Goth Babe is Griff Washburn enjoying himself. Originally from Tennessee, Griff currently lives and writes music on a 36ft off-grid sailboat named Lola. He is currently exploring the west coast of Mexico on Lola with his dog Sadie, after sailing down from California last December. When not on the road touring or on his boat, Griff and Sadie are off enjoying the outdoors in a truck camper. They explore the west coast of the United States fly fishing, surfing, snowboarding, and of course writing music along the way. His mission through this project has been to raise money for environmental non-profits like Protect Our Winters, Project Zero, or Conservations Lands Foundation. By attending Griff's shows, listening to his music, or buying his merch, you're helping Mother Earth and all its beautiful places. He hopes to also create a safe space for listeners to follow their aspirations and be genuine to themselves.
Griff just released his debut album Lola (Jan 26, 2024): "I would love if these songs allowed people, even just for a second, to escape the weight and heaviness of the world."
An amazingly fun and upbeat show! I really enjoyed the Bay Ledges opening act.
One of the most fun shows I’ve been to! Great set list, great music and the crowd was super into it.
The Meet and Greet experience was not worth the extra money spent. It was unorganized, we didn't even receive the merchandise at the event, the group photo wasn't a professional photographer, it was taken on a phone. We had to wait outside in the heat and it was delayed which was annoying. But the actual performance was great. Next time just buying the ticket and not all the extras.
For a little over a year now, Goth Babe has been my favorite artist and he was even better live than I could have imagined! Such an incredible show!!!
It was an amazing show, great sound & light show with fun crowd involvement . . . crowd surfing on a pool float, birthday celebrations on stage, cupcake and t-shirt “rewards” all in the backdrop or some fantastic music!
There were some cool elements to the show, but it seemed the band played with a track. Was bored. I left early.
Goth babe was amazing live they really involve the audience and have fun with it!!!
I love this venue, if you can definitely grab general floor tickets. There’s a few seats but the ambiance is amazing! As far as goth babe this may have been my 3rd or 4th time, I forget. But hope to see him again soon. Brilliant and young he is, very including of all.
Goth babe just didn’t sound very good. The music wasn’t loud and his voice was cracking . Overall just not a good time
You do not know the definition of fun until you have seen Goth Babe live. Griff Washburn brings his vagabond chill lifestyle to the stage and wraps his audience in a cheerful wonder. When I first heard Goth Babe years ago, I had a different vision in my head of who this person was. I was floored when I found Griff on Instagram. He is not only talented beyond his years, but he has lived a lot of life. His upcoming short film, Lola will give us a peek into that life. Go see Goth Babe! I guarantee you will leave the show a better person than when you arrived
Goth Babe interacts in a fun and positive way with the crowd. They also play great music, of course, and make for a memorable show. It was weird, though, that Fox Theater and ticket master didn't promote this with Husbands in the lineup. They were there and so great.
Pretty weak concert. Low energy and left wanting more
Loved this show and intro to new bands (both openers, Husbands and Slender Bodies). Goth Babe had such stellar energy and interacted so well with the crowd. We brought our 10 year old daighter (with ear plugs) and she really enjoyed it too!
The energy was awesome.. perfect venue for the most fun and perfect artist. Would love to relive it again :)
Great show.. I still love the Van Buran! I realize it’s summer here in AZ and it’s hot so my only complaint … get some coolers in the corners or big fans way to sweltering hot to not have a little minimal comfort. Also for Gothbabe get better concert T designs a little plain which seems to be a growing trend with most indie pop bands these days
This was by far the best concert ive ever been too. Flipturn and yoke lore were really good, but when goth babe came on stage the whole concert became amazing. Great vibes and absolutely amazing performance!
Such an amazing concert! The anthem venue is amazing.
If you LOVE Goth Babe - and let's be real, who doesn't love them that have heard them?! - then you NEED to catch them on tour. We did the VIP meet and greet experience and it didn't disappoint. You are with a group of people - ours was about 50 - and they do a Q&A where you can just ask questions and at the end they play an acoustic version of "Sometimes". It was amazing! After that, you get first pick of GA standing area, so we were literally front and center for the entire concert. The Rooftop at Pier 17 is an incredible and epic venue but Goth Babe's energy, authenticity and talent made it an unforgettable night.
Although I probably wouldn't recommend upgrading to the meet and greet experience unless you were trying to stand toward the front, the base concert was incredible. The performances by both the opener and and Goth Babe could not have been better. Not to mention the beautiful view over Manhattan and part of Brooklyn. I highly recommend this venue.
Wouldn’t recommend seeing him live, not worth the cost of the tickets. He spent most the time talking to the crowd verses playing any music. Lame show.
