In 2012, a single titled “Trojans” gained online notoriety overnight and quickly edged its way into alternative radio locality in the United States. The source of the successful first effort was a sibling duo from Adelaide, Australia called Atlas Genius. Once fronting as a rock cover band while they built their recording studio, brothers Keith and Michael Jeffery quickly capitalized on their international recognition with their first EP,Through The Glass, in June of that year. Their first full-length album, When It Was Now, debuted on February 19, 2013 via Warner Bros. Records.
Atlas Genius played their whole album. Sounded great live!
if Atlas Genius played at danforth music hall once a week I would be at every show!. Such an amazing band cant wait to see them again
Excellent live band. Great energy. Awesome music!!
I had no idea, I was going to have so much fun. The opening acts were great! I loved Dale Earnhardt Jr Jr, they were awesome! I cant stop listening to them now. Family of the year were good too, but i enjoyed jr jr way better. And of course save the best for last Atlas Genius just killed it. They are so generous taking the time on meeting fans. I love love them!
This was a gift for my boys. I have three teenagers and I purchased these tickets for them. They said it was the best concert ever because they were able to meet the band. Thank you not only to the band for taking the time to meet with the fans but to who ever made this possible!
Great concert! Great live! great stage set up! awesome drinks
All three bands were terrific. I saw Atlas Genius at Bunbury so I was looking forward to hearing a longer set by them. Loved the music, but hated the light show. I wound up spending much of the show with my eyes closed because they kept shining laser spots into the audience.
A few nights before the show, my fiance and I looked up Pacific Air & Haerts and were very impressed with them! We thought both of these bands were exceptional live and sounded just like their recorded songs. They're both original and creative, I absolutely loved both of them! Atlas Genius also blew us away. I feel like you can always tell when someone loves what they do, whether it's making drinks at Starbucks or being a rock star, that vibe makes any experience enjoyable and this was no different. They were fun, sounded great, and put on a great show. I recommend them to anyone who likes good music, whether they're familiar with them or not. It was a great time!
Great Band...sounds better live than on the album...must see in a small setting...better hurry before they start playing in stadiums....every song had something you liked in it
Literally, the best show I've been to all year (and I've been to about 10 so far). Haerts was an amazing opener, her voice is KILLER! Pacific Air were literally as good, if not better than Atlas Genius. But then Atlas Genius rocked the house. So energetic and entertaining.
Great performance at a fun venue. The lead singer was very friendly. He hung around the bar before the show and met all of his fans afterwards for a handshake! A true class act
They banged through their first album but had fun with it. Good stage presence, tight, and energetic.
Atlas Genius has come onto the American music scene in a whirlwind of anticipation for me. I first heard their song "Trojans" on the radio and immediately set out to hear everything else they had to offer. I pre-ordered their album having only heard one of their songs. This is a first for me with a band that wasn't already an established favorite of mine. With each new song on their album my favorite changed because every song was better than the last! I tried, unsuccessfully, to see them play at a venue near my home with Imagine Dragons but a few weeks later they announced more shows and I rushed to order my tickets at the Norva. I drove 3 hours there and 3 hours back getting home at 2:30AM, but it was SO WORTH IT! Their openers suited them tremendously and I got a new favorite band out of it (seriously, Pacific Air released their first album that very day and I bought it on iTunes as I listened to them play their set). If you like Atlas Genius at all, now is the time to see them. Their next tour might not be in such an intimate venue.
I had seen this band earlier this year before their album came out, and decided then that I would definitely be at their next concert. They played beautifully and interacted with the audience in a great way. I must say that they are very high on my list of favorites.
Can't wait to see ALL of the goups that performed again.
Had a great evening with Atlas Genius! They were awesome live. Got to meet Keith afterwards and he was so sweet and down to earth. Love them and would def see again, and again!
They structured their set list perfectly, and did a great job pumping up the crowd. Haerts and Postelles were good openers too, but the excitement didn't hit the crowd until AG stepped out. Would love to see them again one day especially with some new material as the band continues to grow.
The concert was so much more amazing than I could ever have imagined! I had never heard of the opening acts before, but they were really impressive, fun, and pumped up the crowd. I immediately downloaded their songs when I got home after the concert. I thought the crowd was great, they were really interactive and I even made some friends around me! When Atlas Genius got on I could not stop smiling. Keith came into the audience right in front of me twice and everyone went wild. It was the best concert I have ever been to!
The whole line-up was great, but Atlas Genius killed as expected. They took command of the stage and involved the audience at any opportunity. Keith jumped into the crowd right into us! They played non-stop! I couldn't believe when it was over. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Seeing them again soon!
The music was great. The band is doing it the right way! They had an amazing set list and an extremely energetic performance. The band stayed after the show and did a meet and greet with fans and stayed until everyone else was finished. I would love to see them again!
