Average White Band Tickets

The farewell tour was all of that!! I’ve been fans of AWB since the late 70s and they did not disappoint. Their songs and performances were the same as they were back then. I really enjoyed the concert and wish it wasn’t their farewell tour.

Our adult daughters 33 & 39 knew none of the songs but LOVED the music and are new fans

Saw them over 50 years ago. They still have the same energy and drive as back then. Happy I got to see them perform for the last time at the Birchmere!

The Birchmere house was packed with a great appreciative audience that ‘picked up the pieces’ of the AWB’s amazing career. So many good people were up on their feet, dancing in place to deeply heartfelt and soulfully known classics. A great and memorable evening.

We enjoyed every minute of the show! The audience was diverse & everyone had a great time.

What a fantastic concert in a beautiful concert hall. Every single musician was spot on and sounded great. The sax players are superb!!! We had such an enjoyable evening and can't wait to see them again.

One of the BEST concerts I’ve attended-There is absolutely nothing average about this band - they ROCKED the house from beginning to end ,leaving us wanting more-everyone that could stand was on their feet majority the entire show-for me SCHOOL BOY CRUSH and A LOVE OF YOUR OWN was definitely the highlight for me-I will attend their concerts every opportunity that I have-A MUST SEE-MONEY WELL SPENT ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I enjoyed every song and performance of AWB. It was like we stepped back into the 70's.

As an original AWB Fan from back in the day, and my instant connection with them musically as a musician tied to both Jazz, R&B, and Funk, I loved them then..., and the current touring group did not disappoint. I had a great evening re-living an evening of some of my favorite music, including the timeline of selections played from their initial release all the way up to their most recent popular tunes, and of course all of their charted hits that for a group popular that far back, had a large portion of the house up and dancing and moving on their feet, fully engaged like I was. I enjoyed their tribute selections to Maceo Parker and Joe Sample, from different musical genres, their reminder of a tune that Chaka Khan exploded on the charts with her vocals as a reminder that they were the original creators of the song and a note to give due credit where credit is due which is often not the case in music, so much respect! Overall, I was not only impressed by their level of musicality together, their vocal quality and coordination together, and their overall stage energy, presence, showmanship, and personality and sincerity and level of exchange of energy with their audience. To say the least... This was AWESOME!!!

The sound system at the Music Hall was awesome, every note could be heard. All the seats provided a good view. The drinks are over priced.

This was a great concert in a fabulous venue. The crowd was aware of all the songs they performed and sang and danced in their seats.

It took me back to my teen years. The band was awesome and great singing.

Brought my 34 year old son with me and we really enjoyed the show. The band was great and the venue was perfect for the show.

That was one of the best concerts that I have ever been to! We were celebrating my husband's birthday! The music bought back alot of memories from when we were dating back in high school! An Absolutely Amazing performance!

AWB, what more needs to be said! These guys never disappoint. I’m old school and they have been my favorite for 50 years. I see them every year because they don’t disappoint. 4-22 , at the Birchmere was another opportunity to see these guys in action. They absolutely love playing music. Their catalog is so vast ( hint , listen to all their cd’s, you will be shocked) that they can’t play everything, but my night was made when they played If I ever lose this heaven. They are getting up there in age like all of us , but if you have never seen AWB live, do yourself a favor and go see these cats, who originated from Scotland. You won’t be disappointed. AWB , I salute you, well done. Brilliant, simply Brilliant.

The AWB is simply timeless! That was one of the best concerts I’ve seen in a while. The sound was perfect. Very crisp and clean. Not too loud, simply superb! They are true musicians to the core and I just simply enjoyed myself to the fullest. I can’t wait to see them again and the next time, I’m bringing my family of musicians. And I can’t end without saying something about the African American lead vocalist. What a magnificent addition to the band. He is awesome and very easy on the eyes. Overall, a 10 performance for all from the vocalists to the drummer the keyboard player the sexy original band members and that horn section, absolutely the BEST! I have always loved the Average White Band but to see them this good after all these years is a amazing. The three original guys has added great replacements to their group. And now that I am getting back out due to covid I will see them the next time they are near me.

Honestly, I got the tickets because my husband grew up listening to this band and he would often tell me this is real music (Not a person up there on a 1 & 2 with a bunch of hype people)...but real music. OMG is all I can say. I loved watching them play and listening to the different sounds. It makes you appreciate music. The AWB did not disappoint...well they did leave us wanting to hear and experience more good sounds from them.
