Holding onto hope when times are tough can take an awful lot of determination, and sometimes, an awful lot of determination comes in a surprisingly small package. Little Orphan Annie has reminded generations of theatergoers that sunshine is always right around the corner, and now the best-loved musical of all time is set to return in a new production - just as you remember it and just when we need it most.
Annie, directed by Jenn Thompson, features the iconic book and score, written by Tony Award®-winners Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin. This celebration of family, optimism and the American spirit remains the ultimate cure for all the hard knocks life throws your way.

I saw this in Pensacola. For Broadway prices I want Broadway performances. The girls don't provide. Miss Hannigan was a sensation. Warbucks was good. Grace was awesome. Lilly and Rooster were decent. But this show must be carried by the girls and they are at best public school level performers. I saw the show last year several times and most of those girls were worth the price. I was truly not happy spending what I spent on this show.
From the nice young girl, Annie to the old Ms Hannigan, they had me sining along and truly thrilled by their portrayals. The whole cast sang and danced their way into my heart. To me, it’s hard to measure up to prior Annie’s but from start to finish they hit it this one out of the park. I would have gone to see a second time if they were in town longer. Also, so fun to see the families together with their daughters mostly little girls coming to watch this classic.
A wonderful uplifting performance of Annie. The voices were superb, strong and energetic.
Finally getting to watch Annie on Broadway was amazing after watching it so many times on TV.the cast was fantastic and brought tears of joy when thee show was over.
Wanted to take my daughter (9) to see Annie for the first time. Chose Chattanooga to avoid downtown Atlanta. It was a great show. My daughter never took her eyes off the stage.
Annie was wonderful! I could not stop smiling the entire show. The cast were all wonderful and did the best job! I sang along and felt like a kid again.
Annie is an upbeat, fun, heart warming, and funny show. The acting, dancing, and singing in this show was particularly good. We were definitely impressed with the young talent's skills. The venue, while old, offers good seating, and viewing for nearly everyone in attendance. We've attended many shows at Soldiers and Sailors Auditorium, and have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. The theatre is easy to get in and out of, and there is ample parking, for a price, nearby. We continually watch the event calendar, to see what is coming to the theatre next. We are a relatively small market, but are able to enjoy highly professional productions. I'd highly recommend this show, if you find it coming to a venue near you.
Fantastic cast, very talented and very well performed thoroughly enjoyed it
It was a much smaller production than the one I saw 30 years ago, but Annie, if done right will always be a classic!
