Pouring her heart into her pies, she crafts desserts that mirror her topsy-turvy life such as "The Key (Lime) to Happiness Pie" and "Betrayed By My Eggs Pie." When a baking contest in a nearby county —and a satisfying encounter with someone new —show Jenna a chance at a fresh start, she must find the courage to seize it. There was a woman working the restroom during the show I attended who was truly a hero. She was keeping everyone laughing while actually doing an amazing job of directing people to open stalls and trying to help assuage the frustration/anxiety of a long bathroom line at intermission. She deserves a raise and a gold star!
The show was incredible! Every one of the cast members did a fantastic job. Highly recommend.
Loved the “authentic” cooking that happened, the music of Sara Bareilles, & the amazing performers. The story had some raunchy parts, which made me slightly uncomfortable with my child seated next to me, but she enjoyed it. Overall, it was a great performance!
The Play, Waitress was excellent in set decoration, music, and most of all acting. I rate it 5 stars!
Waitress was one of those few plays with a great story line & music. My wife & son loved it as did I. It really helped me understand my wife better. I have begun to play the music from Waitress offline.
I’ve seen many musicals in my life and this was by far the best. It’s funny, full of emotion, and just a very lovable story. The musical numbers are all very enjoyable and it’s easy to understand what’s going on. The show is serious where it needs to be but still keeps a very lighthearted mood. (It’s also the funniest musical I’ve ever seen). Loved it.
Definitely a must see. Better than expected. It was funny, heartwarming and inspiring!!
Waitress: extremely funny, touching, well executed musical. Highly recommend seeing it!
I really wanted to like this play, but it was just average. The music didn't really add to the story for me. Don't get me wrong, the actors were great but the movie is still better.
