    Enchanting Musical

by Nini on 4/26/23The Maryland Theatre - Hagerstown

This was a phenomenal performance put on by the students of Barbara Ingram School for the Arts. It was cast well with very talented players with voices that were spot on!! The live orchestra added so much to the music. Incredible work was put into the details of the set design. Loved the shower of confetti at the end! Bravo!!

    Amazing talent

by Frank on 4/17/23The Maryland Theatre - Hagerstown

Everyone loved it! The kids are avid SpongeBob watchers and commented on how anccurate everyone sounded! (Especially Plankton and Squidward!) it was colorful and lively and didn’t get slow for a second. The music was awesome, the scenery and small details were great and all of the actors nailed it! Couldn’t believe it was a high school play!

    The Talent Deserved Better Tech

by A Parent on 4/17/23The Maryland Theatre - Hagerstown

The show itself was surprisingly high-stakes, albeit predictable. The animation provided by the BISFA animation students was terrific, but above all, the cast was absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, the orchestra (fantastic as it was) was too loud in comparison to the vocals and the actors were constantly drowned out. The spotlights were not positioned correctly and needed more rehearsal time. As far as the house goes, there were a number of restless toddlers and infants that made the experience very distracting.

    Show yes, tickets no

by Wendy on 1/24/23Scranton Cultural Center - Scranton

The show was wonderful! The building was incredible. The only thing that was super disappointing was i must have made a mistake and ordered the tickets for Saturday and we went on a Sunday and when i tried to present my tickets i couldnt get a barcode so i went to the box office and she told me i got the wrong day and couldn't give me a refund or exhange. Very disappointing especially since this wasnt exactly a sold out show, it was a high school musicial. So i had to pay again for 5 tickets. Thats honestly completely unnecessary for me to pay two times.

    Above expectations

by Kim on 1/23/23Scranton Cultural Center - Scranton

you could tell from the curtain rise that we were watching a well tuned performance from a group that has worked together for a long time. The acting was excellent, and the singing and dancing was way above the level expected from high schoolers. There was extensive scenery, flawlessly changed between or during scenes. You could hear those miked clearly, and the others were OK. They made good use of the auditorium at times dialouging with the audience.

    Lots of fun!

by DoubleD on 8/3/22Toby's Dinner Theatre Columbia - Columbia

Well done show. Great decorations in the venue and an excellent use of the “theatre in the round” with things going on in all areas. So many talented performers and musicians.
