Monster Jam Triple Threat Series on Tour
The hottest show on wheels returns with its trademark combo of races and stunts, pitting the best drivers in the biggest monster trucks against one another for a shot at the Monster Jam World Finals, a monster of a good time for the whole family.
The driver-athletes in each Triple Threat Series must compete in three vehicles — monster trucks, monster ATVs, and monster speedsters — over seven different competitions, some racing and some freestyle. The ATVs are the Monster Jam version of the four-wheeler you may have raced through the woods, and the Speedsters are UTVs, like a monster truck shrunk down to the size of a Jeep or dune buggy and outfitted with balloon tires.
In the freestyle competitions — Two Wheel Skills, Donuts, and Freestyle — Monster Jam fans in the stadium judge and score the events using their smartphones and a special live code on the JudgeZone web app. No other live sporting event gives the audience such involvement in the results.
Two-Wheel Skills isn't just your grandpa's wheelies. It's any trick where a maximum of two wheels stay on the ground, from a sky wheelie, bumper to the ground and nose to the air, to a walk-it wheelie, one back wheel at a time, to a stoppie nose-first where the driver moonwalks to the finish.
In the Donuts contest, some monster trucks spin and twirl so fast they create a cyclone, but it's not just about dirt, it's about style.
In the general freestyle, your favorite trucks (and drivers) perform feats of daring and strength in the mud and dust, climbing, rolling, diving, and falling the way things with four wheels rarely do — at least not on purpose.
Combined with the three types of vehicle races, whichever athlete has the most points at the end of the day is the overall winner. At the end of the season, 24 contestants will compete for the title of World Champion.
Great show! My 5yo loved it! First time Jam for all of us! We will definitely want to go again.
The cell phone judging interaction was great! The kids loved being judges. I think next time we would go on the first day in town because of the wear and tear on the trucks. It seemed like the wear and tear had affected the performance on the second day. Some of the trucks were not able to perform at their best. Still had a great time though!
It was an amazing show from the drivers and crew that helped them out. When there was a car stall they were quickly on it. Great team work from everyone. The only thing is when your picking your seats try to get first row of the section. So many times parents were getting up and blocking the view during a perforance, instead of waiting for the trick to be done and then moving into the row. I made one mom and teenager wait in our row for the driver to be done. I paid for my chikd to see the performance not get blocked from a view of parents not being considerate.
My first time going my son wanted to go in it was Amazing experience very awesome to see my boy Satisfied and happy
First time for me and my family and it was very entertaining and it was an enjoyable event
This was our second show, First being a year ago when it came to town. We all love it! I am not sure who loves it more...the kids, my husband or me! We will try to go every time the show returns to our city!
Despite the vehicles breaking down a lot. Me and my family definitely had a great time. The venue seating were a little tight but we made due. We had a blast!
Wish there was more laser lights and tricks, but understands the smaller venue, always fun for me though and everyone!!!
This was the first time that I have ever seen an event with monster trucks, and OH MY GOSH! It was AMAZING! Words can't describe how much fun I had! I can't wait until there is another monster truck event so that I can go.
The show it self was great. The price for food and drinks makes me never want to go again.
My son loved it, I enjoyed it. First time going and we will continue to attend more.
I think they do a great job putting on this show considering the limited space for a monster truck to perform. Will definitely be going again next year
Great show even if you are not a kid. Excitement at all levels.
Was seated directly in front of the American flag which covered the entire screen was not able to see intros, scores or anything next time please make sure the flag is lowered, or taken down so people are able to see the screen.. entire section was not happy was a horrible experience for my 6 and 8 year old children
I’ve been to this event at other venues Allstate is too small for Monsterjam Half the event was redone in Polaris’ due to size of venue. No room, so no big tricks
We went to the Pit Party, as we do most every year, and had the same problems as previous. Lines are too long to do everything you want to do in the little amount of time they give you. The party should be extended at least an hour if you continue to sell that many tickets to attend. The lines are long and VERY disorganized. Extra experiences were added this year, without extra time to do them, making it even more disappointing for my son at the end when there was even more things he could not do. The show was okay but nothing spectacular. The kids want to see the monster trucks and much of the time is filled watching ATV racing that seemed very amateur. And the venue is so small that when the trucks are out there they just go in circles without any real excitement. A bigger venue would allow for more options like, what Monster Jam is popular for, car crushing among one fo them. Overall, Monster Jam at Moda Center is just OK.
I loved it. Boyfriend an the kids loved it also. Was a lot of fun
Great and entertaining show! Thought they would crush vehicles and do more flips, but still good. I think a bigger venue would allow more tricks.
This was the third time I have taken our family to this event and the first time for our 2 year grandson. It was so much fun to see him clapping and getting excited over the trucks (I believe we have a El Torro Loco fan in the making). My 4 year old grandson kept looking over at me and smiling when his Shark truck was on the track. What a wonderful way to connect with these youngsters! Excellent show. Very exciting and fun for the whole family - including Grandmama!
Not enough souvenir stands. Food was outrageously expensive. $5 for a 20 oz bottle of water is ridiculous. The show itself was mediocre at best.
