Monster Jam Triple Threat Series on Tour

The hottest show on wheels returns with its trademark combo of races and stunts, pitting the best drivers in the biggest monster trucks against one another for a shot at the Monster Jam World Finals, a monster of a good time for the whole family.

The driver-athletes in each Triple Threat Series must compete in three vehicles — monster trucks, monster ATVs, and monster speedsters — over seven different competitions, some racing and some freestyle. The ATVs are the Monster Jam version of the four-wheeler you may have raced through the woods, and the Speedsters are UTVs, like a monster truck shrunk down to the size of a Jeep or dune buggy and outfitted with balloon tires.

In the freestyle competitions — Two Wheel Skills, Donuts, and Freestyle — Monster Jam fans in the stadium judge and score the events using their smartphones and a special live code on the JudgeZone web app. No other live sporting event gives the audience such involvement in the results.

Two-Wheel Skills isn't just your grandpa's wheelies. It's any trick where a maximum of two wheels stay on the ground, from a sky wheelie, bumper to the ground and nose to the air, to a walk-it wheelie, one back wheel at a time, to a stoppie nose-first where the driver moonwalks to the finish.

In the Donuts contest, some monster trucks spin and twirl so fast they create a cyclone, but it's not just about dirt, it's about style.

In the general freestyle, your favorite trucks (and drivers) perform feats of daring and strength in the mud and dust, climbing, rolling, diving, and falling the way things with four wheels rarely do — at least not on purpose.

Combined with the three types of vehicle races, whichever athlete has the most points at the end of the day is the overall winner. At the end of the season, 24 contestants will compete for the title of World Champion.

    Monster Jam was amazing!

    by CoolestMomEver123 on 1/17/17DCU Center - Worcester

Highly recommend! Not a bad seat in the whole place! Staff was pleasant and helpful! My kids cannot wait to go back! Meet and greet was a little unorganized as far as making a clean line for people it was a little difficult for people to get by that were not part of it. My kids met all the drivers and thought that was super cool! We will absolutely be back!

good time ... brought a 2 1/2 year old and the tempo ie switching up from trucks to atv to free style stunts was broken up perfectly for a little persons attention span ... great day .. had great un-obstructed seats but did get hit with a chunk of mud, thankfully me and not the child .. next time I will add some more distance from the arena floor .

Monster Jam is so much fun!

    by Jenna1792 on 1/17/17DCU Center - Worcester

I love going to all the Monster Jam events in the area and it was my first time going to this one. We got tickets for the Pit Party and the 1:00 show on Saturday, January 14th. The Pit Party was awesome and my 4 year old son and I loved meeting the drivers and getting up close with the trucks! We got 4 autographs during the Pit Party and we had a blast! The show itself was also a great time, its just that this arena is a bit small. But we were still very happy with the event and we will definitely come to next years show also!

I was expecting more demolition. They did do some jumps but wasn't very action packed

Had a great time with my son and some friends! I do recommend to bring headphones for the kids; the rides ARE loud. But if you forget the event sells them too.

    Amazing

by Lifeofaninjamom on 1/17/17DCU Center - Worcester

Took my 3 year old son to the show, and he absolutely loved it! It is very loud, so I do recommend ear plugs if you're visiting the first time. Bathrooms were clean and easy to locate and surprisingly they weren't as crowded, especially having kids that quickly needs to go. I was able to get in & out with my child. However, do pay attention to where you can find a changing table for children with diapers, most bathrooms only have one. Seats are easy to get to. There is usually someone by the entryway of the seating area to help guide you. The view was amazing, however, do be prepared to get a bit of dirt flying on you if you're sitting up close. It's also very loud, so I would suggest ear plugs for the first visit to the show. I don't recommend bringing a stroller unless you're inquiring on purchasing wheel chair access seating box. Limit your belongings for that there isn't much space to place them and to avoid the trouble of people needing to pass by to get to thier seats. (i.e diaper bags, backpacks, large purses)

    I've seen better!

by Aggiemom7 on 1/11/17Legacy Arena at The BJCC - Birmingham

I like to see the dirt bikes and the sphere they ride around in. I didn't realize Triple Threat meant they competed in 3 different competitions. My two year old got a little bored with the all of the competitions and even fell asleep. I think he would have much rather have watched dirt bikes doing stunts than razors racing around in a circle. That is just my opinion though. My husband seemd to have loved it!
