About

In 2012, a single titled “Trojans” gained online notoriety overnight and quickly edged its way into alternative radio locality in the United States. The source of the successful first effort was a sibling duo from Adelaide, Australia called Atlas Genius. Once fronting as a rock cover band while they built their recording studio, brothers Keith and Michael Jeffery quickly capitalized on their international recognition with their first EP,Through The Glass, in June of that year. Their first full-length album, When It Was Now, debuted on February 19, 2013 via Warner Bros. Records.

Three for the price of one

by melbwmn on 10/25/13Summit Music Hall - Denver

What a great show! Happy Hollows was the opening, opening band and the lead singer had a haunting, infectious voice and energy. The opening band was Family of the Year and they had a folksy, fun style that was great to watch. I was equally impressed that everyone in the band sang. The highlight of the show of course was headliner Atlas Genius who put on an energetic and light-filled show. They sounded amazing and they played all of their best songs. I would recommend this show to anyone who loves alternative music!

by Magus17 on 10/23/13Summit Music Hall - Denver

I go to a lot of shows, and I have to say the three bands overall put on one of the best show's I've seen (since System of a Down @ Fiddler's). happy hollows was surprisingly good. bought their 2 CDs & a t-shirt- all for $40! Atlas genius & Family of the Year both put on amazing shows. The crowd at the Summit was into it, and the bands responded accordingly- excellent overall!!!

    Atlas Genius was amazing!

by BRgirl on 10/21/13House of Blues Orlando - Orlando

The opening band, Little Commet was excellent and I look forward to hearing them on the radio! Atlas Genius was perfect live! Sang perfectly and the sound was great! I've seen them at a bigger radio event, but seeing almost any band at the House of Blues is always an amazing experience, so up close and personal! Loved it!

I have to say, this my first time at Center Stage. There is not one bad seat in the whole place. That was a pleasant surprise. I loved the fact that I was able to get close to the band and they did a great show. I love Atlas Genius! The drummer was insane!!

Atlas Genius was really good live! I only wish they would have played longer. I took my 12 year old daughter, whom is a big fan & she loved them.

    Great Band!!

by Mgs3 on 10/20/13Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

I first found out about Atlas Genius when they opened up for Imagine Dragons at the Tabernacle in Atlanta this past February and loved them! They are so talented and some of the most polite and nicest people. I loved every single second of the concert, and the fact that they take the time to do a meet and greet with the fans after their shows is incredible. I definitely recommend seeing these guys!

    ATLAS GENIUS WAS AMAZING!

by altonymous on 10/20/13Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

Atlas Genius are absolutely amazing live. They're very interactive with the audience and sound fantastic. If you get a chance to meet them, they are the nicest guys. I can't wait for them to come back! On a side note, Little Comets, one of their opening acts, was also fantastic. I would love to see them again as well. I wasn't as big of a fan of Family of the Year, simply because they just don't play my kind of music. I just had a hard time getting into it.

All three artists were fantastic. Family of the Year rocked, and the lights and fog for Atlas Genius blew me away... got to meet the band after the show, they were very nice and told us how much they appreciated us coming out.

    Great set and great guys

by karazzy22 on 10/16/13The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

Keith and Mike rocked every song they played. They also stayed behind after the show to take pictures and talk with fans. It was an awesome concert and I wouldn't hesitate to see them again. Only downside was that the rest of the crowd wasn't as energetic as I would have liked it to be.

I would see them 823792738 more times!

by AtlasGeniusWasAmazing on 10/16/13The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

I've seen Atlas Genius once before- when they were touring with Imagine Dragons. I've been to a good number of concerts and this is definitely in my top three. The lead singer was great at engaging the crowd and overall they put on a great show. And they changed up their songs a little bit so that they were longer- like for Back Seat here was an epic guitar solo in the middle of it. I personally wish I could buy all their songs over again live because it was better than the versions on iTunes. And you know how opening bands are usually supposed to suck? Well these sure didn't. The opening bands (Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. and Family of the Year) were spectacular. They did not hold out at all and I felt like I was at one of their own concerts!

    ATLAS GENIUS WAS INCREDIBLE!!!

by Jordannnnnn on 10/16/13The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

Atlas Genius put on an incredible show. They really know how to get the crowd moving, even if the crowd didn't know their music! Each song they played sounded exactly like the album version. Keith, the singer and guitar player, kept the crowd entertained throughout! One of the most amazing shows I have been to, would definitely see them again. Also, they're very genuine...I got a picture with them and they signed the setlist that I got from the concert, and can't forget about their Australian accents :)

Great show! The opening bands did a great job warming up the crowd, and starting us off with excitement. Atlas Genius played a great set. Keith was very interactive with the audience. The energy was very positive throughout the entire experience. I would definitely recommend attending a show of theirs, if in your area.

Atlas Genius - Great way to spend a Friday night

by LexiD0odle on 10/14/13Irving Plaza powered by Klipsch - New York

Ever since I heard "Trojans" on AltNation, I've been in love with Atlas Genius. I saw them earlier this year at Firefly Music Festival, and I really wanted to see them in a more intimate setting. Irving Plaza was a great venue for this. The staff there is great, and the other concert goers were equally awesome. Dale Earnhardt Jr Jr are really fun and dancy, and got the crowd warmed up nicely. Family of the Year was neat as well; they kept the momentum going. And Atlas Genius - well they were superb! They sound amazing live; and they look so comfortable on stage. I bought some merch after the show, which enabled me to get a wristband for the meet and greet. I'm really glad I did that, because Keith and Michael are super nice. I would see them again. And again. And again.
