Bluesy singer/songwriter Bonnie Raitt has worked long and hard for her multiple Grammy Awards, hit singles and chart-topping records. Since her 1971 eponymous debut, the California-born performer and long-time activist has steadily maintained a music career, albeit with definite peaks and valleys. The red-headed songstress, one of the only women of her time to play guitar using the bottleneck technique, unleashed seven albums in just nine years, though her big commercial break came with her 10th studio set, 1989’s “Nick of Time.” That 11-track collection, produced by Don Was, earned three Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.
Not only has the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer tackled multiple U.S. tours and international runs, but she’s also a frequent participant in events of social activism, such as Farm Aid and Amnesty International concerts.
Raitt’s 16th full-length album and most recent studio release, “Slipstream,” hit retailers in 2012. Not only did ticket sales for the support tour soar, but Raitt also landed the best-selling blues album of the year and took home the Grammy for Best Americana Album.

Bonnie is always great, but I felt as if she was holding back some. I suppose at her age she needs to pace herself while on tour.
Bonnie is as great as ever. Have been a big fan since her early days and I never tire of seeing her. Wonderful!
Bonnie Raitt was phenomenal. I haven't seen her live in decades and her voice, guitar playing and audience engagement were top notch.
Bonnie was great! Didn’t like the warmup band. Off key a lot, and all songs sounded the same.
Bonnie was fantastic and she show was very well done by all of the band
This was such an amazing concert. As always she was fabulous.
Bonnie Raitt has been on my concert bucket list for a long time and I was so glad it finally worked out that I got to see her. She's 74 years old now and she still sounds great. I love her slide guitar style and she can still kill it. She played one song on electric piano. Highlights included "Something To Talk About", "I Can't Make You Love Me", "Angel From Montgomery"(performed with Beth Neilsen Chapman) and a surprise cover of Talking Heads "Burning Down The House". It was a fantastic night and I'm seeing her again later in the year in my hometown.
Excellent concert. My only complaint is the seating is very tight in the balcony.
Bonnie Rait was amazing! She sounds as good as she did in the 90's! My husband and I were so excited to get to see her in concert because she was OUR artist when we were dating! I would definitely recommend her concert AND her opening act!
The Bonnie Raitt concert was fabulous. She still hs “it”. Incredible guitar playing and so good to go down memory lane with her catalog of songs. Highly recommend going to see her!
The concert was the best I've seen in years. Not only does she still have it, she is even better! Her band is the best in the business. I would see them again anytime!
Bonnie Raitt is so gifted and the ultimate performer -- have loved her since the mid Seventies -- she was part of my growing up in the college years and her blues have influenced me ever since.
Bonnie Raitt put on an outstanding show. She is an incredibly talented singer, songwriter and musician. She exuded warmth and charm and you could tell that she genuinely cared for her band-mates and those of us there to listen to her music. The opening act was also quite good. A great evening at the NC-PAC.
Bonnie was awesome as ever! 5th time seeing her. You don’t realize she is the main guitar playing until you see her.
Bonnie Raitt gave an awesome concert. She is warm, personable, down to earth and appears to genuinely enjoy performing for, and interacting with, her audience. Her voice is as strong as ever and she's such an accomplished musician and songwriter. Wonderful experience!
The acoustics were great as was Bonnie, her band and Maia & Sarah. We loved the show! The venue and muscian’s were fabulous! The acoustics were great as was Bonnie, her band and Maia & Sarah
I saw Bonnie Raitt a VERY long time ago when she toured with Bruce Hornsby. I think I enjoyed her even more this time. She is so talented, and so down to earth. I especially love her for her old relationship with Stevie Ray Vaughan. I hope I get to see her again!
Very good except you weren’t allowed to take pics !!!
Bonnie Raitt never disappoints! I’ve seen her at least 10 times starting in 1980. She’s always excellent.
