RdR and AvB put on a fantastic show! The venue was outstanding!

Great performance!!! Danced enough to burn off the Superbowl calories consumed the next day

Finally got to see Armin Van Burren and it was such a Great show! The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that I would have enjoyed a longer set time. Concert was only 8pm-12/1am which is less than the other shows I’ve been to. Not sure if it was a venue policy or the artists but had the set been longer I would have given 5/5. The restrooms were clean and the venue was nice. We do plan to see another show at venue in future.

Such a great show! There were even surprise live performances by a few of the singers from his new songs. I I can't wait for the next chance to see him!

I'm fairly new to the Metroplex, having moved here Oct 2018 about a month before my 60th birthday, so I'm just finding my way around. Since moving to Fort Worth I've only been to Panther Island for Ubbi Dubbi and a couple of shows at the Bomb Factory, Cash Cash and Audien. This was my first time at the Southside Ballroom so I wasn't sure what to expect. Armin put on a great show keeping the music and the crowd "up" the entire time. Being up front on the rail from start to finish allowed me to see the whole stage set along with any background antics ;-). The music was a good mix of house and trance with a little bit of dub along with some live vocal tracks that really complemented the rest of the music. Even though it was a little cold outside waiting to get inside for the show, it was well worth it.

after a tight check id to sell alcohol, (I am 44), we have to wait 1 hour until the cabin staff arrive to work, then the real show begin.

Armin was great! He made a show from nothing! Tracks and the light show was amazing! But I was disappointed with the quality of the sound... There were just basses (some people like it, I know!) but Trance music is not only basses it is not a rock gig. I like Trance music as musical direction. It is a sound that takes you from the Earth and moves you to some different place where you can enjoy happiness. But you have to hear all sounds in a track for this, not just boom-boom... Another thing which did not allow me to fully enjoy the concert - a huge crowd in the club. I understand that everyone needs money, and organizers wanted to earn some coins, but when you in a mob where you can't not only dance but even move and breathe it is not the best experience.

I loved the show me and my friends had a blast we can't wait for Armin Van Buuren to come back. We will definitely be there when he does come back. It was excellent the music was superb the light show made it even better. We can't wait for Steve Aoki show we already got our tickets.

I've seen A.v.B. numerous times. Ditched my prom date for 5.5hr set, Halloween, Blackpool England and countless others. He's one of the few old school guys who pours his heart and soul. On that note, while the venue was spacious — it lacked energy not from the artist but the crowd. With a name like The Balance Tour one could expect a mix of big room drops mainly heard at festivals and classics from his library during his reigning years of #1 DJ. With that in mind, I would suggest a smaller venue because Dallas is a niche market and I either hit the nail on the head or smash your fingers with the hammer.

This was my first concert experience and it was quiet memorable for me personally!! I am a huge Armin Van Buuren and Ruben De Ronde fan and have been following them for many years. As soon as I heard about Armin making a visit to Dallas, It came as a pleasant surprise. Ticketmaster/Vivid Sears made it more easy to purchase tickets online. The evening was made more spectacular by Armin’s light show. The ambiance was perfect and it was a night that I will never forget. Thank you to Gilley’s south side ballroom for a great experience and will eagerly look forward to upcoming trips from Armin and Ruben !! Great work guys !!

South Side Ballroom was absolutely spectacular! An awesome venue, plenty of space, lots of bar space, clean facilities. Armin played an awful set. Music wasn’t that great. If it was an album tour, he only played a few of the songs. Feel like the show was a let down. Left before his show ended.

First time seeing AVB Live and had the most amazing time with friends. Loved every minute of it.

I’ve seen Armin Van Buuren roughly 25 times live. As expected, zero disappointment. Huge, ethereal trance with live vocalists, as he always does with his studio-release albums (I’ve seen his Intense, Embrace, now Balance show). His stage design takes a huge leap in state-of-the-art technology to keep you in A State Of Trance. I can’t wait until his next show!

As expected, Armin never disappoints! A great concise version of Armin Only show and the opening act by Ruben de Ronde was stellar! Superb light show and the venue fit just right with whole show. Would love to see it again!

The concert was unbelievable. The music center has great sound and service. It was safe. We had such a fantastic time! The music was incredible.

What a fantastic night. First with Ruben on the decks warming up the crowd, then Armin until 1AM! I would do it all over again too.

Awesome venue. Perfect show. Maybe have more restrooms available.

Anyone who complains about when the set time actually starts is a Karen. It was the best set and worth all of the time and money!
