Straight No Chaser Concert Schedule
Straight No Chaser is a professional acapella group that began as a student singing group at Indiana University in 1996. Their fourth EP, Six Pack: Volume 3, was released in July 2017. Straight No Chaser tours include the 2017 Speakeasy Tour, 2017 Double Feature Tour, 2016 I'll Have Another... 20th Anniversary World Tour, 2015 The New Old Fashioned Tour, 2013 Under The Influence Tour, 2014 Happy Hour Tour, 2013 Straight No Chaser Tour, 2012 Straight No Chaser Tour and the 2010 SNC Winter Tour. They toured extensively during their early years together, playing at venues like the Old National Centre, and took periodic breaks from their demanding touring schedule to perform in residence at the Harrah's Resort and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Straight No Chaser live shows aren't what you'd expect from an all-male a capella group. Their shows are filled with comedy, cheeky choreography, cool lighting and a capella versions of today's Billboard hits, regardless of genre. All Straight No Chaser's albums have charted on the Billboard charts, with 2013's Under The Influence being their highest charting album today at No. 28. Straight No Chaser won the CARA award for Best Holiday Album for their 2008 release Holiday Spirits and was nominated for Best Holiday Song "Carol Of The Bells" from the same album.
Straight No Chaser Background
Straight No Chaser started off as an a capella group at Indiana University. In 2007, a 1998 video of the group singing "The 12 Days of Christmas" of Christmas went viral on YouTube and led to Craig Kallman, CEO of Atlantic Records, offering them a five-album record deal. The original line-up consisted of Dan Ponce, Randy Stine, Charlie Mechling, Steve Morgan, Jerome Collins, Dave Roberts, Walter Chase, Mike Itkoff and Patrick Hachey. Their name was inspired by Thelonious Monk's 1967 album Straight, No Chaser. Current members of Straight No Chaser include Randy Stine, Michael Luginbill, David Roberts, Charlie Mechling, Jerome Collins, Walter Chase, Sargon Isho, Tyler Trepp and Steve Morgan. The band's success has led to appearances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, a PBS Christmas Special and a residency at Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City.
Excellent as always. They are a delight and we look forward to seeing them yearly.
What a blast! A great show for all ages! I always thought this was a Christmas show, but they had all kinds of music. We'll certainly go again next year.
This was my first time to see Straight No Chaser and they are everything and more than I anticipated. It was a great show and I will definitely go see them again! It was musical, athletic and personal. Great show!
Absolutely the BEST EVER! I'm a groupie and will definitely be back.
They’re Hoosiers at heart and always treat their Indianapolis audience to an exceptional performance. This is now a Christmas tradition along with the Nutcracker. I won’t miss it. Thank You SNC.
The concert was really great! A good mix of new and old classics
They did a fantastic show! We really enjoyed the show!
As always - SNC puts on a great performance!!! Wonderful voices! Love their antics!!! Their personalities shine through in everything thing they do. Our annual event - we look forward to it from the time we get our tickets in April until we are at the performance in December. Best way to kick off my holiday season!!! Keep it up SNC - your Chasers love you!!!
Second year in a row that we’ve attended a Straight No Chaser show. They are fantastic! They tell stories, engage the crowd, have wonderful songs and helps the crowd understand how they perform. The group does an incredible job!
Great Christmas concert. Highly recommend seeing them.
Apparently my wife and I were one of the few people attending a SNC concert for the first time! But it may not be the last. Well planned concert with a refreshing variety of genres. Quality performances by all members. Amazing talent and entertaining showmanship.
Straight no chaser is high energy, very talented, enjoy performing, is a must see holiday show. We enjoyed it very much! The crowd was really into the show and the SNC got the crowd involved in the show as well.
What a wonderful performance. We’ve attended this show for many, many years and it never disappoints! The group keeps it fresh each year while keeping the favorites. Such talent. Can’t go wrong with attending this show.
Please go see them next year. They are fabulous. The percussionist was really great.
We have seen SNC many times and they never disappoint. They sounded great and are still funny and entertaining. Not a fan of the venue any longer. Murat needs some renovations.
Great program. Sound amplification was perfect (comfortable). SNC played to the audience very well. Music selection was good.
It's a tradition in Dezember to go see SNC. They are amazing.
We saw straight, no chaser in Indianapolis right before Christmas with four kids, ranging from age 7 to 16, and everyone had a great time!
Great show! Extremely entertaining . Would recommend that everyone of all ages see them at least once.
The guys of SNC are as good as ever. Their take on Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"is fantastic. A good mix of their regular music and Christmas music.
