Arena - New OrleansRating: 5 out of 5

It was amazing! Regardless to my seats being in the nosebleeds it was well worth the money! My entire childhood was before me; although now I’m legal 😏 IT WAS THE BEST!!!! I just hope that they could do a second Millennium Tour and be on time, and I wish they could have it at the Smoothie King Center. Please next time invite B5, Bow Wow, Lil’ Zhane, & Soulja Boy. Then it’ll really be lit.

  • AMAZING!!!

by Blaxk Beauty on 4/24/19UNO Lakefront Arena - New OrleansRating: 5 out of 5

I LOVED the show. I have been waiting since I was 12 years old to see B2K in concert and now I finally have. It was everything I have ever dreamed up. I wish I could have went to the VIP Experience to meet them, but hopefully I will be presented with another opportunity.

Took me back to the best days! Although I’ve never seen B2K in concert (they broke up when I was a kid), I love their music! Everyone did so well and were so entertaining, they definitely gave us al a slice of a generation we didn’t know we’d miss and yearn! Cannot wait for more artists to take us back!

This concert was lit! It was very organized and well put together. From the beginning to end I was up dancing. The comedian they had while they were changing stage sets was fun and engaging as well. You won’t be disappointed with this show
