About

Holding onto hope when times are tough can take an awful lot of determination, and sometimes, an awful lot of determination comes in a surprisingly small package. Little Orphan Annie has reminded generations of theatergoers that sunshine is always right around the corner, and now the best-loved musical of all time is set to return in a new production - just as you remember it and just when we need it most.

Annie, directed by Jenn Thompson, features the iconic book and score, written by Tony Award®-winners Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin. This celebration of family, optimism and the American spirit remains the ultimate cure for all the hard knocks life throws your way.

    Great Experience! One little issue.

by Morgan on 2/28/24Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium - Chattanooga

The Annie play was absolutely adorable. It kept everyone of all ages entertained. The ONLY issue I had was the language. For children, the language was unnecessary and inappropriate.

    Everything & More!

by BDL on 2/28/24Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium - Chattanooga

Exceptional talent and energy from the entire cast! The storyline was traditional, yet intriguing. So many funny and sincere moments. Miss Hannigan was a family favorite! Thank you for such a wonderful performance and igniting a true interest in how valuable theatre can be for my eleven year old daughter.

    1st class performance!

by Shedding Cat on 2/28/24Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium - Chattanooga

I was apprehensive about buying tickets. I was only because of a special rate $30 on the 30th) that made me buy them. I'm so glad I did. Everything about this performance was outstanding. The young orphan ladies were all extremely impressive. The choreography was amazing. It was one of the best stage performances I have ever seen over the last 50 years.

    Annie

by Goshango on 2/28/24Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium - Chattanooga

It was absolutely amazing. The cast. The orchestra. The choreography. Found out it’s the same cast going to TPAC, went to get tickets to see it again ummm. Nope. Tickets are triple the cost than Tivoli theater. 🥴

    Great experience at fantastic venue

by daveo on 2/27/24Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium - Chattanooga

I took my wife to see Annie as a birthday surprise. This by far was one of the best broadway touring shows that I’ve seen. The cast was fantastic and I love the orchestra that travels with the show. I would absolutely recommend to anyone who loves Annie or to anyone who wants to try a broadway musical.

    Great show but the theater

by Lovely show! on 2/27/24Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium - Chattanooga

We loved the vocals and costumes! Such a sweet show! I couldn’t understand all the lyrics to the songs but it could’ve been our seats. The theater itself was quite warm and we were packed in with strangers even though there were tons of seats around us available.

DROP WHAT YOU’RE DOING & GO SEE THIS NOW!

by JLiz on 2/21/24Scranton Cultural Center - Scranton

I typically go see Broadway shows in NYC, and have been fortunate enough to see many as it’s a less than 2 hr drive for us. On a whim, I decided to see Annie in Scranton, PA, because it is an easy drive and I wasn’t sure how the winter weather would be on the date of the show. Also, I hadn’t yet seen a live, professional performance of Annie. Well, this show had all the pizzazz of a Broadway based performance, but without the hassle and expense. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the entire ensemble!! The live music was gorgeous and the sets were beautiful. Especially sparkling ( in my opinion ) were the personalities of the actors playing the parts of President Roosevelt and Miss Hannigan, as well as the youngest girl orphan. Star quality all the way! I honestly wanted to see the two remaining shows that weekend! It’s THAT GREAT!!!

    Political Annie

by Costar on 2/21/24Scranton Cultural Center - Scranton

The cast and performance of the musical was terrific, but I went to relax and enjoy a lovely old cultural event, not to see it modified and peppered with political overtones. Therefore I had to rate it a 4 instead of a 5.

    Amazing Great Time!

by Amy on 2/20/24Scranton Cultural Center - Scranton

I have been wanting to see Annie On /Off Broadway since I was a little girl and saw the movie in the 80's. It feel through a couple times before so I was very excited to see it in Scranton only an hour and a half away, Everything was amazing, singing, costumes, entertainment. I LOVED it! Only down fall was I am not a very small person and the seats are very tight in the cultural center. Thank god for an empty handicap seat in front of us,
