After seeing several musicals, Escape to Margaritaville was a total disappointment. The cast was not as polished as other shows that I have seen. The musical speakers were too loud, and the content of the musical had very inappropriate messages. It was not what I was expecting.
Thought I was seeing Jimmy Buffett live ! Very disappointed ! (Songs by in small print)đ
Young, talented singers, dancers and musicians brought high energy to a large number of those Buffet songs you know by heart. I preferred when some of the original songs recaptured their essence rather than overdoing the artistic license. The leads were very good. No one was perfect but who is? A very enjoyable escape especially because it was live.
I had seen the production in Chicago after it came off Broadway. I was beyond thrilled to find it coming to Pensacola, my hometown. I could not have been more impressed with the production and the experience. I was moved to tears , yet again, after seeing Jimmy's music brought to life before my eyes. I brought my in laws who do not know his music and they said it was the best play they had ever seen and want to go again. I am blessed to live in a time where a certain music and theatrical production could touch my heart in such a moving manner. Please thank each and every member of the cast a crew for me personally, and for my wife and in laws. Bravo, thespians..... Bravo!

Escape to Margaritaville, was the best show ever, the music was spot on, Jimmy Buffet would be proud. Can't wait for the christmas show with Steamhieim Rollers.
My grandchildren and I had a wonderful time at the show. The music was fun. Dancing and acting was really well done. The scene changes were almost seamless. Thanks for a great time.

If you like Jimmy Buffett, you will enjoy the show. Plenty of musical references and bad puns (which is great). The band on stage kept the vibe going throughout the show and the choreography was well down. My wife and I are long time parrot heads and she commented it was like being on vacation for the night. We're forgot about everything and enjoyed our own Escape to Margaritaville. Well done, but non pastor heads won't find it as enjoying.
Due to not realizing there was no elevator. Could not do steps.
Good Show, Entertaining! Dancers & Performers were Great ! Colorful Costumes
The staging was very good. The vocals were sometimes just ok and other times very good. It was difficult at timed to understand what the actor was saying. Not clearly spoken or the mics were not working well.
Everything was great except entry into the Hershey Theatre. After clearing security hundreds of people were crammed into the lobby and the inside doors didnât open until approximately 25 minutes before show time. We thought the inside doors should have been open right away.
Show was so wonderful. For those who missed it, maybe next time. Kept the whole crowd going. Only should let people in at 6:45 pm instead if 7:00 pm.
Was expecting something with more flare using the margaritaville brand. It was enjoyable, just not what I expected. Still a good time as we were with friends :)

Great Musical, laughs and plenty of sing-a-long music. The music was all set to proper moments in the show. Cast was worth an A+ effort, with great backdrops and props. A+

Huge fan of Jimmy Buffett! Bright, colorful, great choreograhy--story line not the greatest, but what parrothead couldn't help but sing-a-long with the cast! So glad I was finally able to see it after having tickets two different times which performances were cancelled by the pandemic!
