ZZ Top Concert Schedule
ZZ Top is a legendary American rock band known for their blues-infused rock music, bawdy lyrics and long, red beards. ZZ Top tours include the 2017 Tonnage Tour, 2016 Hell Raisers Tour, and the 2013 La Futura Tour. ZZ Top live shows leave the audience laughing dancing and feeling like they are at a jam session with close friends, instead of a concert headlined by rock and roll legends. Their massive success has allowed all of their albums to reach gold or platinum status. The band's best selling album is 1983's Eliminator, which spawned the hit singles "Legs" and "Sharped Dress Man." The album went on to sell 10 million units, reaching diamond status and the 25 million records they've sold in the U.S. makes them one of the top 100 selling artists in the country. ZZ Top has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004.
ZZ Top Background
ZZ Top formed in 1969 in Houston Texas with guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbon, organist Lanier Greig and drummer Dan Mitchell. The name of the band came from Gibbons combining the names of B.B. King and Z.Z. Hill, when he noticed that many artists used their initials as their band's name. When ZZ King seemed too close to the originals he changed it to ZZ Top. The current lineup of the band consists of bassist and lead vocalist Dusty Hill, Billy Gibbon and drummer Frank Beard. ZZ Top's signature sound can best be described as blues-infused rock with elements of punk rock and new wave added through their use synthesizers. While Eliminator was the band's most successful album with 10 million albums sold, 1985's Afterburner was their highest charting album. All the singles from Afterburner were Top 40 hits and the album itself went on to sell five million copies. Other Top 40 singles include 1975's "Tush," 1977's "I Thank You," and 1981's "Gimme All Your Lovin'"Follow ZZ Top on social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook.

The sound system could have been better. They sounded great and played for quite a while, but the concert seemed to end abruptly. They walked off and we all assumed they would be back for an encore and suddenly the lights came on and everyone started leaving. They had not done Sunglasses or Tush! Not sure if something happened, if it was a mixup, or what!
Great concert. Atmosphere was great. Food prices reasonable. Entrance of area confusing
We just saw ZZ Top in Prescott Valley, AZ and they put on a fantastic show. Billy Gibbons still has his iconic voice, Frank Beard still crushes the drumbs, and Dusty Hill would be proud of Elwood Francis on the bass.
Wasn’t sure what to expect but they put on a great show. They still look and sound the same!
ZZ Top and Skynyrd in one night? YES! What a night of Southern ROCK at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi. RIP DUSTY
ZZ Top is ALWAYS worthwhile and fabulous! Black Stone Cherry was WAY WAY WAY TOO LOUD! We were up high in the back and even there everyone around us as well as my husband and I had to cover our ears! If the music was the same volume as ZZ Top it would have been tolerable.
ZZ top was the best, great performance. Kept me dancing in my chair
ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd rocked the house! They have stood the test of time and are still two must see bands! They are legends!
I have loved this band since like 20 years ago and finally had the opportunity to go see them and I was not disappointed
Definitely a great concert. Brought back memories of my youth.
I’m so glad I finally got to see ZZ Top perform. I was blown away. Truly a legend band. LOVE them
It was a really good concert. The bands were excellent even better live. The place was in good standing clean. The only thing that could have been a little better, is the sound system. I certain levels it sounded a little bit distorted . To a point where sometimes it was hard to understand when they sang. However, besides that it was great.
Awesome, all three bands were great. Of course ZZTOP my favorite.
Very quick and easy process to buy tickets and access the venue.
Great concert beginning to end. ZZ Top was the absolute best of this group. First saw them in 76 and they are just as great today as they were the, even without Dusty (RIP). Lynyrd Skynyrd was good but overall slightly boring. Black Stone Cherry had a lot of energy but way too loud for my taste.
Loved the concert! Have seen them since the early 70’s at Stardust in CC. Only problem was sound was so loud you could not understand a word they sang. Good thing we knew all the words..
ZZ Top - great, as usual. Encore was even better. Less than underwhelmed with Skynard - really disappointed in that. Way too loud. These 71 yr old ears with <50% hearing were blasted. Hearing aids completely off. Left after 2md song. Black Stone Cherry was pretty good.
We had great seats and the three bands were awesome. It was one hell of a night in Corpus Christi Tx.
my 7th ZZTop concert. they have ALWAYS put on some of the best concerts you will ever experience. if you want a great show, great entertainment, and great music ... ZZTop is it ... but ... with Lynyrd Skynyrd (3rd time together) = the very best there is and i have seen a lot of concerts in my lifetime.
