Great music and entertainment. Sometimes clarity of words was not great but overal a great evening.

This group is great and give a great show! They are a must see for me each year when they come to Fort Wayne!

My sister and I go every year but this year it was even more amazing and magical. Don’t know how that’s possible but it was!!

I've gone to see SNC annually just before Christmas for the past 10 years or so. Each year they put on a great show and help me get into the Christmas mood. Great show, I'd highly recommend!!

Whoever writes and re-writes this group’s arrangements does an awesome job! We enjoyed every song and especially the final song with no electronic help.

Signage in the events Plaza could be better directing people to the appropriate floor/ section but that's my only concern. Even though I was in the top tier of the theater I was very well pleased with the seats. It was easy entry and exit to the actual Auditorium.Acoustics were great and the two hours of the concert flew by which is a good sign that I was very well entertained. I would see them again as well as recommend them to others for an evening of 1st class entertainment.

SNC concert was the perfect kickoff to the Christmas weekend. The first half of the concert was a review of popular music, while the second half was devoted to Christmas oriented music. These guys are insanely talented, and provided 2 hours of music magic, all without backing instruments! Simply amazing! Will definitely go again next year! Merry Christmas!!

Each year we go, we are convinced it is the best show we have seen. Each year, they out do themselves!! What a fantastic show! My new favorite is “I Pray At Christmas.” I have played it multiple times a day since we seen them. Looking forward to next year’s show!!

We thoroughly enjoyed all of the show. Notable highlights: the Taylor Swift medley, the Toto medley, holiday songs and learning how the one member became and perfected his beatbox abilities. The dad jokes were cute especially the intro of the members with punny occupational digs.

SNC puts on a great show with a mix of humor and fantastic singing. Highly recommend.

My young adult sons and I love SNC and enjoy their show when they come to town. We'll be there again next year!!

I have enjoyed Straight No Chaser since seeing their version of The 12-days of Christmas on YouTube years ago. The Civic is a beautiful theater so I was thrilled to get front row center loge seats for the Sleighing It Tour in Akron. The warm-up act, 3-T did a nice job with a few songs of their own. The members of Straight No Chaser (SNC) were very personable and engaged well with the audience. Performance quality was top notch for every piece they performed. Very entertaining and we enjoyed every song. The performance received a well-deserved standing ovation. 5-stars all the way. The show utilized a simple set with three risers backed by a large video screen and lots of lighting effects giving each piece a unique feel. This is where I would give them/the Civic less than 5-stars. The production lighting design utilized lots of side and back lighting (to prevent washing out the video screen) but often insufficient front lighting. This made it difficult to see their faces during many numbers. It left me with the feeling that they assumed they would have follow spots or some other form of front lighting that wasn't present. Some of the numbers which did not include video screen content were lighted more effectively, with the faces of SNC clearly visible. The lighting design also included floor mounted lights upstage left, right and center. These lights were occasionally rotated forward toward the audience and into the eyes of everyone sitting above floor level. This lighting effect may have looked neat from floor level but was really distracting for all of us in the loge or balcony levels. My wife had to close her eyes during several of their numbers because of these lights. I don't know if the lighting / lighting design traveled with SNC or was provided by The Akron Civic. If it traveled with SNC I guess it could be excused because every house will be different and in other venues the balcony may not be so adversely affected by the floor mounted lights. If it was by the Civic, they should know where the balcony sight lines are and have addressed the potentially distressing issue caused by these lights. Overall SNC did a wonderful job and we would go to see them again, but I encourage them to assess the balance between video screen content and live performance quality.

One of the best shows I’ve ever been to! I had no idea what to expect but by the end of the show, I was ready to make this a tradition. 10/10 recommend seeing SNC!

first time seeing this group. not disappointed they were fantastic. can't wait to get the opportunity to see them again. good mix of songs. and the commentary in between songs was cute and funny. But favorite song was the last- when they did their old school acapella. even in the balcony you could hear how beautiful it was.

This is the second year we've seen SNC before Christmas, and they did not disappoint. We brought our friends along this time and we all loved it. The talent, creativity, and hilarity of this group is pure wow from start until the stunning end. We wil be back next year. Worth every penny.
