Goth Babe is Griff Washburn enjoying himself. Originally from Tennessee, Griff currently lives and writes music on a 36ft off-grid sailboat named Lola. He is currently exploring the west coast of Mexico on Lola with his dog Sadie, after sailing down from California last December. When not on the road touring or on his boat, Griff and Sadie are off enjoying the outdoors in a truck camper. They explore the west coast of the United States fly fishing, surfing, snowboarding, and of course writing music along the way. His mission through this project has been to raise money for environmental non-profits like Protect Our Winters, Project Zero, or Conservations Lands Foundation. By attending Griff's shows, listening to his music, or buying his merch, you're helping Mother Earth and all its beautiful places. He hopes to also create a safe space for listeners to follow their aspirations and be genuine to themselves.
Griff just released his debut album Lola (Jan 26, 2024): "I would love if these songs allowed people, even just for a second, to escape the weight and heaviness of the world."
Always a good time with griff and the crew! Great energy from the crowd too. Def recommend going to see these legends!!!
griff was so amazing, i couldn’t even believe i was there.. cried like 5 times because of how beautiful the show was. he had such an amazing soul and it shows during his performance. the crowd was hostile tho lol
Always love the observatory and great show by Goth Babe
Goth babe was such an amazing experience. He was super interactive with the crowd and he sounded great! He was also very appreciative for the amount of people that showed up. I definitely will see him again
The slower songs made the crowd vibes kind of weird at times. Someone tried to fight me when I went to get a drink from the bar, but then apologized. Wasn’t the type of situation I expected at this type of show. It was a great show but I wish they played all of their upbeat songs and maybe one or two slow songs max.
Goth Babe always puts on a good show, but if you don’t get to this venue super early and are short you won’t be able to see. I went around the entire venue, including upstairs, when I got there and never could find a place where I could actually see the stage. Basically had to watch from my phone. Venue felt oversold and I hate how they’re doing two shows in one night and made them play so early.
Incredible. Flew from San Diego to D.C., visited a friend, and brought her to the show. *Proof that Goth Babe brings people together* So güt, I’m planning to see the shows in Santa Cruz, Santa Ana, and San Diego. If you go prepare to cherish the Pacific Ocean, wear your finest overalls, grab a junehsine, hug a friend or stranger, and feel pure joy. Do yourself a favor and see a Goth Babe show. (Only critique: I wish they played “Running Around” and cleared out a dance space for me to vibe.) Thank you Goth Babe.
Yo! Missed live music for real real. Venue was ill and crowd was poppin’
Goth Babe was dialed in at the Neptune. Incredibly talented. Band was super tight. Great vocals. Sound and lights were perfect, far beyond what you’d expect. Seasoned performers that served up a great show to a packed house.
We had such a great time at Goth Babe after OSL. Really intimate venue, and the band was on top form.
Everything about Goth Babe is amazing. Griff put on an amazing show and I would 100% recommend anyone debating to go to go! We were at a super small venue so that definitely helped with my experience as it felt like a more intimate show and I could enjoy it more but even when I saw him the next day at OSL with way more people he still was so good. 10/10!
I love Goth Babe!!! And they were fantastic but they came on 15minutes late, played for 45 mins, (like 7 songs) and left early Loved every minute but wish it was longer
