Hadestown (Touring) Tickets

My husband and I only new Hadestown had won a Tony for best musical when we decided to purchase tickets. We did not know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised from the beginning. The ensemble were fantastic actors, singers and dancers. The musicians on stage were fabulous. What a fun show that I would want to see again and again.

This cast needs to do a recording to purchase, by far my favorite vocals over all. Orpheus, Nicholas Barasch, has the most amazing voice!

I went into the show knowing almost nothing about it, and that was the greatest decision I could have made. The songs, choreography, set designs, lighting, etc. blew me away. The touring cast is incredible. I can hardly believe the pure talent that was on the stage. If you have the opportunity to see this show, do it.

I mostly enjoyed the show but the imbalance of talent was noticeable and distracting. The main characters were amazing and I love live musicians. The workers chorus was quite disappointing, only 1 performer really honed their craft and the rest were undisciplined and did not sound good. Some of the bright lighting effects right in the audiences' eyes were held too long and were uncomfortable. There is quite a bit of talent in this tour which I thoroughly enjoyed. However I must say I'm surprised this won the 2019 Tony and unsure if I'd recommend it for the price of Broadway tickets.

Wonderful production. Beautiful set and lighting. The entire cast was top notch - gorgeous voices, great supporting chorus, really well rounded talent. The band onstage was awesome, especially the trombonist. Highly recommend this unique show.

I had listened to the cast album on repeat, but had no idea the show was this innovatively and beautifully staged. There are some jaw-dropping moments in which a single set transforms into the underworld, a train station, a road in the dark... just wonderful. The cast is distinct from the recorded album -- Hades is more tuneful and less growly, Hermes is a white guy who is part snake oil salesman, part preacher, and part Adam Lavigne. But these choices work well, and the beauty of the music really shines through as everyone plays, sings, and dances their hearts out. Do not miss this show.

I went not knowing what to expect, but the cast , music and story were amazing. I was connected from the start. I would certainly see it again!

But I do now. Y'all. This is already one of the best shows in the world, but Chibueze Ihuoma made me fall in love with Orpheus for the first time ever and this whole CAST was transcendent. Also, Will Mann is the understudy for Hermes AND Hades and I absolutely NEED to know more about this person. I want to see them in BOTH ROLES PLEASE. AT THE SAME TIME. DO YOU THINK THEY COULD?? Audrey Ochoa on the trombone was also the best that the world has ever seen. Do you think that this play attracts our modern day muses to itself? it must...you should've heard her...

I bought tickets because my kid loves the soundtrack. I ended up loving the show so much! Highly recommend to anyone! The theater took the masks and vaccine policy very seriously. They also enforced their no drinks in the theater rule more firmly than I have ever seen it enforced before

Everything about this show was great. The touring cast was killer, the band was great, the lighting and set design were perfect. Don't miss it if you can get a ticket. Not many shows like it out there.

This was an awesome display of talent! A Broadway show in my own backyard. I highly recommend seeing this production.

This was my first Broadway tour show after living in NYC for over 20 years. Experiencing Hadestown in Durham exceeded my expectations. The production and quality of performance made me feel like I was back on Broadway. Looking forward to my next Broadway tour show.

It was spectacular. It was better then I could have expected! I smiled, I laughed, and I cried! Well done, we’ll performed, well sung. The cast was perfect for their parts!!!! Would see it again!

I purchased tickets months before I got to see the show and it was well worth the wait. I loved it so much I bought more tickets last minute for a performance a few days later. It was absolutely incredible both times and I’m so thankful DPAC brought my favorite show to our area!

I came to see Levi Kreis as Hermes but alas, he doesn’t do matinees! Boohoo. But the understudy (Will) was excellent! Great show. Highly recommend!

The theatre space was gorgeous with lots of easily accessible parking nearby and plenty of restaurants for pre or post show dining. Staff at the Orpheum were helpful and courteous. The entire atmosphere was welcoming and inviting. The show did not disappoint. Hadestown was performed to perfection with superb singing, excellent acoustics, a stage set that dazzled the eye, and lighting that took on the life of a character itself. From start to finish each scene was captivating and well executed with lively choreography and ingenious costuming. Overall, no matter the show, the Orpheum Theater is a destination must when in Memphis and Ticketmaster is a wonderful way to make that experience happen.

Didn’t really know about the musical before I went, but enjoy it greatly!! The cast was amazing! Kept you entertained the entire time!

I didn’t know anything about it, it was a gift for my son who loves theater. Such an amazing show and cast! Very moving story and performance.

I’ve been a fan of the Hadestown soundtrack for a while, so I was very excited to attended. It exceeded my expectations 100%. The actors and actresses did a phenomenal job. I also enjoyed how fun and casual it seemed, they interacted with the audience a lot. I would go back to see the show again!
